Today we're gonna be catching an aquarium fish to put in the new nano tank. Look at all the shrimp we're catching dude.
Oh my god, that is the sickest thing ever. Oh, that thing is so sick. Dude, that's actually perfect.
That's exactly what we're looking for. Looks like a goby, right?
Oh my god, oh!
What's up BFB Nation, welcome back to another awesome video guys. Today
we're here inside my bedroom, and we got my new four gallon micro nano tank here.
I set this up in a recent video, and I absolutely love it.
I've been wanting one of these for a really long time. Right now
we have a fish in here that we caught recently in a ditch by my house,
and you guys had to help me identify it, and that is this guy right here, the banjo catfish.
This thing is so cool. He just kind of like sits there. I come in here, and he'll be buried in the sand.
He's doing really good. He's actually eating already.
I'm feeding him like bloodworms and all that, but that's the only thing we have in here so far.
Now I want to get this thing set up. I want to get some really cool micro fish.
I want to create like a little tiny ecosystem in this fish tank.
So today what we're going to be doing is we're going to be going to a tiny creek, one of my favorite spots
we haven't been to in a while, where there's so many aquarium fish, and we've never actually netted in there.
We've always just done fish traps, so today
we're going to get some micro nets, and we're going to net the whole canal, and see if we can catch anything cool,
worthy enough to put into my new four gallon fish tank.
So guys, let's head to the spot and start netting around, and see if we can catch something cool.
Alright guys, we're here at the tiny creek, one of my favorite spots guys. Here at this spot
we've caught so many cool aquarium fish. Just to name off some of the really cool stuff we've caught,
we've caught a hill stream loach in here. We've caught a bunch of little blue platties,
garamis, tetras, just a ton of really cool aquarium fish, because there's a pet store down there, and we're pretty sure, I mean, how
else are these fish going to get in here? But yeah, today I thought this is the perfect spot to come here with some nets.
We got some dip nets today, some buckets, and me and Dakota.
We got Dakota behind the camera. Guys, go subscribe to his YouTube channel, link in the description. Alright guys, well, here's the little creek.
I don't know which way we're gonna go today, but down there, there's a pipe, and that's usually where we go.
But today, we're gonna explore the whole creek with some nets.
Dude, look at those fish. Oh my god, there's a bunch of them. Oh my god.
Dakota, there's a million. They might be like tetras, cichlids, African cichlids, who knows what they are, guys.
I want to see what they are first.
Dude, there's a bunch of them. They look like some sort of cichlid.
Dude, there's like a million of them. Oh, they're African cichlids, I think. Look at them go.
There's some tilapia mixed in. Oh, we might try and cast at them once we... Oh, I'm sinking too.
Get them. I'm gonna try... Dude, they're too quick for the net. Look it, you see them?
They're so quick, bro.
Dude, look how sick this spot is. This is one of my favorite spots. Look at the flow on this current.
So, whatever fish we're gonna catch today, probably like some flow. Look at all the weeds.
You should scoop underneath those weeds. This is so sick. All right, I'm gonna try.
Nothing in that scoop. Some little snails. Maybe we'll keep some snails for the tank. Maybe I'll keep... Maybe we'll keep them.
Yeah, keep some snails. All right, I'll put them in my pocket.
Oh, oh, oh, what is that?
I don't think that's a mosquito fish. It's got a stri... Ew, what the heck is this? It's crawling on me. Oh my god, it's alive. Ew.
I don't know what that is. Shrimp.
Where'd he go? Where'd he go? I just got a shrimp.
There he is. That is so cool, guys.
We're gonna go get the bucket and get this guy in the bucket, because I definitely wanted a shrimp for that little tank.
This is perfect, guys. Let's go throw him in the bucket. Oh, what was that? Oh my god, chase it, chase it, chase it.
Chase it, Bobby. Chase it, Bobby. The freaking snake egg, quick. Oh my god, come on, Bobby.
Dude, oh my gosh. He disappeared. He's in here somewhere. Oh my... Oh, he's coming over. He's coming over. Oh my gosh.
Get down. Wait for him to get close. I'm gonna freaking... Oh my god, there's three of them.
Slowly, ready? I'm gonna sneak attack. Hey, wait, pass me one net. Pass me the net.
Where'd they go?
Where'd they go, Bobby? You see them?
There was three giant snake eggs. Oh, they scoop underneath there. I see a lot of fish. Where? Right where that like...
I think I'm gonna sink, bro. Do it. Oh, I see him now. Do it. I see him. I see a bunch of fish.
I hope I don't sink and die. Get him.
Oh, your net's so nice. I know. Oh my god, where did that go? No. Did it go through?
Dude, that was the gourami, baby gourami.
Dude. It went through. I saw it.
No, dude. That would have been perfect. It was like this big, baby gourami. We're dealing with really small fish now.
I'm gonna use the net with the smaller holes just in case because we just caught a baby gourami and it freaking fell out.
He's eating the tetras, bro. Go get him, Bobby. Go get the fish he was eating.
I see him. Ready? Jump on him, Bobby. Where'd they go?
Where'd they go? Oh, what the heck? What'd you get? Dakota. I don't even know what I got.
It's weird looking though. It was moving and I don't think it should be moving.
Look right here.
Oh my god, what is that? Should we take him home?
Look, bro. That's like an alien right there. Why is it moving? Yeah, get that out of here. Okay. Yeah, I'm just gonna
discard.
Oh, Dakota. What? Dude. What'd you get? Dude.
Baby crawfish. Really? Look at that.
Yes. We gotta put him in the micro tank. We're getting this thing in the bucket right now. This is insane. That's perfect.
All right, guys. Check it. We got our baby crawfish here. We're gonna get some water in there for him.
There you go, mister.
Sweet. All right. We're gonna set you right here.
Perfect. What'd you get? You want some of these snails? Oh, dude. That's sick.
Look what Dakota caught, you guys. A whole bunch of snails.
There's two right there. Sweet. Those are cool little snails.
He's getting up in there.
Oh, there's definitely a crawfish. Like a big one under that.
Oh, yeah.
There we go.
Oh, big shrimp. Big shrimp. Oh, get him. Get him. Get him. I got him. I got him by that freaking antenna.
Dude, look at this shell. Put this in the tank. Oh, yeah. Dude, look at it. It's alive. Oh, it is alive. That's sick.
These are some good finds, you guys.
I'll get some more water in here for you guys.
We got a shrimp and a snail added to the collection.
All right. So Dakota says there's a ton of little tiny fish under this blob of weeds. Ready? I'm gonna scoop under it.
Right there? Yep. Get him. Oh, I see him.
Oh, I didn't get that many. Oh, look at this one. Wait.
Wait, Dakota, look. What'd you get? Bro, what the heck is that?
Is that a fish?
Look how sick that is. Oh, shrimp. Oh, look. It looks like a puffer fish. Did we just catch a puffer?
That is not a puffer fish.
That is insane. Should we put him in the bucket? Yeah. Let's get him in there. Guys, I have no idea what that is.
It looks like a puffer fish with the stripes, but it has the shape of a fish. I don't even know.
Look at that.
Bro, that is so cool. Look at him go.
Look, he's going freaking crazy. That thing is so sick, dude. That's actually perfect. That's exactly what we're looking for.
We're looking for cool, colorful fish that I have no idea what they are to put in the mini aquarium.
That is exactly what we needed. Look at that little guy. Don't let him get away. He's in the net pocket. Oh, I see him.
Got him. Dude, these things are so slimy. There we go. Shrimp, ready?
There you go. Guys, check it out. We don't want these fish to die. So
we got this massive air stone on it. So they should be pretty good in there.
All right, guys, we're going to keep scooping right here. This was the money spot. So let's go after it again.
Oh, I caught another snail, bro.
Yeah, should we keep them? We have enough. I mean, it's a big snail. We'll throw them back.
Oh, what'd you get?
Is that a molly? What is that? What is that? It's a molly, I think. Oh my.
That is a molly. It's a molly. All right, guys, now there's really nothing by that pipe except for like mollies and stuff.
So I feel like all the cool stuff we've been catching has been in the weeds.
So we're going to go upstream now and net around all these weeds. See if we can catch something cool. Ew.
Oh my god.
There's got to be something in this, right?
Oh, I'm sinking.
Dude, you had to get something though. You had to get something. Oh, I see something.
Something's moving. We got something for sure. Dude.
Dakota, look.
What is that thing? That pink thing? It's a leech. That's a leech, bro. Oh, it is a leech. Ew, why is it pink?
Guys, there's a pink leech.
Dakota.
What? I didn't see anything. Dakota, look. Are you? Dude, it's orange. Yeah, it is. Look, ready?
Oh my god, dude. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? We just caught it.
Oh my god, that is the sickest thing ever. Oh.
I caught one that was like giant before. I've never caught a baby.
Look how cute. Oh, he's pinching me. He's pinching me. It is. Oh my god. We're so putting this in there.
That is the most perfect thing I've ever seen.
Going straight in that little tiny aquarium. Oh my gosh.
Guys, I'm so happy right now. That is perfect. That is exactly what we needed. Oh, look, a snail. Yeah, another snail.
We've never really been netting in this place before. We've only done fish traps.
So who knew that there was freaking baby orange crawfish in here when there's babies that's big ones.
Guys, we might have to come back here at night and try to get some freaking mondos. That is sick though.
This is a nice little switch up from the blue ones. Dude, you gotta put a pvc tube in here.
Oh, yeah, guys, we have to place crawfish traps here because obviously there's big orange ones.
Um, we've been getting a little tired of the blue ones because they're becoming a little more common.
We haven't caught an orange one in a while. I think i've only caught one before so this is so sick guys.
Let's go put them in the bucket. Dude, look.
Look, the snail's escaping.
Oh, dude, he's climbing. He's trying to climb out. Okay, we're gonna get the little crawfish in here guys.
Oh, this is so sick. He's like the same size as this little guy. The normal looking one. Oh, actually he's a little bigger.
So we have that little striped fish right there. He's cool. We also have this orange crawfish.
Those are the two stars of the show right now guys. We're gonna keep going. See what else we can get.
Oh, he's got some. Oh, I got a giant shrimp. Do you have any shrimp?
Oh, I see action. What is that?
What is that? Oh crawfish. No, it's a shrimp. Dude, this shrimp is huge.
Dakota, it's pregnant.
It's freaking pregnant. Wait.
Don't the males
become pregnant? This is a male, right? I think that's seahorse.
Maybe. I don't know. Oh, more. Oh, dude. Oh, there's a big shrimp right there. Grab him.
That's a giant. That's pregnant too.
We have two pregnant shrimp right there. Another one, dude. Three pregnant shrimp. Oh, there's another one. No way.
Look at all the shrimp we're catching, dude. They're all pregnant. Okay, shrimp fry. Let's get them. Let's get them in the bucket.
There they go.
Dude, those are so cool.
I don't know what we're gonna do with them. Maybe we'll put them put a couple in the tank.
And then they'll have babies and then something to lead the babies. I don't know. That's really cool though.
Oh, there's duckweed. We could bring duckweed for the tank too. Oh, yeah, those little plants. That's cool. So, oh, there's a stick right here. Ready?
Oh, I just saw one.
Dude, you saw that? Yeah. That was an orange crawfish. Where'd he go? It was big. That was, where did he go?
He definitely just went in that tight. He definitely went in here. Ready?
Where did he go? You saw him, right? Yeah, that was an orange crawfish. No, but he's gone.
Oh, wait, I think I got him.
I got him! Yes! Oh my gosh. Guys, I,
I know I'm gonna get comments.
I can't do the high pitch yet. We're getting there though. That's crazy. We got another one.
I saw that thing shoot out from this log.
I lifted up the log and he shot out through the current and I didn't, I thought I got him, but
look at that.
Oh my god, wait.
What the heck is that?
Oh my, Bobby, you have to keep that. I'm keeping it. That is so sick. Dude, it's got purple on it too.
Look at the purple right there. That is so sick. Okay, we're putting both those things in a bucket. That's sick.
Dude, it's purple. Look at the purple on him.
Purple right there. That thing is cool. All right.
I'm gonna get him in the bucket. I think we should put him in a fish tank. That's really cool.
All right. What else did we, oh yeah, the orange crawfish.
And a molly. There's a little molly right here.
Little molly. Bye-bye. Where did that thing go?
He disappeared. Oh, there he is. Call him Houdini. Oh, and a shrimp. Pregnant shrimp. Oh.
Ready?
Look at that, you guys.
He's got a, he got a little hat. You saw it? He had a little hat on.
There we go, guys. Shrimp and crawfish. Best friends.
Boom.
We got the little, little stripe thing. We have no idea what that is. And then the crawfish.
This is looking sick, guys. I gotta keep in mind the tank's only four gallons.
So I think this is enough to fill it up right now.
But I'm gonna do one last scoop for good measure and we're gonna scoop up like the entire weeds.
I'm gonna do one whole lap, just a whole bunch of weeds and see what we get in there.
And then we're gonna head home, get these guys in my new tank, guys. This is sweet.
Keep scooping. I don't think that was good enough. Yeah, I gotta keep scooping. Ready?
Well, one more scoop, one more scoop. Another?
Oh my, you really want me to die.
What if I like sink to my death, bro? Ready? Oh, right there, right there. Yeah.
Oh, that was the one. That was the one. We gotta get something in it, right? Just dump it out. Yeah.
There we go. Come on. Give me something good. I deserve it. I almost died.
Dude, there's nothing. Oh my god!
Bro, Dakota, go get the bucket. Oh my gosh. Holy crap.
Wait, I'm coming with you. What even is that?
Yellow, purple, red, blue. It's red, white, and blue. Oh my gosh, this is so sick.
It looks like a goby, right? Like a... It looks... Dude, it looks like it's saltwater.
I feel like I've seen that in saltwater freaking fish tanks, right? Yeah. Look.
Look at him right there. That thing is so cool. Hey, buddy. Oh my god, look at him. Oh!
What the heck is that?
Guys, I think that is like actually the coolest thing we've caught here. Dude, you can't get any
more perfect than that. This is exactly what we needed. Something freaking beautiful for this
tank. All right, guys, we got all of our finds in this little thing. We're gonna get them in a
real bucket now. Head to my house. That is insane. Guys, real quick, help identify all these fish.
We have no idea what that colorful thing is, what that stripe thing is, what that
other stripe thing is. We caught a lot of stuff here that we don't know. Help me identify it.
We're gonna bring it to our house now and put it in our tank. We'll see you guys there.
We're home, bros. Hello. Look how big Banner's getting. Oh my gosh. Oh, you better watch it.
He's gonna smack you. He's gonna smack you, bro. All right, guys, we're here. We got Mooney making
his guest appearance as always. Mooney, you checking out the new fish? Yeah. Guys, we're
gonna get them acclimated and then we're gonna put them into our new tank. It's gonna be so sick
when all of them are in there. The fish are acclimated in this little tub. Check it out.
We got both of the little orange crawfish right there, the little babies. We got that stripe
thing right there. We got the big purple rainbow thing. We got all the shrimp. We're gonna start
strong. We're gonna start with one of the orange crawfish. Ready? Here you go, buddy. This is gonna
be so sick. Oh my gosh. Oh, look at them. Dude, that is so cool. Oh, I cannot wait for all of them
to be nice and comfortable. Let's roam around. It's gonna be so cool, guys. Here we go. Let's
get this thing in. This is the striped little fish I was telling you about. Oh, here's the little
striped fish. Look how cool that is. Can you see them? That is such a weird looking fish. I've
never seen that before, guys. Let's get them in the tank. See ya. Oh, right there in front of the
camera. Wow, look at him from here. Bro, that's so cool. Dude, he's got like a massive mouth.
Look at that. So cool. Look at this. We got the dynamic duo, baby. We got the snail and the
crawfish. Here we go. Slawfish. Oh, they fell off. This is so sick. He's no orange crawfish,
but hey, a baby crawfish is a baby crawfish. Here you go. He's even babier. Oh, he went right back
Oh, I don't even know where he went. He went back to the grass. All right. This is like the best
thing we've ever caught from that place. Look how sick this is. Ready? What the heck? That's a goby
for sure, right? I don't think I've ever caught a goby, but that looks like a goby. Be free. Whoa.
Oh my. Dakota, this is so sick. Let's put some shrimp in here too. They're gonna help clean up.
Oh, that's so sick, dude. I love them. Nice little shrimp right there. You know what? Let's get
another shrimp in here. Let's get the pregnant one. Pregnant shrimp go in. There she goes. Look
at her eggs. Both the orange crawfish under the driftwood right there. Oh, they're fighting. No
way. Oh my God. They're tussling, bro. They're tussling it out. We got the rainbow. Oh, dude,
why are they fighting? Look, the other fish is like, I don't want to look at this little guy.
Look at this little guy. He's like, I want to be in the camera. He wants to be in the video.
Bro, what is going on? He's levitating. I did not know they do. Oh, crawfish. He's trying to get
into the shell. Oh, oh, is he going to try and pull the snail out to get in there, bro,
and make it his home? This is crazy. See, this is what I love about these small tanks, guys,
is there's so much action in such a little space. Like there's always something to look at. It's
really cool just to, you know, observe this little ecosystem. All right, guys, I forgot one
thing. We got two tiny snails here. Boom. There they go. So we got the big snail and we got the
two little snails and there's our little crawfish. We're going to pick this video up in the morning.
It's going to be a split second for you guys. I just want to show you an update on everything
that we put in here today and show you how it's doing. But so far things are looking good.
That little striped fish in the back there, that is my favorite. He looks so cool. He looks like
a puffer fish, but he's not. Guys got to go down there and comment what they are. But yeah, guys,
we'll see you in the morning and give you an update on our mini tank. Does Bruce eat the shrimp?
Who knows? Oh, dude, he ate it. He ate it. He ate it. Does he spit it out though? Wait,
does he spit it out? No way. Dude, he just swallowed it. That's the first live animal
that Bruce has ever ate. You want another? Oh, dude, he wants it. Here, eat it. Oh, oh my gosh.
Oh my God. He's scaring me. All right, Bruce. Good boy. Okay, guys, it is actually a full day
later. It's the next day. I just wanted to pop on and do a little update for you guys for the end of
the video. Here's the nano tank right now. Now, as you can tell all those fish we put in here,
all those things, it still looks very empty. So I guess we've got to get more. But right up there
is that one striped fish that I have no idea what it is, but it looks like a puffer fish.
He's up there. We got our banjo catfish. He's been in here already, so nothing new. Our big
snail is in the back there in the grass. He was actually eating algae off of this driftwood,
so he's putting in work already. He's doing good. There's an orange crawfish. Oh, here he comes.
Look at him right next to our little striped fish. Oh, there's our other crawfish. He's climbing up
the grass right now. Oh, right next to a shrimp too. Look at that. Oh, that's so cool. He's
literally climbing on the grass. Oh, there he is. There's the other one. We got both of them out
right now, and there's our little striped fish right there. We're just missing that one colorful
one, but I think that's under the grass. Sweet, guys. Comment a name for our two new orange
crawfish. These guys are so cool. So yeah, guys, I know a lot of you requested this video to go out
and catch fish for my new nano tank. If you did enjoy, you want to see part two, go down there,
10,000 likes, and we'll do it. We'll do a part two. We'll go to the same spot and try to catch
more fish for that tank. I'm also really enjoying these nano tanks, so I might get a bunch more
because I just love them so much. If you guys want to see that, let me know. Go down there and leave
a like, subscribe if you haven't already. I'll see you in the next one. Peace out.
