My Gmail & YouTube Got Hacked – Here's EXACTLY How I Got Them Back!

Welcome back to the channel. Today, I want to talk about something that happened so horrifying to our company in our channel. Be sure to cook. We got hacked and it was a very scary moment, very frustrating moment. I couldn't get into the channel. I couldn't cook. I couldn't put anything on. I was horrified for hours and day. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know who to call. I didn't know how to proceed on doing anything. I was just in a total wreck. So my son that actually helps me and he runs the channel and he does all the stuff. He was confused. I was confused and we didn't even know where to start. So I got the phone, my cell phone, and I'm just sitting there like, who do I call? I don't know who to call. Should I call the FBI? Who do I call? I mean, I had everything on there. Oh my, my skits, you know, everything that I had, everything that you would have on a, on a website that you would, it's like your life. You don't know what to do. So as I calm down or I try to come down because he was panicking, I was panicking. My husband was panicking. Everybody was like, Oh my God, we couldn't get in. They had come find out. My son does all this stuff, you know, for the computer, for the business and everything. So he started getting on and looking through it and realized that our, our site had been hacked. All of our things that we put on to the, well, what he puts onto the website, our, our passwords would change the names. He started changing the name of my website, taking off stuff off there. My logo, I mean my YouTube account, my, my Gmail account, they hacked my Gmail account. I was thinking they was going to start getting into my computer and taking everything, you know, maybe going in, finding my, my, my, my bank accounts, my, my credit card accounts, everything. I mean, when you start thinking about stuff like that, that stuff is just like so horrifying. I mean, the thing about it, let me tell you all how it started. It all started with, we got a email and it was saying that they wanted us to do a promotion for a company to advertise some extra goods that, you know, we, that goes with our business. You know, maybe some, I think it had something to do with, you know, cookware or something like that. We were like, Oh great, cool. This is great for us and we can put it on the show, show people where they can get great products and great deals. Don't hit everything on your website. Don't do everything because half of those are scammed and YouTube was just, it was, it was just like, Oh, it was like crazy. So, okay. So one of the people that worked with us, he decided, Oh, this is be great for us. It'd be great for our viewers. It'd be great for everybody. So we clicked it and they said, well, great. You know, you want to work with us, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, this. Okay. So all we need is for you to go in and confirm all this stuff. And he went in and he was confirming thinking that he was working with another company that was gonna let us get great products for, you know, our viewers for, you know, cheaper and get, you know, discount. Well, after we did what we did or after they did what they did, we didn't hear no nothing back from them. So I was like, that's kind of unusual because when they wrote, they wrote them and he wrote back and they wrote him. And then all of a sudden when he had gave what he needed to give to them, we didn't hear anything back. So what they did is they asked us to download a doc for which they just told me what that was. I don't know where the doc form is because I just do all the cooking and do all that. And I have everybody else do all the other important stuff. So they did. And it was a contract for us to do this. So once we download that and did what they told us to do, we didn't hear anything back. They didn't hear anything back. I didn't hear anything back. I thought, you know, they were handling and hours went by and then, you know, we had ended everything. Everybody went home and I was, went to the store to drive with my son. And I was like, wow, that was so funny. Why come they didn't respond back to you after they were writing constantly? You were writing constantly and everybody else was writing. What was going on with that? So he said, I don't know. You know, it was kind of like funny. Like cause usually people respond back once they were talking to you. And I was like, yeah, that's, that's weird. Then I'm driving and I'm thinking, you know, that's not weird. That's funny. That doesn't seem like, that seems like something fishy. Okay. So after he got off the website, he went into the Gmail and he went into the YouTube account. And then that's when he noticed, Hey, I can't get on. I can't get on any of this. And I was like, what do you mean? And he's like, I can't get into, you know, be sure to cook. I can't access anything. And I was like, Oh, he said, Oh my God, we've been hacked. And I said, Oh my God, I know what it was. It was those people you were talking to, but they never responded back to you. And from then on, everybody was standing there, just started going in circles. I was walking, going in circles. They were walking, going in circles. Everybody was walking, going in circles. What do we do? What do we do? What do we do? This is actually how I instantly started to sweat. My son started to sweat. My husband started to sweat. The people started to sweat. It was like, Oh my God, we have been hacked. Are we really hacked? We're really hacked. We went in, we couldn't get in anything. They took our Gmail, they took our email, they took everything. We couldn't get into nothing. And so happily for maybe an hour or so, I mean, I started to feel like I was just going to lose control and I just wanted to scream. I didn't know what to do because I don't, I don't do that anyway. They do that. I leave them up to do it. I do the chopping. I do the cooking. I do all that. They run the other part. You know, I don't do any of that. So I thought, Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God. And I'm looking at my son because he knows all of that stuff. But I do have another son that lives across town from me, way across town, maybe an hour or so away. He does all these computer things too. So I said, Oh my God, I was just calling him like crazy. He wasn't answering the phone. And I was like, Oh my God, why is he not answering the phone? I just kept calling and calling and calling. Oh my God, what's wrong with him? He must be asleep. What? He wasn't asleep. He had his phone off and I forgot. He told me, Hey mama, I turned off my phone because I get so many people at a certain time. So you got to call my girlfriend. And that's how she gets the, I will know to answer the phone. And it hit me an hour later. I called and they picked up and be like, Oh my God, what's wrong mama? Cause I don't usually call. And I'm like, I don't know what to do. And I'm crying. And I'm like, Oh my God, what am I supposed to do? And then he goes, Oh my God. So we're talking and he's telling us to do all this different stuff. And then he stops. He goes, yeah, you're hacked. I'm like, okay, so I'm hacked. What do we do? So he says to me, ain't nothing you can do. And I get sad. My other son jumps up and he runs towards the back and I don't know what he's doing, but I guess he's just starts to look for stuff. Who can help us? And my other son's just talking about, Oh my God, this had to tell me this story that I don't really care about. All I care about is how can I get all of my stuff back the way it was before somebody took it away. And my other son comes out and then he tells me, I think I found something. So after my son came out and said, he thinks we got something. He had went on a, on his YouTube account and found out a bunch of stuff that he went to Twitter and he went to pound team YouTube. That's where you need to go. These people really did help us out. Most people don't find out they're hacked. Maybe 24 hours later, maybe two or three days later. We did it in two hours because we're constantly on there making sure that everything that we do is great. It's correct. We want to make sure all of our channels are working. We stay on there, keeping up with everything all the time. So we kind of found out early because we kind of like live on our, our, our YouTube account with be sure to cook. We're gonna, we're making sure that we're reading people's posts that they put on there. We're trying to answer things that people are saying. We're constantly making sure that the people that come to us, you know, are happy and we're trying to solve any questions that they have. So we're kind of on there all the time. So that's why we found out so early within two hours of doing what we did, we found out, Hey, these people hacked us. And then we kind of worked early. But if it wasn't for me calling my son, talking to him and then my other son getting panic and running back in the back and looking, he went on to Twitter and our YouTube and found out what happens when you get hacked? How can you, you know, what can you do? Is it somewhere, something or someone, one that can help us from unhack? And he found this Twitter. Uh, he went on Twitter and it was hashtag team YouTube. These people help you. And let me tell you what they did. The first thing they told us, they sent us a form and they told us to fill it out. Tell us everything that happened. What you did, what happened. We did that within two days of them working with us. I say it was maybe about 24 hours. They had froze the account because they realized it was us because they had turned around. They had, they was getting rid of everything. These people had got rid of my, uh, uh, uh, all my, uh, everything. I'm so upset. I can't even think about what they make. They got rid of, but they were getting rid of my, my account numbers and everything. They was getting rid of everything and they were putting them in their names and changing all my passwords and all the stuff that we had had. That's what I meant to say. They changed my passwords and it wasn't my passwords and my, they changed my logo. They changed my logo that really pissed me off. Once we filled out the form that hashtag team YouTube gave us, which that was, you have to go to Twitter to get that. Uh, we waited for about the next day. I don't need to say that was a whole 24 hours because we were doing this late up in the night, about around 11, maybe 12 o'clock at night. And we stayed up to about maybe about one or two. And then we didn't hear anything back from him in that morning, probably about around 11 or 12, maybe around that time. You know, they, they contacted us and, uh, they had the next thing they wrote is that, Hey, we put a freeze on this YouTube account, not the YouTube account. I'm sorry. The email account, they put a freeze where either not I are the hacker get into anything. So nobody couldn't get anything. It was a freeze on everything. So they was going to get everything situated and found out what was really going on. They went deep investigation, which we were glad because once they wrote us and told us, Hey, you know, we're, we're, we're freezing everything. Nobody's going to be able to get anything. We were like, great, great. So everything's frozen stuff. We had already noticed, uh, you know, that night or into the night as we were dealing with this, we had noticed that he had went in and he had took off, uh, you know, our, our logo to our, our website. And we were like, Oh my God, he's already messing stuff. But when they froze that, you know, everything got froze. So he couldn't go in and do anything else. Lord knows what he did. We didn't know what he did. And cause we couldn't get in it and he couldn't get in it. So then all of a sudden the next, the next morning, uh, we noticed that our logo popped back on. So we knew that we're doing something. I said, Oh my God, you know, my son said, Oh, our logo is back on. So he took it off. Now it's back on. So they must be working on something. So then we get this other strange email maybe later on in that day. And it was from, uh, it was another email from, uh, uh, Twitter or YouTube that we had got. I forgot which one it was. It was from the email, YouTube, whichever one was it. But don't worry everybody because I know right now I'm still kind of upset and I'll shaken up and I'll make sure that all this stuff that I'm talking about and all these, uh, you know, Twitter, hashtag, all this stuff is going to be at the bottom of the screen and it's probably going to be flashing through the whole time that I'm talking. Is it going to make sure you all have all the details to help you and your website or whatever you're running or whatever your YouTube account or whatever still is good to call. Cause this people are good. They're for the Twitter. You have to go to Twitter. They're for the YouTube. So if you do have anything that's going on YouTube or you know, someone, a friend or, you know, a relative that some, some of this stuff has, has happened to them. This is what I want you to give them because it's to help out other people. Okay. So here's the rough part. So later on, after, you know, they froze all the account from the YouTube, they froze everything where nobody couldn't get in and everybody did that. Google support writes, uh, writes us and was telling us that we have to access our account, you know, put in this password or whatever that they sent or whatever. It was called account support. Well, it's an account slash support slash era, a R a at google.com. Okay. First of all, this pops up, which all this other stuff's popping up. We all think now, since we already didn't got, you know, ripped off everything, we think everything that's popping up is all a scam. You know, with you, you would think, Oh, this is all a scam. So I said, okay, wow. He just, this person won't stop. They just keep going with it. So here's this Google support pops up and it's telling us to, you know, go ahead and reset the account, you know, put in your new, you know, change your password, put in all this stuff. We're looking at it and he's like, you think this is real? And I'm like, no, it's not. And I wouldn't do it. It's probably him. He can't get into the account or she can't get into account. Whoever had did this, you know, scam, they can't get into the account. So what they're doing is they're going to write you this stuff, but this is what's going through my brain. They're going to write you this stuff, hoping that you'll get in and give them the new password that you're about to use so they can have it on hand when they do release it and take your stuff. So we kind of sit on it for about 24 hours. We kept looking. So we keep thinking my son comes back and he's looking at the old time. I mean all day when that day we were just looking at it and I said, well, right, then go ahead and write the people that are supposed to help us. You know, and these people were the, um, let me see. Here it is over here. I got it written down. This was the, you know, the hashtag team YouTube. I said, write them back, right? These people back that, that, that froze our account and asked him did they send us this Google support, uh, stuff? Is this them or is this a scam? We don't know if it's a scam. So he writes them and we didn't hear nothing back. You know, the next day came and I was like, that's funny. They write us back. Oh no, definitely don't go. So, uh, my husband goes over and he's like, uh, well let me see. He goes and he, he kind of like takes it, uh, mouse and he kind of goes over it and it kind of lights up saying it's Google. Like, you know, it was legit, you know, but we still, we didn't know. So as we sat in there and the day went by the next morning, I thought, well, they never did answer back. Why they're not writing back. They're supposed to be helping us. They should be able to, you know, write back. And, uh, as they, they, they were doing all this stuff. We decided, well, maybe this is the right, maybe if we do click into this and it might be them and, uh, we could probably reset it, you know, the account and get back into our account. So my son says, well, let me go look at some other stuff on, on, on YouTube to see what other people did. And he finds this one video where this guy said that someone had sent that Google had sent him, it was Google support, Google had sent him this same exact thing that we had gotten and said he had got into it and opened it up and did what he did and it gave him back his account. And he, and he called us and he's like, Oh mom, guess what? You know, I did some research and I went on to the YouTube and I found this exact same guy that had the exact same, not the exact same guy, but you know, the this is exact same thing that we had gotten in. He opened it up and it was real and he showed me and it had to be the real thing. So I think this is legit. So we took a chance and said, okay, well they're not writing back and letting us know. Let's just go ahead and try it and if it doesn't, then we're going to all look at each other and put dummy heads on ourselves and said, Oh, aren't we stupid? But he did it. And uh, it told him to set the account with a new password, knew everything. And that's what he did. And our site came back on and we were like, Oh my God, everything was there. Our YouTube site came back on it. Everything was there. And I know guys, I've been so upset. I just keep saying our, our, um, our account came on. And actually I'm really talking about the YouTube is this whole thing is all about the YouTube account. So it came back on. We got everything. We changed everything and we really went through to protect ourselves very, very well. And we did do that and we're back on. But I did want to tell everybody this because I want you to be aware there is scams out there that might look legit and they're not. And it's so sad that people here in America have to go with all these scams. And for the scammers out there, I know you all are looking for money and I know you need the money for your families like everybody else that works in this country. But here's what I want to say to the scammers. Do what everybody else does. Get a job. If you're that smart that you can go through and scam somebody, which is, it's good because you, you're very bright and intelligent to even come up with these kind of things. That means you can take that intelligence and you can use it for something that's worth something. You can take that intelligence and create something that's never been created and get millions off of it. You can use that intelligence to start a business that nobody's never had and become a billionaire. You don't have to be a thief. You don't have to be a criminal. You can be a leader by using your brain because it tells me you have great opportunity to become something more bigger than, than this stuff that you're doing. You're taking your intelligence and you're doing evil, stupid stuff with it. This stuff is criminal activity where you could take that criminal activity brain and put it into something that is worth something that nobody else can do. Do that for me. Try to go out and take that intelligence and use it for good. Use it for yourself and your family. Show your family, show your kids. I'm better than this.
