A Chinese student named Gu was originally planning to study at Houston University in the United States.
However, due to his connection with the CCP, he was quickly repatriated after being searched by the customs for nearly 36 hours when he entered the country.
According to the customs document, the customs personnel found in his cell phone that he had a close relationship with the CSSA, the Communist Scholarship Association.
According to the U.S. Congress's investigation report, the CSSA is an organization controlled and commanded by the CCP Consulate General.
This shows that the U.S. government is strictly investigating people who are closely related to the CCP.
The customs document shows that on August 16, at Houston's George Bush Airport,
Customs personnel inspected and checked this Gu Chinese student's cell phone,
and found that he was in a group of several Chinese Students' Scholarship Association members.
Customs personnel asked the student about his relationship with the Chinese Communist Party.
Gu said that his parents are CCP members, but he has never joined the CCP, and is just a member of the Communist Youth League.
Customs personnel also questioned his relationship with the CSSA,
because these information appeared in his chat log.
Gu said that this was only mentioned when he was chatting with his classmates, but he had not received money from the CCP government.
Finally, he was quickly repatriated to China and was banned from entering the United States for five years.
The reason why Customs refused to allow this student to enter the U.S. was that his purpose of entering the U.S. was not in line with his visa.
In July this year, the U.S. Congress called on the U.S. University of Kosovo to terminate its cooperation with the CCP's Chinese National Academy Foundation.
The reason is that the organization is controlled by the CCP,
and uses U.S. education and research resources to support the military development of the CCP, which poses a serious threat to the U.S.
The Chinese Student-Scholars' Union has long been identified by the U.S. State Department as an organization controlled by the CCP's Communist Party,
which monitors Chinese students and harasses and intimidates foreign dissidents, suppressing their freedom of speech.
The lawyer reminded that obtaining a visa is only a qualification to enter the U.S. border,
and that Customs has the right to decide whether to allow entry.
Chen Chuangchuang believes that this case shows that the U.S. government is conducting a strict review of students related to the CCP,
and that foreign students should cut ties with the CCP in time.
