California Trip Day 2 - Burbank to The Central Coast 2019

so we're checking out of the Safari Inn here in Burbank really really cool old retro hotel that husband maintained and redone remodeled safe area that's why we pick burbank if you are coming to the Hollywood area it is a little little drive a bad but definitely safe [Applause] this will be our second time staying here not very big [Music] deck up there for some tanning nice little pool here hey guys this is Jenna and Dale with resort tv1 and this is day two of our California vacation we have our GPS going in the background yes we got where we're going we are just leaving burbank checked out of the safari in really cool hotel in a safe area so we recommend burbank area for staying in and yeah now we're heading to our next stop which is going to be central the central coast in California it's about three hour drive but we're gonna make at least one maybe two stops on the way so hope you guys enjoy the video so we woke up to beautiful sunshine in the mountains I miss the mountain so much it's nice to see those again and super expensive gases gases yes super expensive gas here at least in Burbank we'll see what it is in central California where we used to live so it's all right just getting out of Calabasas and heading through the hills uphill downhill around the hills and then the hills are very dry right now I remember the last day we are here it was springtime and it was pretty rainy the faul that we lived here and beautiful they were green and lush and yeah really pretty the one year one year at one time actually we came through in January to Aria and there were snow on the mountains so that was [Music] [Music] [Music] check out all the cacti here on the mountain side found the ocean there does Pacific Ocean don't worry we'll be making more stops out here [Music] so we are pulling up to we almost missed it um one of our favorite spots in California that we cannot get busy no that we cannot get in Florida or East Coast anywhere in-n-out burger we're so excited I miss these so much from when we left here literally all they have are burgers and maybe hotdogs fries milkshakes yeah so here we go all right we got our in-and-out burger check it out since 1948 it's been around and got a burger with fries so yeah simple but delicious it comes with a really good sauce on the burger and usually lettuce tomato all that I just got tomato and cheese and yeah cannot wait to eat this yummy [Music] [Music] [Music] we are in Pismo Beach really cool beach chair but then there's a small beach right next to Pismo Beach and we like to go to call them Shelby true that is where we're [Music] we made it oh my goodness it's gorgeous out here and the weather is absolutely perfect deals already out there checking it out seeing if the tide is up or not if we'll be able to go out there or not sometimes the tide comes up so far you can't even walk out there all right we made it here to one of our favorite beaches Shell Beach which is right next to Pismo Beach and a short little half an hour live stream surprisingly so hopefully you guys enjoyed checking that out so now we're going to head up the beach here a little bit and head on up highway to our destination so here were the stairs that we came down we parked up top here and down there's some cool like rocks over here in tight pools that we want to show you guys we showed them on the livestream what we want to show them on the vlog as well stairs go up back up the road tails trying to catch a wave we were trying to find some sea glass on the stream but we didn't find any no luck here but we do have another beach that we like to go see about sea glass see you about sea glass you want to do there little boat way out there [Music] so here's the rocky area you're talking about and when there is high tide of course the water comes up all the way over these rocks and when it goes out it leaves these little tide pools pull the water here throughout the rocks and then if you look inside of them you can clean creatures because a little crab is hiding glass we found some anatomy down here and these type Walter they are kind of shut right now that here is right there [Music] we are coming up to a really really cool old hotel that they have refurbished Madonna in and we get to stay here this time there it is on the on the cliffs over there really get a better view we're at the end of our trip for our anniversary there's the sign and not wait to go there what I did so we're heading in and out of the mountains up and over it just past slow which is San Luis Obispo which is one of the biggest a little bit one of the biggest towns with the biggest little eccentric town here in the central part of California in San Luis Obispo County yeah there's a college there Cal Poly [Music] yours are pumpin if they are were going up [Music] [Music] [Music] we go into templeton population 7,000 when you drive all the vineyards on the next [Music] [Music] so our first winery stop is broken earth winery this is where our friend pours really cool they're like the bell rings something like that Miki's hit him hey cute yeah he didn't mickey right here is that the club so for club members of the winery that's their lounge up top there we have a little marketplace in here as well with soaps olive oil and body butter the Lighting's bad but that's all dipping oil salami company they're opening a pizza little cafe area here pretty soon imported from Italy Wow check that out it's really cool this is a definite spot you have to come visit it's from the wine club member a lounge very nice up here [Music] okay we are in Paso Robles in a speakeasy called 11:21 11:22 is very limited space on the outside there's no door handle you have to ring the bell like you're going into club 33 that's a very cool place thank you I'm gonna start with the butter behind the Montenegro takes a little longer we have fresh American pickle when have you had this one before I have it but I've had others like this [Music] in between [Music] stirring it with granny right that it's gonna be a little tingly if it's about but yours once you get something cold I have given her drink the smoke wants to go somewheres and once you have a chilled glass like this or an ice cube can't really eat it really starts to go into the glass and it's an orbit to it to get Stroh is in this Austrian [Music] now because it's not just your shell playing up or cooling and everything it's gonna actually have a flavor difference going on slowly loosens all the alcohol ingredients that are in there alright guys well I hope you
