Welcome to Panama City for tonight's matchup in group A of the 2025 CONCACAF W Champions Cup. It is FC Torino against Club America from Liga MX here this evening. So great to have you with us with our entire crew here in Panama in Costa Rica against Alavelense in their first matchup. The whistle blows. Club America put the ball in play and here we go this evening. Hasn't been able to connect those long distance passes. Here's a brilliant ball through the middle. A couple bobbles. Lozano is out but that ball finds the mesh. Kiana Palacios, two dribbles, a left-footed strike. Club America lead 1-0. This is where the last dangerous cross came from. Instead this is a threaded ball in. Guerrero back. Villamala scores. Terrific ball from Guerrero and Villamala makes it two for Club America. For teams that win it can't just be a 1-0 victory. Here's this opportunity and a shot that hits the paws of Lozano and hits the back of the net. Bruna Villamala scores for the second time in less than 10 minutes. Club America lead 3-0. Once again it all starts in the midfield and it's a delightful pass from Palacios. Hold on to that thought for a moment. Another long run here. Villamala is all the way over. This shot however it is 1v1 and it is the strength of Montserrat Zaldivar. The 18-year-old to add a fourth in short order for Club America. Look at this strength here from Zaldivar. Holds on to it. Has the poise. Long ball Zaldivar. Already seen what she can do in these situations. Crosses. Redirected out. Guerrero finds an angle. Guerrero shreds the strings. Her first goal of this tournament after three last year makes it five in the first half for Club America. It's the poise as always from the Spaniard and she rips that ball flawlessly. And now Club America tie. Washington Spirit wins the race around. Hits it off the right side of the boot. It trickles in. Falls back. Gutierrez misses it wide and that will be the end of the first half. And a lopsided decisive opening. 45 minutes. Palacios threads the needle. Villamala. Villamala blasts and how about that stifling stop from Lozano. Across it goes. Late arriving run. Villamala just tied. Let's say so. They're trying to regain that confidence from league action. This ball rolls in. It gets past Lozano and she can't get a hand on it. It splashes down inside of the net and it's a six for Club America. Guerrero adds a second. Guerrero crushes it. Guerrero finishes once more. Irene Guerrero with a hat trick to make it 7-0 Club America. She is the team's last three goals. This ball trickles to the sidelines. Salivar gets an angle. Excellent turn. Montserrat Salivar throws it in front and how about that? Right in the middle of the field it is Scarlett Camperos that scores to make it eight. Padero gets the return feed from Camperos. She drifts in centers it through the middle. Palacios punches and scorches the net. It is a ninth for Club America and a second for Palacios. Whistle blows. Club America take out Churrio by a final score of nine.
