Quieter, please.
Okay, Jake.
Introduce yourself.
Sorry, what?
Can you introduce yourself?
Sorry, what?
I'm Jake ASMR, chillin' all.
Hi, my name's Margot Robbie.
It's me, Blossom.
I'm Kate Hudson.
Hi, everyone.
I am Lucy Hale.
I am Ashley Graham.
I am Salma Hayek.
Hi, I'm Emily Ratajkowski.
My name is Ka, and we're doing an ASMR interview
for you, Maxine.
What have you been doing today?
I woke up, and I had no text messages
because I have no friends,
and then I looked at my emails,
and sure enough, they were empty.
And then I sort of sat there alone for a while.
And then I came here to be loved, yeah.
I'm from Australia, the Gold Coast in Queensland.
I love the ocean, obviously.
I love my family.
They're an Australian thing, so I can say that.
I love Vegemite.
I definitely ate Vegemite as a child.
Everyone does.
It would be super weird if you didn't,
but it is an acquired taste.
This is what it sounds like.
That's the sound of my childhood.
Take it slow, maybe add a slice of cheese with it.
It can be a lot just on its own.
So I am a self-proclaimed body activist.
I actually talk to young girls
about loving the skin that they're in,
and I talk about things like cellulite.
Some people have a really hard time
actually saying the word cellulite,
but I actually don't mind saying it.
In fact, I don't even mind posting it on Instagram
and not retouching it out.
You should try it sometime.
There's a bunch of Starbursts right in front of me,
and I freaking love Starbursts.
I like to put combinations in my mouth.
My sister hates it when I chew with my mouth open.
She actually wants to kill me.
Sorry.
They have some interesting props I wanna show you.
Shh!
Oh, what some of my favorite sounds are.
It might get a little messy.
I'm gonna end up a York peppermint patty.
Wait for it.
Yes.
In Halloween,
a person escapes from a mental institution
and kills everyone that he encounters
all on Halloween night,
and this is the sound of stabbing a pumpkin.
This is a big knife.
Okay.
The sound of them reminds me of some people in
I Wish You'd Had Some Guacamole.
It's just cool.
From Israel,
I do have favorite Israeli snacks.
I love Bamba.
I love Bisli.
I like Kifli Grill.
Let's try some Bamba.
So here we have Bamba, it's an Israeli snack.
It's like peanut butter.
It's like peanut butt.
It's a Bamba.
I'll give you some of this.
I've decided to bring in some fabrics,
some that are not my clothing.
Like, who doesn't wanna know what sequins sound like?
This one feels a little more fun and flimsy.
This feels more like a party.
Check this out.
I've always wanted to know what mesh,
what mesh sounds like.
This is what it sounds like when we snap our pants.
Love this broken.
It's got mesh detail.
This one is really nice and thin.
It feels nice and thin.
It dries really fast for those of you who run
and like to do hot yoga.
When you hear, this is leather.
Okay?
It's like leather and lace.
I don't know about you,
but I'm reminded of a song
by Stevie Nicks and Don Henley.
It's one of my favorite songs of all time.
This is my leather and lace.
My love to leather and lace.
We love you, Stevie.
I kinda wanna go back to the sparkle.
Dancing is fun.
I like hot yoga.
I like hot.
I also like not everything.
I like not doing everything.
Just chill out and do what feels right for my body.
Okay, let's get back to waist belts.
Things just got saucy in here.
I'm wearing a trench coat by The Koopal.
It's made out of something shiny that makes a lot of noise.
That's a crazy sound.
Koopal's gave me the outfit I'm obsessed with
and I wanna wear all the time.
This is a very structured bag.
You can squish it.
This opens.
It has many different compartments.
This is actually one of my favorite prints.
There is a really good duck in a very small factory.
It's very chic.
I've stolen some jewelry from the fashion stylist
and we're gonna play with it.
That's loud.
Taking these ones home.
I discovered a love for fashion
when I was probably in third grade
and I would make drawings of all my pretending dresses
for my third grade teacher.
We've got these really giant hair cutters.
I thought it would be interesting to hear
what it sounds like to cut fabrics.
This is actually something
that brings me back to my childhood.
I'm gonna turn these jeans into shorts.
I don't know if you can hear
but my jeans are screaming right now.
This is so satisfying.
TV show, Parks and Recreation
is an audition for that show.
I guess in that meeting, I was so weird
that they decided to create the character for me.
So in the original pilot episode of Parks and Recreation,
the character of April's actually,
of course they had to change it.
Television feel like is a big part of me.
I am April and April is me.
It's a heightened version of me.
It feels very close to my heart
but also it's on that show for seven seasons.
I don't know why but it has a kind of psychic,
beautiful love energy radiating out of it
because we all loved each other so much.
And you can tell when you watch the show
kind of reminds audiences
that comedy doesn't have to be mean-spirited
because Jerry sucks, deserves to die.
I play Supergirl on the CW series Supergirl
and I'm gonna walk the Supergirl.
She is, her Kryptonian name is Clara Zor-El
and some of her powers are heat vision,
microscopic vision.
She has x-ray vision.
She has superhuman strength.
She's invulnerable.
She's the girl of steel.
Oh, she can fly.
One of my favorite powers she has is freeze breath
which I'm going to do for you in a whisper.
We also have Aquaman in the DC app.
He, of course, can breathe underwater
and he can fish.
I'm gonna breathe underwater.
Is that something I can do?
Sort of sounds like a hot tub.
So heroes wouldn't be heroes
without villains on the opposite side.
One of them is Catwoman or Selina Kyle.
She's often doing the wrong thing
for the right reason
which is why we love her.
The sound of her claws scratching a cat post.
I'm sure she does that in the privacy of her own home.
Like these gloves, too.
Classic thriller, House of Wax.
The owner of a wax museum takes the bodies of his victims
and turns them into wax figures.
So this is the sound of a wax candle being lit.
I'm surprised I did that in one try.
So in Psycho, the movie explores
a motel clerk's strange relationship with his mother.
And this is the sound of Norman
brushing his mother's hair.
Boy's best friend is his mother.
So weird.
Students start disappearing in the woods
and all that's left of them is the footage on their camera.
And this is the sound of rustling leaves
and breaking twigs.
Once in this lifetime,
she was a Mexican surrealist artist.
And she said she painted her pain
but she painted it with so much joy
because it's full of colors, her art.
These are the steps of the ghost of Frida
who keeps haunting me.
I moved to the United States when I was 20 years old.
I love it.
I got a job pretty quickly
and I moved to New York for the first time
and I was working on a show called Pan Am,
which is about flight attendants in the 60s.
This is an authentic seat belt from 1963
when the show was set.
You can tell that this is proper vintage.
It's not.
Here's the sound of the seat belt.
Wait for the satisfying bit.
Airspray was actually a big part of Pan Am.
This is what the sound of the 60s is.
Also satisfying.
The smell is really bringing back memories.
My first American film,
which was The Wolf of Wall Street,
I played Naomi
and she is the wife of stockbroker Jordan Belfort
who was played by Leonardo DiCaprio.
She was wickedly fun to play.
Very different from myself.
This is what it sounds like
when Naomi is walking towards you.
That sounds a little more ominous
than she probably sounds coming towards you,
but you get the idea.
Easiest day of shooting I ever did
was my little cameo role in The Big Short,
where literally I did half a day of shooting
in a mansion in Malibu
and I got to sit in a bathtub.
Adam McKay actually gave me real champagne,
not just any champagne,
but 20-year-old Dom Perignon.
I'm gonna replicate.
This bit's less exciting, hold on.
It gets darker this way.
That's probably my favorite sound
of the whole film, actually.
Ding, ding, ding.
Thanks.
And to take my favorite line to date,
now f*** off.
It means rest.
My family and I play a game of cards.
We call it Continental,
but it's not really Continental.
If my career goes back,
I can always be a dealer in Vegas
because I'm too old to be a dance girl or something.
This is a still camera.
It looks like it actually does still use film,
a film camera like this.
Super slow shutter.
I mean, I'm just a pawn in this game.
I just like building tables.
I feel like I should be singing opera with this right now.
Oo, oo, oo, oo, oo, oo, oo, oo, oo.
I'm trying out for America.
I know you guys just don't know about it yet.
To represent it,
use the sounds of texting on my phone,
my personal phone.
I just like to first show you
that I have two stickers on my phone.
One says,
hot old cocks,
cause I like ****.
I'll send a text to,
I'll probably send a text to
me, himself.
This is,
you know who,
the magazine,
Gary Sucks,
question mark,
exclamation point.
Send.
Let's see what he says.
Don't believe you'll be able to come up
with anything negative to say about Jerry.
If you can't,
go for it.
Smiley face.
What a dumbass.
He really,
sucks.
You suck.
Okay, let's bubble wrap.
When I just coughed,
did it sound like the world was,
just like exploding?
