All the action from day #6 of the Trans Madeira - the most extreme MTB challenge!
Alright, it's day 6, Trans Madeira, everyone has a battery life of like less than 10% but
we have one of the biggest days and we're going up that thing, straight up, I see people
walking.
Biggest day of the race so far, last day, everyone's tired, it's a brand new place,
there's never been a mountain bike race on this island I don't think, so we'll see how it goes.
Yeah bro.
Is it cut? No.
Where's my kidney? Yeah, kidney's at the back of your ear. Okay. What's that there? I think
that is just muscle, it's hip and muscle. Can you feel that there? What does it feel
like? You've got like a cut there. Is it bad or not? No it's not super bad, it is like
a tiny puncture wound but not like horrendous.

Yeah, some of these corners are so tight.

I didn't really enjoy that one.
Kind of fun, a bit more gradient but all the corners had zero grip.
Right, we're at a feed station now, we've done three stages, I had a big crash on the
first one and was like, as you can see, a bit of a puncture wound and some on my arm
as well but it's okay now but I was teetering whether I was going to continue the race or
not because it was that painful but we'll continue but now I'm out the runnings for
the podium position I was kind of close between third place fighting for but now it's just
damage control and see if we can finish the race and still race fast but yeah.
Stage six. We have come, we have seen, saw. Don't know about conquered.
