Good luck with this video!
Unfortunately, many people don't do this.
Why? Because it seems to be time-consuming.
Namely, preparing for the conversation, the communication situation.
This is also called speaking planning.
You plan what you say.
And you also think about how your counterpart could react
in order to have answers ready in advance.
You decide in advance what you want to talk about and what you want to say.
Especially which goal you want to achieve with the conversation.
And best of all, how you want to behave.
It's best to formulate key points and not whole sentences
so that you can still act freely when speaking.
Otherwise, it would seem as if you had learned a text by heart.
And that usually seems very unnatural.
Choose the right contact person or the right contact person.
Are you really at the right address to present what you have to say?
Or should you perhaps prefer to turn to another person
because the communication is then more direct?
Also choose the right means of communication.
Would it be better to call someone instead of writing an e-mail
because it's just faster?
Or would it be better to have a personal conversation?
We have numerous means of communication that we can use nowadays.
The telephone, we can communicate by e-mail or in the chat.
We can personally, individually, in a four-eyes conversation
or communicate in a team and much more.
Communicate clearly and clearly.
That means, give your partner all the relevant information you need,
but not too much.
Try to keep it short, as short as possible.
Communicate intelligibly, i.e. with an intelligible articulation.
That refers to the voice.
That refers to your pronunciation.
That means, whether you can pronounce individual sounds correctly
and you are understood.
And also whether your emphasis, your vocabulary,
your speaking pace are good and appropriate.
Listen actively.
That means that you react to what your partner says.
It shouldn't just be sentences that you say and that your partner says,
but they should relate to each other.
In addition, everyone should be allowed to speak.
You, as well as your partner.
Learn to understand your partner better.
Maybe you also know what personality type he is.
There are numerous resources on the Internet
with which you can find out
which personality types exist
and which are in your environment.
In this way, you can put people in drawers,
which is actually not so good.
On the other hand, it also helps us to create a better access,
a better communication.
Try to be empathetic
and to put yourself in the situation of your partner.
This is sometimes difficult for us because we are simply in our situation.
When we try to put ourselves in the situation,
we can better understand feelings, thoughts and also what our counterpart says.
And also react to it in a more factual way.
Avoid reacting in an emotional way.
That means too impulsive and immediately.
If a situation triggers you,
if it really gets to 180,
then breathe out deeply and keep your distance from this situation, if possible.
In a conversation you could also say,
I would like to talk to them about this another time.
Or we could come back to this at the end of the conversation.
Until then, your thoughts have been sorted and you can react in a more factual way.
And last but not least, I have four more rules for you from the non-violent communication,
short GFK.
Of course, you can also use these rules in the professional context,
in professional communication.
If you want to express criticism, this is perfect, for example.
First, you describe what you have observed.
Very neutral.
An action, a perception, a situation that you noticed with your counterpart.
Then you explain what feeling triggered that in you.
Third, you tell your counterpart what your need is, what you would like.
For example, more autonomy in the profession, more independence in the projects.
Maybe also an increase in salary.
But here it is primarily about the feelings that should be fulfilled.
And finally, you formulate a request to your counterpart.
Here you say what your counterpart can do concretely,
what is also realistic.
Realistically feasible.
Also with the phrase, I wish me.
If you implement the tips from this video, you will quickly notice
that your conversations in the job become clearer,
you feel safer and you seem more professional.
This is how you get closer to your career goal step by step.
