Way, way back in about 4th or 5th century AD, the town of Tzartat, which you see to your left, used to be quite a large Greek colony of a city. Very nice spot to Also, we are all of us here very proud of our cultural heritage, of our natural heritage as well. So don't worry about getting lost in Dubrovnik. You can't because everybody speaks at least enough English to point you in the right direction. I would advise you if you ever think you are being lost, find a secondary school child. They will be glad and proud to show you, point you in the right direction and to welcome you. We are, we of course deal with hospitality industry as a tourism, organized tourism as a people. Very friendly and very hospitable. Now a couple of important pointers. First off, we drive on the wrong dimension. Firstly and foremostly, if you're crossing the road, remember it's not right and left, it's left and right. Now the bus services in Dubrovnik are excellent. They cost two euro per ride. Ticket can be purchased either from any any kiosk selling tobacco used. As far as taxis are concerned, they are not that pricey, but this is what I would advise. You can use a taxi during the day.
