Ladies and gentlemen, most people have likely heard of the Swiss folk hero William Tell,
the fourth figure to feature in the custom medieval legend series. William Tell exploits
with a crossbow are legendary but the full breadth of his tale is one that most might not realize
today. William Tell is widely regarded in Swiss folk tales for his skill with a crossbow as well
as his mountain climbing expertise. As is depicted in the obvious design of the latest release in
the series, Tell took aim at the apple atop his own son's head in a bid to save his own life
and that of his son. William Tell's famous shot that split the apple atop his son's head
was just one small part of a larger event. Tell was famous for pushing back against Austrian
invasions of Switzerland. After refusing to bow to the Austrians, he was given a chance to save
his own life by splitting the apple on his son's head. Tell famously took two arrows
but knew he would need only just one. Alright, so he is said to have chosen two arrows because
if he missed his first shot, his intentions was that he intended to assassinate the Austrian
invader that forced his hand. Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to welcome each and every
