I'm Selling The Burned Down Mansion… To Buy This!

So I was out here doing a little bit of house shopping. I wanted something I could fix up. I could make it the way I wanted it. I could make it the way my wife wanted it. And then I came across this bad boy. There's only two problems. One, it's falling down. And two, it's 5,000 miles away from where I live. So this village is where I grew up. I went to school a quarter of a mile that way. My parents live a quarter mile that way. I went to church a couple miles that way. I met Linda, my wife, literally like not even three miles down the road that way. All of my friends lived in this same village that I did. We used to ride bikes together. I used to throw snowballs in the parking lot just to cross the end of the street. This is home. Or at least it was. ♪ Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Today, I am Mike who stood in this very place 30 years ago. I'm alright here with this. Thank you all for coming, well it's been sad. Firstly I'd like to thank God, without him I suppose none of this would be possible. On his wedding day with my wife sitting next to me doing speeches and enjoying our reception in this room. 30 years ago this wasn't a room, it was a restaurant and an event venue that actually had two rosettes which is kind of almost like a Michelin star. It was pretty decent and a few years ago it went out of business, the building started to fall apart. We saw it online and thought, season two? So when we heard the Crimble was for sale, there was no way I could sit back and say you know what, just let this thing be what it's going to be. My life is a part of the history of that Crimble. We got married, we had our reception there, of course I want to be part of it's future so we figured hey, we just rebuilt one crazy house, how hard can it be to do it again? Alright it's 5,000 miles away but other than that I think I might be the guy for the job so I guess time's going to tell and we're going to find out together.
