How to be confident always?
See, first, who said you're not confident?
Have you ever seen a kid who wasn't confident?
A one-year-old or a two-year-old?
They walk around like they own the world, right?
You were that kid.
That's the truth.
No one is born without confidence.
Confidence is natural and it's your default setting.
So the real question is not why am I not confident, but what happened to my natural confidence?
I'll tell you what happened.
When you were a kid, maybe someone scolded you too harshly or maybe you got bullied for
how you look or for how you spoke or just for being yourself.
And then something happened in your brain.
See, your brain is always learning and every time you get rejected, criticized or embarrassed,
it took a mental screenshot like, remember this, don't let this happen again.
So the next time you try to do something you like, your brain whispered, what if they laugh
at you again?
What if you fail again?
See, every time you hesitated, your brain took another screenshot and eventually your
doubts became your beliefs and your beliefs became your reality.
And you started thinking, I'm not a confident person.
And that's what happened to your natural confidence.
Confidence is still inside you.
It's just that it is buried under layers of self-doubt, fear and negative beliefs.
And you started to believe that these layers are your personality.
So now we'll discuss how we can reclaim that natural confidence.
Very simple.
All you have to do is this.
Remove these layers of fear, negativity, belief system and self-doubt.
There are different methods to do it.
I'll tell you three methods.
First, whenever your inner voice says, I'm not good enough, pause and ask yourself, is
this really true?
Or is this just an old memory replaying in my head?
Remind yourself, that was my past, but doesn't define me now.
Second, start collecting tiny wins.
Every time you try something new, every time you push past your doubt, even in the smallest
way, you're proving something to yourself.
Proof that you are capable, proof that the world was wrong about you and proof that you
can do hard things.
These small successes will create positive feedback loops and give you reason to believe
yourself.
Third, and this is the most important of all.
You can't nurture confidence in a toxic environment.
Step away from negativity, whether it is people, places or habits, detoxify your mind and focus
on what uplifts you.
Whatever happens in your life, do these three things religiously, practice them.
One day, you look back and realize something amazing.
No matter how many times you fall, you know you will pick yourself again.
That is confidence.
No challenge will feel too big.
No failure will keep you down.
Confidence won't just be something you have, it will be who you are.
