Renovated Mountain Home Tour - Revamped Farmhouse in the mountains

Hey guys, welcome back to the farm and welcome back to the channel. If you're new here, we bought this farmhouse about nine to ten months ago. We've just finished the renovation. We're really excited how it came out and I can't wait to show you the inside. So without further ado, welcome to this finished farmhouse. So when we bought this place, it was very rustic in here. All of the walls were green. The cabinets were orange. The trim was orange. The doors were orange. It was just very rustic. So we had everything repainted. We repainted the trim. We refinished all of the hardwood floors and then added red oak throughout. So the kitchen is my favorite spot, of course. I designed all of this and poor Mike didn't have any color choices at all. So we refinished all of the cabinets. We took a few down. There were some interesting shelves above all of the windows. We took all of those down to open it up and then we installed quartz countertops which are fantastic and a granite composite sink. And here we have our laundry room. It's a nice cozy little space and then it also has an exterior door which makes it really easy for entertaining out here. Okay, we're most proud of how the master bath and the bedroom came out. So come take a look at that. Oh, Wally looks like he's been using it as a trampoline. Walter, what happened? So in here, everything was maroon or it's more closer to red, I think, but the tile was all red. The countertops were red. There's a big jacuzzi tub here and we added the quartz, the new tile, and the new standing tub and then also had the shower redone as well as a subway tile. Now we'll go upstairs. We also put quartz in this little half bath and redid the cabinet. This is Wally's room. Okay, now we'll go upstairs. When we moved in, the carpet in here was 20 years old, so of course we replaced that. This is Memphis's room in here. The boys have some of the best views on the farm. The boys share a bathroom in here. And this is Wyatt's room. That's the upstairs. Come here. Come on, let's go outside. All right, so this is one of the nicest parts about this house. It has a full wraparound porch, which is really fun for him because he just runs laps all day long. That wraps up the tour. Thank y'all so much for following along. It took us about six months to get it all finished up, so stay tuned for some more videos coming out soon and like and subscribe. We'll see you on the next one.
