Join me as I kick off my first proper motorcycle trip of the year—right here in beautiful Vestland, Norway. This summer, I’m staying close to home—exploring the landscapes, roads, and quiet moments that first made me fall in love with motorcycle travel.

Norway. My home. A land of mountains, fjords, winding roads and wide open spaces.
Filled with culture, history and traditions and solitude, if you want it.
Everything I look for when I travel is right here at my doorstep. And still for a while I've
tried to force myself to look past it, thinking I have to travel far to find something more
exciting. That staying close to home wouldn't be enough. But the past year has forced me to
slow down a bit, to think things through and be completely honest with myself.
If I'm gonna keep doing this, it has to come from a real place, from curiosity and excitement.
And right now that means spending the summer in Norway. And I am genuinely excited about
taking you along, showing you the Norway that made me fall in love with outdoor life
and motorcycle adventures in the first place. So if you're up for it, come along as I discover
more of Vestland County. And then let's see where the road takes us.
Welcome back and also welcome to day one of my first proper trip this year. I am currently at
Birkeland camping in Vestland on the west coast of Norway. The weather forecast the upcoming days,
or as long as I can scroll the weather forecast, for in general southern parts of Norway is just
absolutely perfect. I have no route ready and planned for this trip. We'll just make it up a
little bit as we go. Usually I follow the weather forecast, but now the weather seems to be good
all over the place. So we'll just take it day by day. I still don't know where I'm going to go
today. So I'm going to have my breakfast, take a look at the map to see what's nearby and then
we'll take it from there. Either way, I am convinced that we're going to have a couple
stunning weeks in Norway and I hope you'll enjoy it. Let's get this trip started.
All right, I have a plan for today. Yes, at least the first half of the day.
We're going to start off going to Dala, which is a little bit further north from here. I haven't
been there before. It's supposed to be very nice. And then we're going to head straight east and go
to Gullarfjell. I've been there before, but it is so nice. And in this weather, it's going to be
epic. Hopefully there might be some snow up there still. I'm not sure. And after that, we'll just
see. The thing is, you can't really go wrong in this area anyway. It's just a matter of you want
to see everything. I mean, you can, but you just got to pick and choose some direction and go with
it. And you're going to have a pretty damn good time anyway. So I'm so excited. Okay, let's pack
Yep. I guess I have. What? Oh well.
All right. I think we are in Dalarna now. That's a cool bridge, huh?
When I started making videos a couple of years ago, I didn't even dare to dream that I would
grow into what it is now. It all began with simply sharing something I love. No pressure.
But as the channel grows, so do the expectations. Travel further, post more, edit faster.
And it's not that I don't want to travel more. I do, and I will. But it's not a race.
You see it all the time. Creators burning out, chasing numbers, trying to stay relevant.
But what's the point of having all this freedom, living the dream,
if it so quickly can turn into a nightmare?
A few weeks ago, I posted something different. No epic ride, just a slow day at home,
doing chores, planting potatoes. And your response blew me away. It made me realize
something important. The pressure I felt never came from others' expectations in the first place.
It came from me, comparing myself to others, thinking that success has to look a certain way.
It's silly, but it sneaks in on you before you even notice.
So this was kind of the highlight of today. I hope you see why.
Oh, it's so freaking nice. And in this weather? Come on!
Anyway, can't stay up here all night. Well, I guess you can, actually. But I'm not going to.
I have located a campsite about half an hour away. So we're going to stop by a grocery store
somewhere along the way, and then head there and have an early evening at the campsite. So let's do that.
So what even is success? Is it the views and clicks and numbers? Or is it something far simpler?
For me, that answer is gradually becoming a lot clearer. It's about feeling good in what you're doing,
building a life that feels real, and keeping your integrity along the way.
It's about being happy. That is the real success.
Yes, and just like that, we are in camp. And what a nice little campsite this is. There's not a whole
lot to choose from in the area, but this one is pretty nice. I can imagine it's pretty fully booked
in the summer probably, but now it's nice and quiet. Just me and some other camper vans over here.
With the view straight over to the mountains, and the snow, and all that. And in this weather, it's...
I wonder how many times I'm going to say that. Like, in this weather? Can you imagine this weather?
Look at this weather! I'm going to go make myself some dinner. Have my little adadle here.
Then I'm going to kick back, take out my book, and just chill the rest of the evening. It's like
six o'clock, something now. Perfect. What a day. Cheers, guys!
