Jang Woojin vs Xue Fei _ MS R16 _ #WTTMacao 2025

Love all. Footwork tested, a quick parallel, fast feet, a lot of lunge, a lot of leap. This is a very quick adjustment. Behind the table, it's the high game, the lobs. Two of them. Little off the net, oh, and it comes down to the ground. And there it is, the counterattack, all because he used the backhand. Backhand has kept him over on the forehand side. But here he finds the opportunity, a handcuffing setup. Yoon Jae-young has a lot of keeping track to do here, of what's happening in the game. Action there, fogging it up to remove it. Quick turn, and he's down the line for the wall from the net. Follows up with the top side spin. Ball and him landed at the same time. Ah, a little flipparoo. Up the opponent. Soft hands, Yoshka indeed. Takes all the pace off and leaves it inside the table. And Jang Woo-jin with the first game in this best of five. He's one third of the way there. Not the net on the table, but the one at the back where the robot is. Jang Woo-jin was moving the wrong way and still recovered this ball. That was crazy. Effort here in the first two shots. Oh man, short side from where Xuefei played that ball. I thought he was handcuffing Jang Woo-jin. Jang Woo-jin didn't just counter. Both times, he won. They were both best of seven. Jeez, that receive. With the body turned, he finds the deep backhand corner. Potentially, of this match. A gift. Woo-jin with the win. Jang Woo-jin brings it home. And he's got his date with the dude in the next round. Xuefei has the answers for Tomokazu Harimoto, but hasn't yet found them for Jang Woo-jin. The younger of the two, Xuefei, will keep studying, keep working. But not at this event.
