These are some of the most powerful 2-stroke cars ever built, with crazy horsepower. All of them are tuned and custom-built, then tested. A huge respect goes to all the teams and individuals who created these machines, because building them is not easy. It demands so much time and effort, but all that hard work pays off when the car runs and produces an absolutely beautiful sound.
Saab Sonett II (Bonneville racer) is from Tom Donney Motors
Geo Metro Salt Racer is from Clay Pitkin
1985 Pontiac Trans Am is from Jack Iliff (I.C.E. Racing)

In this video, I will show you three most insane two-stroke cars with crazy horsepower
that you have never seen before.
This is Saab Sonet from Tom Donner Racing. It has 750cc inline-3 two-stroke engine with three
Sol-X carburetors. It produces more than 114 horsepower and 78 foot-pound of torque
with top speed of 129 miles per hour.
This is GeoMetro Saltracer built by Clay Pitkin. It has turbocharged 900cc two-stroke twin-engine
from an Arctic Air snowmobile. It also had a custom exhaust chamber and the engine fit
perfectly in the GeoMetro. It had approximately 285 horsepower at the wheel and top speed of
about 144 miles per hour. Unfortunately, there is no video of this running but I'm sure the
sound will be awesome.
This is the 1985 two-stroke Trans Am built by the Jack Aleph from ICE Racing. It's a
five-cylinder two-stroke two-liter engine producing 461 horsepower and 300 foot-pound
of torque. The engine is made from five Articat 800 cylinders, each 400cc.
It has 540mm smart carburetors with jaws pipe. It also had a custom block and crankshaft with
special clutch setup. All of this gives the car a top speed of around 200 miles per hour.
The team first tried in 2021 but it was in 2025 when they finally set official records.
