Poland 🇵🇱 vs. Canada 🇨🇦 - Highlights | Men's World Championships 2025

Poland in the whites and red serving Canada in the red receiving this round of 16 match from the men's world championship philippines 2025 and it's side out straight away we might have an injury here what a block that is one-on-one commit and Canada get a break point a nice little string here on the back goodness me lay on they are just changing the game for him all right they had a questionable commentator in some of their commercial merchandiser serve routine check a service check yeah again just finding that gap between the receivers last lay on free swing spike town from Semenyuk and backs it up and gets a one-on-one block and it's set point for Poland how good has he been in this first set commender more trouble here for Canada well played Semenyuk good up by Elgert oh he's everywhere he's a massive block McCarthy shuts down lay on I'm not sure he can quite believe it oh he went with a bit of a spready didn't he yeah I like that and then I think Leone was just gonna close his eyes and try and make that other ideas oh no way big show gets the better of Kurek under the stairs up perfect pass for Pivshak and Semenyuk wraps it all up the first set goes the way of Poland 25 18 Poland leading one set to nothing in this round of 16 match from the women's world championship philippines 2025 and that is a very good introduction for Kurek into the second set after he got blocked in his last swing yeah this is a great way to get your big stick going McCarthy yes well there wasn't really anywhere else that was going 2-1 Poland that only necessitated about 70 percent from the big fella on the pace on that from young oh I say lights out show getting the better lay on I think show nearly touched his first that is great he was never getting near that once the commit in the middle of that for Canada as an outside hitter so he's got lots of reps under his belt to receive and serve just about will this come back oh that's a great set and just Kurek correcting it all putting it where it needs to be Pivshak handled it beautifully that's going to be tight on the net Leon oh everyone just went because he he could have burst the ball that's a tricky one for Pivshak oh then again Semenyuk with that speed finding the ball curry chases on oh my goodness watching the team here leave that if we side out and go in front we're keeping the advantage here just like that just like that oh there was a moment Canada 25-23 it is one set all Semenyuk with the serve for Poland oh that somehow stayed in play big show back for getting him earlier in the match it just guided that on the angle made that hustling has come in number 22 Leon oh that's a great set oh nice one two Kohanovsky commander can do the same these Polish serves well why is Pivshak doing the job to allow Semenyuk a free swing so he's so tall he really gets through the ball here comes Semenyuk little extra crunch from the big show good serve oh one step Huber had a try again oh Semenyuk taxi for Kamil he's got 16 attacks two blocks and an ace he's got his abs but this looks like Poland taking the point oh curry says not just yet and Canada stay in it fourth set underway Poland take the initial point they lead one nothing they lead by two sets to one had a good serving run the last time he was at the end line but it won't be the same Canada with an instant side out glorious play Karnovsky takes two blockers with that was one of the cameras and then Semenyuk ramrod straight no chance for sure to get past Kurek and Huber with a ball that low you can't then straight away blame that on the set because you've taken no responsibility for putting it straight in the well played popivshchek oh great cover by curry good up commander oh has he caught some fingers yes he has wow popivshchek only had one top serve hanging from Leon that's a touch from commander what can Leon do makes it a bit tricky oh yeah well played big burn big show he did go after it curry will bring it back oh it's near touch against Canada and that's it it's all over Poland have beaten by three sets to one Poland are through to the quarterfinals
