Hey so Nick from Right this Minute came out to film at the gator farm with me a few weeks back. Here is the episode.
Guys, I have great news.
Elvis is alive, but his voice is a little raspy.
OK, OK.
That sound, I mean, does it sound like a jet engine, right?
Let's just leave it, it's all good.
Cool thing about Elvis is he now lives in Alamosa, Colorado,
at the Colorado Gator Farm.
We've got friends up there.
They love the show.
And this day, they wore one of our shirts.
Sure they did.
They sure did.
If we don't recognize that walk.
Well, I didn't fool you, huh?
What's up?
The kind folks up there, Jason, Donald, Dave, and Jay,
invited me out to have a little fun with their gators.
Ready to jump, straight from the back.
Hang on, show us all your fingers.
OK.
OK, good.
1, 2, 3, jump.
Hands on the neck, go.
Yeehaw!
What did it feel like?
Just pure power.
I mean, I knew I was doing the right thing,
but I knew that if she really wanted to,
she could easily just flip right out of that.
Amber, and Dave, and Jay, and Jason were all there.
We put some ointment on some of her cuts and scrapes.
Just dab on the ointment, and it'll
stay on even when she's in the water.
After that, we walked over to see Elvis,
but they made me walk through this entire pen.
They assure me that they'll just jump
into the water as I get closer.
Oh, they like lounging like that's the beach.
Did they really move out of the way?
They did.
Now here's Elvis, and I freaked out a little bit, OK?
Jason's there holding my arm.
No.
Yeah, tap him on the nose.
I don't want to do this.
Elvis was like, look here, you chicken.
We're playing a game.
Wow, my heart is freezing.
I did manage to touch Elvis briefly.
Did you really?
Was that anything?
Did you make contact?
Barely.
Oh, hello.
No.
I'm out of the water again.
No thanks.
Now, Ollie, I went in with 10 fingers,
and I came home with 10 fingers.
But Dave.
No, no.
You've got to be kidding me.
That's Dave's thumb.
He lost that last August.
Two weeks earlier, his dad lost the tip of his finger.
You know, at least he got it back.
It's true.
So if you ever find yourself in Alamosa, Colorado,
go check out the guys over at the Colorado Gator Farm.
I'm very impressed with everything they do.
Oh my gosh.
