Alright, so I'm going to be trying out a bunch of new stuff and some of it is from the PR
unboxing haul that I posted last week and some of it is more stuff that I got before
that or more stuff that I've gotten since that video.
So I'm going to get started.
So this is the primer I'm going to be starting off with today.
This is the L'Oreal Infallible Matte Lock Primer, smooths and refines canvas, mattifying
primer, stops shine and blurs imperfections for a matte finish.
Because I'm going to be using a more like glowy foundation, I wanted to use a mattifying
primer just so it's not like too glowy.
I actually like the texture of this.
I thought it was going to be kind of like one of those thick silicone gels but it's
more of like a creamy lotion.
As you can see it went on white and it is just kind of disappearing on my skin.
So it feels really smooth.
I definitely feel like it kind of like fills in and blurs your pores a little bit which
is always nice.
So then next I'm going to be taking the new YSL Touche Eclat All-In-One Glow Fresh Dewy
Makeup.
I tried this the other day like really quickly.
I wasn't like really doing anything.
I just literally did my makeup for St. Patrick's Day to pretty much sit on the couch because
I didn't know if I was doing anything.
But I wanted to try this again because a lot of you guys were asking me about it.
So this is supposed to be kind of like a tinted moisturizer kind of deal.
So I'm wearing it in the shade B60 because I still have you know a tan from my trip to
Mexico.
So I really do like it.
It has like a really nice like fresh kind of like florally scent but not like overpowering
like it kind of like goes away.
As you can see it doesn't provide a ton of coverage but I wouldn't say it's super sheer
either.
I would say it's light medium.
So I do really like how it looks on my skin.
As you can see it kind of just makes it look really healthy and even toned and I think
it works really well with that primer.
I think it just goes on really smoothly.
You can see it kind of just glides on the skin.
Anyways on the packaging it says that it is a natural medium coverage long lasting hydration
oil free.
So when I wore it the other day it did wear pretty well but I wanted to try it again with
a primer.
So here it is.
It definitely looks fresh, dewy, healthy and very natural.
I think it looks pretty skin like.
I don't think it looks heavy and I really kind of like the way that it sets on my skin.
So I wanted to try it again just because I don't know I feel like with like foundations
and stuff like you have to like try it more than once you know what I mean.
Then I wanted to try the coordinating Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Concealer.
So this is in the shade 4.5 which I'm hoping is going to work for me.
So this is their little radiant concealer pen.
I've tried a lot of concealer pens and they always like compare it to this but I've never
actually tried this one.
So it's supposed to be a radiant touch.
So we're just going to try it and see.
I need to get more out of there but oh jeez um.
Come on.
This is the only thing I don't like about clicky stuff because I feel like I'm wasting
my life clicking.
Okay.
So the packaging is definitely really pretty because you know it's that luxurious high
end luxury packaging but I feel like it's kind of taking forever to get out.
But okay.
Now that we're getting her out I'm just going to do a little bit of radiant touching.
That didn't sound very good.
Radiant touching does not sound good to be doing.
I don't know.
Obviously I don't think it's supposed to really be full coverage because it's supposed to
be like radiant.
But I wanted to try it with the new foundation to see if it like is like a match made in
heaven you know.
You can definitely see you know some of my darkness peeking through but it doesn't look
cakey like it basically looks like I didn't even add anything.
So I do like that aspect of it but I definitely need to add a little bit more concealer over
top.
So I don't have any new powders to try but this is a new product.
I mentioned it in my pure cosmetics video they did last week.
This is their new translucent loose setting powder and I have been in love with it.
I've been using it instead of my Laura Mercier which says a lot because that is my go to.
And the advantage this has is that it smells like frosting.
So I mean you don't need to eat a cupcake you can just put this on your face and it's
like basically the same thing.
I wonder if it tastes like anything.
It doesn't taste like a cupcake.
In case you're wondering.
Then next I wanted to try this powder from Flower Beauty.
This is their Light Illusion perfecting powder.
I recently reviewed the new Light Illusion foundation and concealer.
I will add that link if you guys want to check that out.
But this is supposed to be like a perfecting powder.
So I wanted to try this because I love the Laura Mercier soft candle glow powder.
I just really like how it kind of just like sets and like blends everything together.
So I got this in the shade caramel which I don't know if it's really like doing much
for me.
But sometimes I just like to set the rest of my face with like a colored powder.
Then I'm just going to bronze my face really quick.
Again this isn't new.
So I'm just going to kind of fast forward through this.
But this is the Anastasia saddle bronzer.
So then next before I do my eyes I wanted to try out this new brow stain from Flower
Beauty.
This is their tattoo effect brow stain 12 hour wear smudge proof defining chisel tip
applicator.
And I'm going to be trying the shade espresso because obviously I have dark hair.
But I really like the idea of this.
I really have no idea how to use it.
I wonder if there's directions.
Use the angled wide edge of the applicator to outline your brow shape and fill in very
sparse areas.
Then using the chisel tip feather hair like strokes to taper your arches with precision.
So let's see what it looks like.
Okay.
So this is what the brush looks like.
I'm not really sure.
I guess there's a chisel and then there's an angled shape.
I don't know.
Let's just give it a try.
I already know I'm not going to like this.
It says espresso but it's looking super red.
Like reddy brown on my brows.
I mean it doesn't look bad but up close I feel like it looks a little bit too red toned.
Can you see how like how red that is?
That doesn't look espresso to me.
That looks like milk chocolate to me.
I mean it's definitely easy to use.
I just wish the color was better.
Like nobody wants red tones in their brow hair really unless you are like a redhead
or you have like auburn hair or like burgundy hair maybe.
I'm just like not liking it.
So then now I'm going to be using this for my eyes and cheeks.
This is the new collaboration.
This is the Pixi Chloe Morello palette.
So it looks like this and it is so pretty.
I love that this is kind of like a full face palette.
You can do eyes.
This is supposed to be for like liner or brows as well.
And then you have some cheek colors.
So I really am excited to try this out because I like having things all in one place.
So I'm going to start with this cool tone brown up here and put that into my crease.
And I've never actually used any eyeshadows from Pixi.
I haven't really tried much from them to be honest with you.
I have been using their glow tonic and I like it.
I think it's nice but I prefer my Paula's Choice BHA liquid over that for sure.
But I was trying it out to see if I liked it.
But I like it but I just don't like it as much as my Paula's Choice one.
But I really haven't tried much of their makeup.
Then I'm going to take the dark brown here which I think I might use on my brows in a
little bit just to go over them.
So they're actually quite pigmented.
I love Chloe's channel.
I just think that she's absolutely stunning.
She's funny.
Like I follow her on Twitter.
She's funny.
And also she's been doing YouTube like for so long.
And she just got married and she looked gorgeous at her wedding.
So I don't know.
I was excited for her to come out with this palette because I didn't try her other collab
that she came out with.
Then I'm going to go in with a little bit of that black and I'm just going to put it
right on the lash line.
This black is super pigmented.
I like when a black is like a true black you know.
Not just like a half ass black you know.
And I'm doing this before I do the lid color because I don't want it to be like super harsh
So then I'm going to go in with this shade.
The pigment is good.
I wish it was a little bit more.
Maybe if I wet my brush.
Let's try that again with a wet brush.
So it doesn't look that much different wet but I do like the color of it.
Then I just took a little bit of that gold shade right there and just kind of put it
over top.
Because I changed my mind and I don't want it that dark.
To the lower lash we're going to smoke it out with those same crease colors.
I'm not going to add the black to the lower lash though.
Then under the brow I'm just going to take a little bit of this color right here.
Oh they all had shade names too.
I'm so bad at that.
You know what I'm talking about though.
That is a really pretty under the brow bone highlight though.
Very kind of like gold tone if you can see that.
Then next I'm going to try out this new mascara from Smashbox.
This is the Smashbox Super Fan Fanned Out Mascara.
I'm going to curl my lashes first.
This is what the brush looks like.
Nothing like too out of the ordinary but I do like a fanned out effect so let's see how
this goes.
I obviously have it all over my eyelid but I think it looks pretty good.
So there's the mascara all applied.
I just went and cleaned up all of the messiness but I really like that mascara.
I definitely feel like it lifted my lashes, separated them pretty good.
I'm not super huge on anti-clumping.
Some people probably think this looks clumpy and spidery but this is pretty much how I
like my lashes to look so I definitely see the fanned out effect and I'm liking that.
I'm going to go back to this palette and I'm going to do the blushes.
There's a few blushes in this palette so I'm going to take a mixture of these two and I
guess they're called Bouquet and Promise so I'm going to take a mixture of those and apply
them to my cheeks.
It's really pretty.
I feel like a doll.
Super pink but it definitely gives you a nice springy doll face glow.
So then next I'm going to try out a new highlight.
This is Parisian Lights from Becca which looks like this which is a really pretty kind of
like a rose gold color.
So I always love Becca's highlighters so we'll see how this goes.
Oh Jesus.
I love Jesus.
I wasn't trying to take his name in vain.
That's really pretty.
Definitely gives off a really good golden glow but not chunky which is one of the things
I like best about Becca's highlighters.
Wow I have a lot of highlighter on.
They never are like chunky which I love.
I might need to just kind of go over this with a little bit of powder.
So then I'm going to line with my normal favorite which is Iconic Nude from Charlotte Tilbury.
Then I wanted to try this lipstick from Urban Decay.
This is one of their comfort matte lipsticks.
It's called the shade Backtalk which is a really pretty mauve and the formula definitely
feels really nice.
Not too matte.
Creamy enough where you can still you know rub your lips together and not feel like you
have like cement on your lips.
And then lastly I'm going to try this new Revlon Photo Ready Prep Set Refresh Spray.
So this smells really good.
I feel like it smells like cucumber or watermelon.
Yeah it has watermelon extract in there so it smells really good and the mist is super
fine which I like.
I don't like when it's like a really intense spray.
This is really like a nice.
Everything is on.
I feel like I look really really glowy but that's not a bad thing because I used a all
in one glow and then I also went ham with the Parisian Lights.
But overall I think this is like a pretty look.
This palette I would say I'm not 100% in love with it.
I think the blushes are super pretty.
The mattes were pretty blendable as well but I feel like I wish that the bronze was like
a little bit more shimmery with like better payoff.
But overall I don't think this is a bad palette and I like that they have like a mixture of
face and cheek and you can use these as liner or brow products.
So that's not bad.
The brow pen, not super in love with it.
I wish that the color was a little bit different than I think that I would like it more but
it also is like hard to like blend a little bit.
So like once you have it on you can't really like blend it with like a brow spoolie.
It didn't really like blend very well with me.
So I don't think I would really use that again for that but I love the blushes in this palette.
The foundation, I really really like this.
This is my second time wearing this and I do think that I will continue to use it just
because I really like the fresh natural kind of dewy look that it gives me.
It doesn't look overdone at all.
The concealer that goes along with it, I probably would not go out and buy this myself just
because I just feel like it doesn't give me the coverage that I want.
So if you like a really light, light coverage for concealer then you would probably like
this but I probably would not go out and buy that.
The Parisian lights, absolutely amazing.
BEMFACA literally never lets me down in the highlight department.
Then the mascara, I initially really like that.
I really like the effect that it gives me and it was very easy to use this brush.
It was easy to work with, top and bottom lashes but I will definitely have to let you guys
know how this wears and I will let you know if there's any flaking or smudging going on.
This mattifying primer, I definitely really like.
I feel like it minimized my pores quite a bit and it didn't make my skin feel dry.
It didn't feel too thick or heavy.
So yeah, that is going to wrap up this video, a full face of first impressions.
So I hope you guys liked it, found it helpful and thank you for watching and I will see
you guys in my next one.
On Wednesdays we wear pink but today is Monday so yeah.
And this probably will go up on Tuesday so that's not really related at all to this video.
Dude is that a great hair or is this just excess product?
What do blondes do?
Like your hair's gotta be freaking brown.
Mine just turns into ash.
