Hi, I'm Brad, I'm John.
You actually had mentioned it to me a while ago, a couple of times, on the list of people
that we haven't done for a while.
And one of them is, there he goes, The Warning.
Yeah, we were doing them like, religiously in that novel.
That's because we were going to a concert.
Yeah, that's true.
So yeah, Danny, Dale, yeah.
We were doing the concert.
Which concert was that?
Pepsi Center.
Yeah, Pepsi Center.
Mexico City.
Anyway, Danny, Pow, Dale.
They released a live album.
The end of last month, live from the Auditorio Nacional, Mexico City.
Which was recorded in the spring of this year.
It was also, only in theaters, you could actually watch the concert.
So select AMC theaters, it's still playing apparently, select theaters.
The, yeah, I'm reading the blurb on, you know, from AMC.
And they're not doing a very good job at reading it.
No, I was reading it to see if I wanted to read any of it out.
So yeah, it's there.
Mexico City's iconic Auditorio Nacional.
The most electrifying performance of their career.
Oh, that'll be good then.
So yeah, years of tour.
I don't know.
What we watched before seemed to be pretty epic.
It says years of touring have sharpened their sound and deepened their connection with fans
globally.
And now their unmatched energy and musicianship takes center stage like never before, where
you can experience The Warning live, only in theaters.
Probably not.
Probably.
We're probably not in a selected area theater.
I don't think we even have an AMC theater anywhere near us.
If I...
Yeah, we don't.
I think there might have been one in Houston.
I'm not sure.
I'm sure there was one in Houston.
Well, no.
It's AMC brand.
They're not everywhere.
Here in America.
I would say there was probably one in Houston.
But now we're ahead.
Anyway.
Anyway, the song question, because they've released, like last time they released a lot
of the songs, but they've done it with basically, they've done it in a visualizer way where
they've actually done like still shot photographs and performance rather than the actual performance
this time.
This one, which is Automatic Sun, they've released as a performance video.
This is from the fourth single from Keep Me Fed album, which was released in 2024.
So the single came out, I think, in April of 24 and the album was released in June of 24.
Okay.
So this is about the last time we were probably doing the warning, knowing us.
Probably.
No, I think it was after.
No way.
There's still a time.
Yeah.
The way time seems to go.
But anyway, so this is from concert this year.
All right.
I'm sure, like I said, I'm sure it will end up being released on DVD or YouTube at any
rate.
I mean, they released the last concert on YouTube.
Yeah.
I'm sure it'll get there.
All right.
Well, let's check this out.
Before we do make sure you hit that like and subscribe, check out the description down
below where you're going to find all our links, information and stuff that we have down there.
Okay.
I shall hit play.
Yeah.
This is, incidentally, a song that we haven't reacted to before either.
Kind of surprising because it was released as a single, so we would have thought we would
have done it, but we didn't.
And it wasn't one of the songs at the Pepsi Center, or if it was, it wasn't a song at
the Pepsi Center that was released on YouTube.
So, well, that was a while ago, though, wasn't it?
I don't know.
She has one of those such a unique voice that you just automatically know it's her when
she starts singing.
Yeah.
Her, obviously, her own drums.
What was I going to say?
Oh, yeah.
I can't hear anything.
No, the Pepsi Center one was in 2000.
So it's around the time Meow Animal came out, I guess.
The one earlier.
No, it was a 24 concert.
I'm pretty sure.
That was like at 17 or something.
No.
Oh, the memory.
All right.
Give me a second to make love.
Look what you're doing to me.
And if you go to me, will you be my mirror if I try to leave?
Oh, you're so out of reach, yeah.
The way you hurt me's never enough.
This addiction's hard to give up.
If you want it all, then just take it.
Because you got me, you got me.
I'm going to give you all I'm going to express.
Look what you're doing to me.
Give me a second to make love.
Look what you're doing to me.
I'm going to give you all I'm going to express.
Look what you're doing to me.
I'm going to give you all I'm going to express.
I have too much with a week of everything's just an unavoidable headache.
Darn YouTube.
Yeah, it's another one that's kind of actually fairly high up.
i'm trying to my mind is already trying to decide which one which song do i need to bump down
but this one into the top 10 kind of thing
i don't know that's the thing i think they're all so good you can't just um yeah
it is it's like every time you hear a new one it's kind of like uh oh but wait if i move this
up here i've got to bump something down yeah and then i get all this beef in the top 10
no the top top 10 is not there the top 10 is not quite that big it's you know 10
that's going to start going we've got one point five two two point two five three yeah
anyway
the way you hurt me snap a friend off this addiction's hard to give up if you want it
take it take it take it
oh what you're doing to me
what you're doing to me
ah it just ends too quickly
that's why you really need to watch well honestly watch this uh
yeah if we were in a place to have a theater you have to have it in because you know it's like
probably a lot more affordable than actually flying down to mexico actually getting tickets
to see that oh wait this is already in the past so that would be cost even more money
anyway yeah um what was i going to say i had a random thought actually while it was playing
in that third section um danny's vocal at the beginning of the third section after we unpaused
um and i think i've tried to make this with um comparison before and i never actually quite
remembered who it was uh her voice actually reminds me a bit of hailey reinhart um he's
done a bunch of stuff with um yeah yeah post-modern gene box that we've done in the past
yeah her it's got that it's got some of the same similar qualities too i don't want to say yeah
that kind of a similar quality to it if she did a harder version
yeah if hailey did all right yeah yeah that's i think i think that's who
uh i'm pretty sure i've said it before and i'm just never been able to actually
manage to click over the other person's name the um danny reminds me of yeah pretty sure
yeah because i mean her voice is so unique but it's like yeah it's like
now that i say you can kind of see what i'm talking yeah in certain aspects of it yeah
in certain at certain times things that we were after too okay yeah i i mean and i mean
playing drums like that i mean seriously it's like yeah you know and i say it every time we
it's like it's so nice to see a female heavy metal band in a rock band and
and actually playing our instruments and rocking and yeah it's it's not a girl group it's not
it's not well we've got three we've got three dancers who do some singing no but actual you
know a band yeah to be to be young and have that much energy to actually enjoy it the proper way
like you sit there and you see all the people with our cell phones it's like
you that's just you have to have that burnt thumb of holding that lighter up in the air
you know it's just this generation just don't understand that's gotta experience a concert
and and part of my brain is also it's kind of like the concert's also being recorded you know
but usually typically if they're recording a concert for to be released as a film or dvd and stuff
they tell you prior before the band even comes out on stage because i know they did that
well you know the 90s with the Pink Floyd concert i went to they told you that you know
parts of this might be being recorded and you know used yeah i went to a concert too that they did
said that it was going to be used in that video which was just a bunch of clips of just different
you know yeah audience and different concerts and i can't remember what band it was because
i think it's an outside venue yeah yeah and then there again they said it may or may not be it
depends on if you and as soon as it gets picked or not yeah and they and they have to mention it
for the simple simple point of fact of you know if there's shots of the audience they have to let
you know that it's kind of like you know if you really don't want to be on film yeah yeah back
back then when you actually had to have permission to record and yeah and use people's images and
stuff like that nowadays it's like yeah that's what it is i guess it depends on where you are
what look and what what it's being used for yeah exactly anyway anyway now with that we
ramble on about nothing i do with the warning but had to do with the warning but like dollars
that's this but yeah obviously we need to continue hitting them up it's been a while
and we're definitely going to do it so if you want to see those make sure you get that like
and subscribe uh comment suggestions down below and if you hit notification bell youtube will
consider telling you when we need suggestions that you commented down below until next time
thanks for watching
