Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel. My name is Nikki La Rose
And if you're new to my channel, i'm a celebrity makeup artist based in Los Angeles and in today's video
I wanted to share a quick everyday makeup look using some of my current favorite products
So to start this look I already have my foundation on my concealer and my cream contour
So now i'm going to go in with my new favorite powder to set my under eye and in my t-zone
So the powders i've been obsessed with are not new powders. They've been around for a while, but they are the Givenchy
Prism libre powders. I have I have all the colors the brand was kind enough to send me all of them
and i'm so thankful because these powders are
Unbelievable. They're very pricey. But I in my opinion, they're so worth it. They make your skin look
completely
poreless and airbrushed they're
They're really like magic powders. They're super super fine. They're a little intimidating
I'll definitely give you that like I
Didn't buy these for years because I was intimidated by them. They're basically four colors you mix together
So this one comes with a couple different color correcting colors and then some natural tones like some skin tones
I'm not gonna be using this one. I'm gonna be using the rose toned one instead
So to set my under eyes i'll be using the shade number three. Voila rosé
That was really hard for me to say just so you know
And i'll be taking a little bit of this powder
And like I usually do i'm going to take a little bit and pour it into the palm of my hand
So grabbing a powder puff this one is from krylon. It's a professional makeup brand
They sell these all over the place. It doesn't have to be this one
I just I love the shape of this powder puff
So i'm going to be working my powder into this powder puff and then setting my under eye
So i'm not just going to use this powder under my eye
You can see that I brought it up towards my temple
And I brought an extra bit along the side of my nose and this is just going to help to
Really brighten and enhance that cream contour that I placed previously before I started this look
And it's also going to help so much with oil control. So this is a great great technique
I'm gonna take a little bit on my chin
And then the very center of my forehead
Basically right in between my brows
So i'm going to leave that excess amount of powder on the side of my nose and on my temple
I'm gonna let it hang out and do its thing and bake while I do my eye makeup
Okay, the next thing i'm gonna use is the master mattes palette from makeup by mario
I didn't buy this palette for so long after it came out because I thought I don't need more
Matte brown eyeshadows, but I really did like these shadows all the colors
They're so beautiful. They're so neutral. There's such a must and they're so easy to work with they're easy to blend
There's not a ton of fallout with this and the pigment is great
So i'm so happy. I finally gave in and bought this palette because it turns out I did need
45 more brown neutral eyeshadows i'll be using this shade right here and i'll be blending it on with a 228 brush from azueva
So just using a windshield wiper motion
This color is so forgiving and it's so soft that i'm really just trying to get it all across my crease
and a really soft blown out way, so
I'm, actually being pretty generous too. I'm layering this color a lot. I love this shade so much
Next i'll be dipping into this shade directly below it
I'm using this shade right on top of the first one just to add more depth and to create some more interest in this eye makeup
look
Then switch into a clean 217 brush from mac
I'm, just going to kind of soften those two shades and blend them together
And what's great about this palette what makes it such a favorite of mine is it's
So neutral that you could throw any color on top of these shades
so like this could be your your base and like your your groundwork for any other eye makeup look you're going to create because by using
Any of these neutrals in the crease and then like popping
A bright pink or a neon shade on the eyelid or as an eyeliner
It just gives you so much room to play because it is so neutral
Switching over to a cream product again. This is not a new product
But this is currently one of my favorites that I grab all the time. It's such a gorgeous shade
This is the eyes to mesmerize
it's basically a cream eyeshadow from charlotte tilbury and this is the color pillow talk and
If you know me i'm such a fan of everything that charlotte tilbury comes out with that is pillow talk
So the lipsticks the lip liners, she's got a blush
It's so gorgeous the eyeliner and now the cream eyeshadow is so stunning
So i'm going to be taking this and popping it on my eyelid with this product. I'll be scooping a little bit out
And popping it on the top of my hand
And i'm going to first pack on a little bit with a small flat brush. This one's a 239 for mac
This is a great staple eyeshadow brush. I highly recommend this if you are
You know trying to build your brush collection. This is one that I would definitely recommend you pick up
This color is just so beautiful. It's like a blush tone
It's kind of rosy, but it's more like a moth blush tone. You could definitely apply this with your fingertips as well
But I do prefer to
Pack it onto my eyelid with a brush
I'm gonna go back to my 217 for mac and just really lightly blend my crease
Now switch into a 230 luxe pencil brush from zueva
Taking that same cream charlotte tilbury eyeshadow
I'm gonna bring this on my bottom lash line
I think like the best way to describe this color is it's just like a really soft romantic shade like it just looks
romantic and pretty on
Moving on i'll be using the revlon so fierce vinyl eyeliner in the shade
mighty mocha
So you'll probably recognize this if you saw my drugstore makeup tutorial. I picked this up for that look and I was so
Impressed with this eyeliner. I've literally been wearing it every single day
Since I filmed that video. It's so good
It's super long wearing the dark brown. It's so rich and pigmented. It's just a great formula
So i'll be using this to
Tightline my top lash line and i'm also going to do some of my bottom lash line with this as well
and now i'm going to take this and
coat that
inner corner of my
top and bottom lash line
And i'm going to bring it outside my lash line just a little bit. I don't want this to be a
Super eyeliner focused look. I just want to be like soft
defined
So you can see I extended it out just a teeny bit a lot less than what you're probably used to seeing me do
Which is usually like a full-on winged liner, but I am going to smudge it just a little bit
So i'm taking now a 226 smudger brush from zoeva. I love this brush
I have like five of them because they're so good. I highly recommend this if you
Ever need a good smudger brush. This makes it so easy to smudge out your shadows and your eyeliners
So i'll be taking this and so i'm not trying to create a wing
I just want to extend my eyes just a little bit and bring them out and make them a little more elongated
Taking that same zoeva brush. I'm going to dip into this dark brown on the bottom
And i'm just going to use this to set my eyeliner
Moving on to mascara. I've been loving this one from freck beauty
The brand has sent this to me and I have been using it ever since I received it. It is so good
It definitely gives you a dramatic lash. It builds length of volume thickness
So it also has lash enhancing peptides in it
So it's basically a conditioning for your lashes, which is such a win
This mascara is not going into my makeup kit, which is why you'll see me use that wand directly
I am keeping this for myself. I like it that much
so i'll be
Doing my usual technique getting to the root wiggling it back and forth and then pulling it straight up
So with this mascara, I do suggest doing one coat right after the other and not letting it dry down too much
I think it's easier in my opinion since i've been playing with it
It's easier to just kind of repeat the coats right after the other and not wait too long in between to let it dry down
So i'm going to go right back in and do a second coat on the same eye
Okay, so that's about two coats on that one side. And so I really want you to see like the difference this makes
Before I finish my bottom lash line with my mascara
I'm going to move on to a powder bronzer that I have not stopped using since I got it
And it's not like a brand new product, but it's relatively new. This is the glow ish by huda beauty
It's the soft radiance bronzer in medium
So i'm gonna be totally honest when I first got this bronzer
I was not impressed at all and I let it just kind of sit and collect dust and I just I wasn't going to use it
And then one day I decided to pick it up and give it another shot and i'm so happy I did
I don't know what my deal was originally, but this bronzer is amazing
and the reason why I like it so much is because
It's more on the sheer side. So it's like a really natural
Just like it says it says it's a soft radiant bronzer
And it really is a soft bronzer. So I love it, especially if you don't have like
a lot of like powder bronzer skill
Especially with like blending it just blends on really effortlessly and it goes on really natural
So taking a fluffy angle brush. This one is from morphe. It was from a holiday collection set
So i'm not sure if they sell these anymore, but i'll be taking this fluffy angle brush
And i'm going to use it basically to set and enhance my cream contour that I applied off camera, so i'll be hitting
the very top of my forehead
just to set it and to
Increase that wear time. I'm all about like anything cream that I put on my skin whether it's contour or blush
I'm all about staying with a powder product to really seal the deal and lock it down so it doesn't move
I'll be moving on to blush next and again, this is not a new blush. It's been around for a really long time
I I think like years to be honest. This is from laura mercier and it's in the color chai
I love it because if you know me and you watch my makeup tutorials, you know that I love neutrals
I'm, just a neutral person. I love neutral blushes
bronzers eyeshadows
All of it. You can see it's just a really subtle soft pink, but it's a neutral pink
It's not like a baby pink or like a hot pink
It's a nice neutral pink and i'll be using a very fluffy soft brush. This one's from morphe
It's the morphe jacqueline hill jh06 brush
this is one of those blush colors where it kind of just takes the guesswork out of
Figuring out what blush to wear with like your eye makeup or your lipstick because it is such a nice soft neutral
you can really pair it with so many different eye makeup looks and lip colors and that's why
it's a staple in my kit first of all, and then I also bought one for myself because it's just
It's a beautiful color and I like to bring it up towards my temple
and just make sure it's really
Really well blended and before I put down this blush i'm going to take a little bit with my zoeva blending brush
I'm going to just apply a small amount in my crease
So to complete my brows, I already filled them in off camera
Just you know, it takes a long time for me to do that
So I kind of like tend to skip that step but to finish them off
I wanted to show you guys how amazing this is and this is
It's another one of those products that I
Was super reluctant to buy for a really long time
I even tried it out at one of my friends house
They had it and they were raving about it and I tried it. I was just I wasn't impressed and
I changed my mind. I tried it a couple more times and I love this product
But there's a couple things I don't like about it
so my only complaint is
it lasts
Not as long as I would like it to last like for me as a makeup artist if i'm going to freeze
Someone's brows and I want them to like stay put especially my own brows if I want them to stay put and like have that
Laminated effect. I want them to stay that way. So my only complaint is the wear time
It's not the best. Is it impressive? Yes, but
If it's a really hot day, for example, and it's humid outside or let's say you go to the gym and you've you've done your brows
Your body temperature is going to break this down and it's going to melt it down slightly. So
Sad, but it's true. It's still a great product and it's still worth mentioning and it has still been
A big big favorite of mine since I started using it
Using a brow spoolie. This one's from elf cosmetics. I believe it's two dollars. I love these. I have like 15 of them. They're so
good
i'll be using this and just
i'll be scraping just a little bit off that actually might be too much but
And then flipping my brush i'm going to take the handle of it to lay down and to really flatten my brows
So you can see the difference to you like before I do this
I just want you to see the difference between this brow and this one
it just makes
I don't know. I love the look of this. I i'm all about the laminated brows
I think it looks so flattering and so pretty especially for someone like me who has really fine brows and they're not super thick
This gives them the illusion that they're thicker
And with more hair, so i'm all about it
My other complaint if I had a complaint
My other complaint is that
Your brows stay shiny and I don't really like the look of shiny brows
But like this is going to dry down more than what you see right now
It will dry down much more but they still maintain some sheen to finish off my face
I'll be going back to a highlighter that I used just recently in my spring makeup tutorial
I got this recently along with those other powders from Givenchy. This is the prism libre highlighter in
Arganza or
It's so pretty. It's like stunning on i've been using this non-stop in my makeup kit. I love it so much
So again, i'll be taking this and just pouring a little bit in the palm of my hand
And then using a brush from the morphe collaboration with makeup by ariel. This is like a small blending brush
i'll be dipping into my
highlighter
And just swirling all those colors together
So i'll be just getting the top of my nose
the very tip of my nose
Whatever's left over i'm going to take this across my cupid's bow
And i'm taking a smaller brush. I'm going to use this to highlight my tear duct
Moving on to lips. I'll be lining my lips with the nyx lip pencil in natural
This is another drugstore product that I love. I did not buy this for my drugstore makeup
Look, but i've had this for
A long time. I actually have purchased this lip liner this color in particular the natural color over and over again
It's such a great neutral color. You'll see how pretty it is
And since we're talking about current favorites
I had to share this lipstick one more time because this genuinely has been
My personal favorite lipstick ever since I tried it. I did use this in my euphoria makeup tutorial
This is the givenchy beige nude lipstick
This is a really soft matte lipstick and the color is just it's so pretty and I love it on myself, especially
I think it's just a really flattering neutral pink
So let me show you one more time
Another reason why I love this formula in particular is that it's a matte lipstick
But it doesn't feel heavy and dry like a matte like it feels really hydrating almost feels like a cream formula
But with a matte finish so i'm kind of getting the best of both worlds, but this does stay put very well throughout the day
So it's a nice long wear matte lipstick. So to finish my makeup you guys have definitely seen this on my channel
It's kind of become a staple at this point, but it is a current favorite. It is the milk hydro
grip set and refresh setting spray, this is
Just what it says it sets your makeup. It also refreshes your makeup
I love this either before or after a makeup application or throughout the day to refresh it
I love setting sprays
I'm all about them. This has been one of my go-to's lately for
really good reason
So that completes my look using all my current favorite makeup products if you love this look
Don't forget to give it a big thumbs up and also subscribe to my youtube channel. I'm also on instagram
I'm at makeup by nikki larose and i'll see you guys next time. Bye
