Roma, Spanish.
It's a circle, a big circle.
Roma.
Right there.
Perfecto.
That's it guys, now we just have to give it gas.
Tomorrow they only let us have one wheel.
Every day they are changing the rules.
But well, it's enough.
We have 10-12 minutes of endurance,
and then one hour of sprint race.
So it should be ok.
In Romanes we do 6-8 hours with the same wheel,
so there's no problem.
How do you see it, colleague?
9.30 at night, here,
having a tea in the street
La Toscana.
And they make us...
Oh, they almost kill each other.
But well, to get the back of the bike,
first time in history,
they make us shoot a mini prologue.
So well, it's mandatory for all the riders.
Here we are laughing.
We are here at the FIVA World World Championship.
La Bettone is racing,
last year with a great comeback.
Two years ago,
from 13th to 3rd.
Mario Roman wants to greet
the Italian public.
Welcome, Mario.
Thank you very much.
I'm always happy to be here in Italy.
Let's hope we have a good weekend.
Always Manetta.
The great champion is Mario Roman.
Let's hear it.
Mario Roman.
A round of applause for Mario Roman.
So, one of them came out,
and I overtook him.
But it didn't matter.
I overtook him like 10 times.
Let's go.
What happened with the award?
I didn't know there was
a Silver Junior award,
so I went to change.
How did you do?
I was first.
Sorry, bro.
You'll see, bro.
It's all like
with rollerskates.
Do you know when the stones are marked?
Yes.
It's all like that.
It's very important to let yourself go.
Which part, for example?
The whole forest,
from the calziner,
to the crossing
on the left.
It's like going with second gear.
Yes, yes.
It's like doing an enduro race,
you don't have to come up with anything.
I think it's going to be...
It's up to you,
as a physicist.
It's up to you.
You don't have to come up with anything.
Also, watch out for the ramp.
The first one.
Don't hit it from below.
But it skates.
It skates and you freak out.
I don't know how we're going to get up there.
The first one has not deviated like you,
but we have to get to the second one.
I think if you come from below,
you know the way.
There's a hole.
I think I hit it.
Did you hit it?
Do you think I'll catch more flu like this?
Yes, 100%.
You have to go clean.
I've seen it on a bike,
and I think that's what I'm going to try.
If you hit it like this,
you go up like...
But it has to be very progressive.
It's not the typical...
You're going to cross it.
I think it's...
It's clean from above.
The problem is below.
Sure, sure.
The bad thing is the clothes.
The mesh.
I think you have to do like...
And hit it just when you're going to enter the mesh.
And the mesh skates too.
If you get to the second one,
there are two escape routes.
If you go alone, you're going to see it.
You're going to do...
The bad thing is that the previous one
You've already broken it a lot.
No, but to the right,
there's a step that takes you up.
But the rest is going to be physical.
You're not going to have any problem.
Yes, the rhythm is going to be...
I think it's a race of martyrs.
And not staying.
Yes, on the slope.
I'm going to try to go and...
Yes, but I can't hear you, bro.
Well, but I'll get down.
In the curve.
If I see that...
Well, good luck.
At that moment,
he felt the real terror.
Oh!
Come on, come on!
Come on!
Come on, let's go!
Come on!
Well, I'm happy.
The first point I get in a prologue,
in a long time.
It's true that it's not a super enduro prologue.
It's been a hard enduro of an hour and a half.
Very, very, very difficult.
It's been a long time since we've been asked
so much in a prologue.
What do I have to say?
Happy with my riding,
happy with the bike, the team.
We've all done a great job.
The organization too.
The only thing, the second round,
we've had a lot of traffic.
We're 60 riders in the pro category.
Tomorrow it's going to be even harder.
We have two hours, half an hour more.
Besides, today the layout has been complicated.
Tomorrow it's going to be criminal.
Let's see if it respects the weather,
but it's still super wet and super muddy.
So, nothing.
Let's keep going and hope you like the images.
I'm going to change.
I'm going that way.
But you were going down well, weren't you?
Yes.
At least I was pushing
three meters.
I got on the bike and went down.
The first three meters I didn't ride.
I think Billy went down pretty well.
I don't know, bro. I saw him very seriously.
Did he skate a lot?
No, he didn't skate, but if you go, there's no solution.
You die. Your life is over.
I love these things.
Yes, yes. I love it when you don't die.
Well, let's go.
Tomorrow, Podium 2.
I'll have a beer to your health.
People are there to
support you.
They don't want you to fall.
Roma is on the right track this time.
Come on.
Come on, man.
Well, guys.
The end of what we wanted has come.
Electric problems today.
A very unusual thing.
I haven't had any problems for years.
The bike is doing very well.
It can happen to anyone.
The bike stopped just before 30 seconds.
Billy had already left.
We left every 30 seconds.
I was in third position.
We had a good day ahead.
The bike decided to give problems.
I tried to keep going, but the bike
stopped all the time.
I couldn't do anything.
It overheated a lot.
At the race time, despite trying,
we had to stop.
We're going with a point.
It's positive because we've
made the first point of a prologue
in the year and in the last two years.
It's negative because
we could have done much more.
I'm leaving happy.
We have rhythm.
The next one is Hispania.
Let's hope things go well.
