Are you suffering from yellowish teeth or your teeth are itching or staining but you're afraid to go to your dentist because of this COVID-19 pandemic?
Or of course, because professional teeth whitening or other treatments are expensive and not affordable for you?
Don't worry because I have a great solution for that problem that I personally recommend.
It's cheap and effective.
This is the newest whitening toothpaste from Sparkla.
Do you want to know more about this product?
If you're interested, please keep on watching.
Hi, Ka-Smiley!
It's me again, Dr. Bea, a dentist from the Philippines.
And welcome back to my YouTube channel.
We're here again to spread awareness and educate people about dental health.
I am receiving a lot of questions lately or inquiries online or in the dental office.
And their complaints were,
their teeth are yellow, their teeth are staining, what can I do?
What is the best whitening treatment or whitening product?
How much is the cheap bleaching?
So today, we'll answer all of those questions.
Before that, let's know the possible causes of tooth staining or discoloration.
What are the reasons why our teeth are yellow?
So I listed down 10 top things that cause it.
Number 1, of course, is coffee.
Number 2, tea.
And then wine.
Tomatoes or kamatis.
Soft drinks.
Grapes or ubas.
Berries.
Chocolate.
Cigarette.
Paninigariyo.
And plaque.
Plaque means that your teeth are really dirty.
All of these causes extrinsic staining.
So what is extrinsic staining?
So these are discoloration of the tooth from the outside only.
The problem is from external, not from the inside of the tooth.
It means that the problem is not from the inside of the tooth.
There's a cause, we're eating or we have a habit,
that's why our teeth are yellow.
And what this means is, if we will eliminate the cause,
or we will remove that habit,
the food that we usually eat that causes extrinsic staining or yellowing of our teeth or discoloration,
we can treat it externally.
So how can we treat extrinsic staining or discoloration?
First, of course, cleaning.
Regular cleaning with your dentist will lessen the possibility
of accumulating too much plaque on your teeth and gum lines
because it will make your teeth look yellow.
So it means that if we regularly go to the dentist for cleaning,
the accumulation of plaque or calculus tartar in our teeth will decrease.
Because usually, when it thickens, the stain also sticks there.
Or when we're used to colored drinks, the plaque becomes more yellow.
So the tendency is that our teeth will also look yellow.
Second, professional teeth whitening.
So this is done in a dental office.
The dentist himself performs or sets it up in our oral cavity or in our mouth.
Third, we also have home whitening kits.
So there are also kits like this where you can perform the treatment or the whitening by yourself.
But of course, the whitening material or gel is in lower concentration
for you to be safe because your gums are being exposed to that material also.
Unlike the teeth whitening in the clinic, if you notice,
we are putting something to protect the gums
because the material used there has a higher concentration.
Because it is also more effective and faster to whiten the teeth in the dental office.
Just be careful when using home whitening kits
and make sure to consult a dentist before using this.
Number four, you can also have veneers.
So this is an aesthetic approach to mask or cover your teeth discoloration.
Veneers are really used for people who don't want their teeth to be yellow.
They want to have a different smile design.
So it's also good to use this and it's also very effective and safe.
It's just a bit pricey.
Lastly, you can use whitening products or whitening materials.
A great example of this one is this whitening toothpaste from Sparkle.
What's the difference between this and the treatments or solutions I mentioned earlier?
Cleaning, of course, it will cost more than 1,000 pesos and more
if the plaque is thicker or even if you use
Professional whitening or bleaching costs around 20,000 to 30,000 pesos.
Depends on the clinic.
Same with the home whitening products.
I think it will also cost less than 10,000 pesos.
I'm not sure about it but it will cost you a thousand and more.
And veneers, of course, it will cost a lot.
But this Sparkle whitening toothpaste only costs for 129 pesos
I know that there is a lot of products in the market for teeth whitening.
There are a lot of teeth whitening toothpastes.
But what made Sparkle different from them all?
Let's find out and know their ingredients.
In a whitening toothpaste, usually, we see ingredients for enamel protection.
The outer layer of our teeth.
Such as fluoride, potassium nitrate.
Those are the ones that are often used.
And of course, material for plaque removal,
For whitening, such as hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.
Antibacterial ingredients such as menthol, thymol, eucalyptol,
metal salicylates, etc.
And for the gum, we have like spanish reg, green tea, and chlorhexidine.
But Sparkle whitening toothpaste uses different and safer ingredients
for the benefit of our teeth and gums.
First, for the enamel protection.
It has xylitol which is proven that it reduces plaque formation,
inhibits enamel demineralization,
and has inhibitory effect on mutastreptococci.
Mutastreptococci are the bacteria that produce acid to damage our teeth.
So because of xylitol, it inhibits the bacteria to produce acid to damage our teeth.
This toothpaste also has calcium.
Of course, we all know that calcium makes our bone and tissue stronger.
Same as on enamel.
For the whitening or plaque removal,
this toothpaste has micro-white silica.
So micro-white silica is a powerful stain removal.
Sometimes, there are ingredients that really makes our teeth rough
because it acts like a sandpaper.
So if our teeth are rough, of course, it will turn white.
But if we use it excessively,
it will expose our teeth and make us dizzy.
The ingredient that this Sparkle whitening toothpaste has is not like that.
It is effective and we're sure that our teeth will not be abraded.
For antibacterial properties of this toothpaste that fights bad breath also,
we have icy breeze.
It is a new innovation that gives icy fresh breath.
Clove oil.
We usually use this to treat toothache or tooth pain
because it has this huge enol content where it fights bacteria.
And because of that, we can have fresher breath
because we all know that bacteria makes our breath stinks.
Peppermint. It also reduces bad breath caused by the bacteria.
For the gum health, of course, which is very important also,
it has vitamin C which enhances dental hygiene and gum health with antioxidants.
Antioxidants nourishes your gums to prevent gum disease.
So it strengthens gums with collagen to fight gum bleeding.
That's why when we have surgery, we're prescribing vitamin C
because it really improves gum tissue.
And this vitamin C also defends against bacteria buildup that causes halitosis or bad breath.
It also has coenzyme Q10 or ubiquinol,
which is a vitamin that also improves your gingivitis or gum disease
because it lessens inflammation or the swelling of our teeth.
And the most important thing, it doesn't have SLS or sodium lauryl sulfate
that act as surfactant because this can trigger gum and skin sensitivity.
And it doesn't have paraben or synthetic additives
that distracts potential hormones that can be harmful for us.
So this product is very safe and I can say it is also very effective.
I am using it myself and it's really good.
It tastes like a regular toothpaste.
Other whitening toothpastes, I'm sorry, that's what I noticed,
it tastes different.
And the other ingredients that I've tried from whitening toothpastes
But this one, I like its taste, it's really refreshing.
And I like the consistency of the toothpaste.
It is also very light.
And since I found this product, this is what I've been using
and I've never felt any sensitivity or itchiness.
Again, I recommend and suggest using this whitening toothpaste from Sparkle
because it is very affordable,
because we don't need to spend a lot to achieve the smile that we want.
And of course, it is very good for making our teeth whiter,
our gums healthier, and our breath fresher.
