Welcome back to another non-toxic vlog. Today I'm going to be sharing with you a reset as well as all the products and things that I love to live a non-toxic lifestyle. This morning we're making some fresh almond milk because I was really craving a matcha at home and I needed some almond milk. I use my almond cow for this and all I do is a cup of almonds and some salt and you have a fresh batch of almond milk. Okay now it's time for my favorite part of the day. We're gonna make some matcha at home. I've been loving matcha at home because I make this homemade organic lavender syrup with some lavender flour and it just tastes so good. I also love the peak matcha because you can blend it with cold almond milk. You don't need to have a warm liquid to make your matcha. Makes it super easy and it's so delicious with this lavender syrup. One of my favorite drinks in the morning. Okay now that our matcha is made it is time to start to reset. I had a bachelorette trip I was on this past weekend and I really desperately need to just get the house in order so that the rest of the week goes nice and smoothly. Okay before we get into that a little bit of cuddles with Milo. He was so curious on what I was drinking. He wanted this matcha so much. I know buddy, it's good. I love my morning matches. Okay first things first, I'm really excited to unbox this comforter I put on our wedding registry. Finally had it delivered to the house and I'm ready to unbox it. We are in big need of a new comforter. The one that we have is like a hand-me-down from Ben's parents and it was perfect when we got it but now it's just ready to be refreshed. I'm really excited about this. I also got a king size because I anticipate when we do move into a house in a few months or so no moving plans yet but when we do have a house we are going to get a new bed because this bed is literally my college bed. It'll probably go up to a king so I wanted to get king size but it actually is nice. It fits actually nicely like a little oversized sweater and honestly there's no better feeling than a freshly made bed. Not only did my apartment need to reset but I also needed one too. I've also added a retinol, a natural retinol, into my skincare routine making sure to follow that up with some SPF of course and I did regret to moisturize so I put it on top and we are good to go. My birthday was two days ago but somehow my Starbucks free drink came the day after so we went and picked it up and had some lunch and just sat outside and then later we made some dinner. We just did some bria tacos from Trader Joe's. It actually came out so good I had it with a side of poppy. Milo of course was wanting my food again. My husband, first time saying that in a video, my husband was off for the day so I decided just to spend some of the day with him but then later I wanted to finish this reset so I am doing all the dishes that desperately needed to be done, running the dishwasher, and cleaning off the countertops. I feel like having smooth clean countertops before I go to bed, waking up to a clean kitchen is the best feeling. Okay lastly, I'm not gonna lie, this suitcase has been sitting on the floor for the past probably four days. Finally going to unpack this and get all the laundry done, put this away, get this out of our living room. I love to vacuum our suitcases before I put them away because they always get like dirty and sandy somehow. Vacuuming the floors and just making it nice and clean for the week ahead. Good morning, happy Thursday! I'm drinking some leftover matcha for my birthday drink from Starbucks. I got an email from Starbucks saying that I only get my birthday drink a day after my birthday, which was so weird. I don't know if like something was wrong within their system. I got it yesterday. My birthday was two days ago. I did like a caramel cookie crunch thing. I don't usually go to Starbucks for their matcha because it's usually like loaded with sweeteners and stuff. It just doesn't taste like matcha. This tastes like a cookie so it doesn't taste like matcha but it is really good so I'm gonna enjoy it this morning. Ben was off yesterday, he's off today too, but he just left to go golfing with a friend because his friend's birthday is actually today. I'm actually really busy with work so I'm gonna work on a bunch of stuff today. Later my friend's coming over and we're gonna go meet our other friend for yoga. Yeah, today's just gonna be a crazy work day. It was really nice to reset yesterday. I just finished unpacking my suitcase. I had my friend's bachelorette this past weekend and I was up in New Jersey. That suitcase has just been sitting there. I've been dreading it. We went to Toronto for a wedding the weekend before. At our wedding, so much packing and unpacking and packing and unpacking. The following weekend is Labor Day. We're gonna go to my husband's parents house on Lake Norman and enjoy that for a few days. So we're really excited to do that. For now the suitcases are in the closet. We are not packing or unpacking anything. I have a little haul. Let me grab the stuff. Next is the Tammy Fender Celestial Rose Cream. I have their scrub, their facial scrub that I swear by. My skin loves it. I'm really excited to try another product from the Tammy Fender collection. Next we have the Osea Andaria Cleansing Body Polish. I always end up loving all of their stuff so I'm really excited to try. It exfoliates like dead skin cells. Pure EO Free Oil Cleanser. This is the second cleanser that I use in my face. It's like a really oily cleanser that I use to take off my makeup.
