These Fish Were Left to DIE!

Dude they're literally coming in with dirt right now. These people actually just left these fish to die. Oh my god that's a clown get it get it. Oh my god bro that was a snake head. What's up DFB Nation welcome back to another awesome video guys. Today we have something absolutely insane. We're gonna be saving fish today. As you can tell behind me there's a lot of machine work going on and this place looks like a complete desert right now. This used to be an abandoned golf course. We've actually done videos here before where we fished I'll pop up some videos here and show you guys how beautiful this was. Oh my god oh that was sick. Oh he's running right at me. Oh it's another snake head. But recently they've come in with machines and they're tearing it all up. This golf course has been abandoned for years now and they're finally doing something with it. As you can see behind me dude there's a lot going on. Now on this golf course this is where the golf course was. There used to be a pond there and a pond over there. They actually filled in the ponds and they killed literally thousands of fish. We went over there we saw fish skeletons. There's more ponds on the golf course. I think you guys know where I'm getting at with this. Sadly we're a little too late with these because they filled down that one and then we planned on coming back because there was another one right over there. We were gonna cast net the fish out and save them before they filled it in with dirt. These people are literally killing thousands of fish and they just don't care and I hate to see it so I was like dude we got to do something about it. I think there might still be water over there where that one pond is. We're gonna go look now. We gotta see. We gotta see if there's fish that need to be saved. So Brandon let's start walking over and see if there's water. Wait do we see any fish? Oh bro the pond's still here. Oh my gosh. Look at this dude. Okay guys this is crazy. I thought they filled it in already but they're going too soon. It looks like they actually started already. Look you see that Brandon? Yeah. Dude this is crazy. As you can see where it's coming out like that and it's flat that's where they're putting dirt and they're filling in the pond as we speak. Oh yeah. Dude they're literally coming in with dirt right now. I don't know how we're gonna save fish out of this one though. There's too much stuff going on here because like we can't even get to the water. Dude I just saw fish come up right there. Look it was a cichlid. The other ponds down there don't have any vegetation so we're actually able to catch the fish. This one it's literally like impossible. Literally all these fish are gonna die. That sucks. We can't do anything about it so I think we might head to the other pond down there on the other side of the golf course where they haven't filled in either. They're starting to fill this one in though. Literally as we speak they're bringing in dirt and they're flattening it out covering up all the water. Whoa what was that what was that what was that? Where? Look at that big wake. We could wait for them. We might do a part two to this. Once there's like you know a little bit of water left all the fish are gonna be concentrated in one little area maybe then we can save them you know what I'm saying. Dude it is hot. So wait was this a pond? Oh wait. Dude there's water. Oh my god. There's no way. No way they didn't fill this one This is supposed to be a mini pond? I don't know. I think this is from the uh you can see where they flatten it out. This might have been a pond right here because it looks flat like they leveled it out. See up there? Yeah I see that. I don't see any fish though. I mean it doesn't hurt to check. This is like chocolate milk. If there's a fish in here it's dead. No no look look over there look over there. Where? Right over there you see like there's a spiral going. Oh my god bro there's a fish. You saw it? There's a wait yeah there's a fish in there. See I would bring them to pond X but I don't want a tilapia in pond X. Guys I think the best bet to do with this guy because he is a tilapia we legally cannot move him anywhere else and I don't want to leave him here because that's literally fish torture he's just going to suffer here and die slowly. I think the best bet put him in a bucket and give him to Dakota to eat or to feed our fish or something like that. Feed our families. But that's crazy man he's actually fishing here. Guys I'm not going to show much but sadly we're going to have to euthanize this guy and put him in this bucket that's literally the best option. As you can tell they clearly just forgot about this one little sliver of the pond. All the fish are just probably concentrating in there and they're going to slowly die. I don't know how this thing's alive still. Oh god dude I'm scared what if I pull up something crazy like an alligator. Nothing maybe I just got lucky on my first try. Big Gunner's luck. All right you guys I brought us a cast net. I'm gonna take a little break sit behind the camera and Brandon's gonna see if he can catch that clown or anything else that's in here. Never would imagine there's a clown knife fish in this thing. And then like slowly pull it in. If there was something there you would have caught it. Oh my god. Bro that was a snake head. All right we're gonna get him in the bucket. You know what Brandon? I think we go take a break get some waters or something and we're gonna come back with a different plan to get these fish out. We'll see you then. Just a little update. It's about three minutes later. We have waters. We have vitamin waters. We're hydrated. We're feeling good again. We got the AC cranking. We're here at Dick's. We decided you know what it's time to get some better equipment. You guys have been saying it for a long time. I'm finally gonna break down and I'm gonna get a really nice net. This is gonna be tough dude. We know there's a clown knife fish in there. A snake head. Probably more. We're gonna go in there get the best net possible and then we're gonna go back to the spot try to save these fish. We'll see you there. Dude this is the best one they had. Honestly if we want this thing to live we put him in the canal because I'm pretty sure it's not illegal because it is the same body of water this is where he came from originally and they just closed it off. See these see the pipe down there? It's just like that. There's a way bigger pipe. So it was connected same body of water they just closed it off. We're doing this a favor. You know what I don't I don't care I'm saving that fish. If we were to try and transport it I think it would have died so we made the right call there I think. We also know there's a snake head in here. Okay this is a shallow end. Keep moving forward. Dude I can't believe a clownfish was living in this. This is crazy. Oh I feel something. I hit something there. Oh yo look at this. Got a little cichlid? Yeah a little tilapia. Sick. We can feed that to the We're gonna throw this guy in the bucket we'll feed him to the fish later. I'm just guessing. Oh oh. What is that? Hey another tilapia. Holy crap. Oh yeah. Now you guys tilapia are a little more tricky than clownfish because tilapia are way more invasive. The laws are a lot more different with tilapia so we also have use for this guy. We're gonna be feeding these to our fish so even though we're not technically saving them we kind of are helping them. They're not gonna sit here and suffer until they die. We're gonna quickly euthanize them and then feed them to the fish later Wow really what makes the net work. Is that like our fifth tilapia bro? All right you guys you know the drill. When we catch a snakehead and we can't move it. Snakeheads. Oh let me get, don't get me started on the laws about snakeheads. Snakeheads, fallopian cichlids, stuff like that. I don't think we could legally put this guy over there because it's illegal to possess a guy alive in like a cooler or whatever. Whenever we have this problem we just have my friend Christian eat him because he eats these things for dinner like every night. He's sitting there like chicken right? Yeah. We're gonna give this one to Christian and he's gonna eat it so he's going to a good cause and he's not gonna sit in here until it fully dries up and die a slow death. We're gonna quickly help him out and euthanize him. Oh my gosh. That's candy baby. Oh yeah. Gonna throw this guy in the bucket. I think this might be the last fish in here. I've been scooping a long time. Haven't caught anything big so I think we've done our job and our work here is done Brandon.
