My friend and I came across something I'll never forget out here in the wilds of Alaska. Right before us, a male bald eagle, the very symbol of America's freedom, was struggling, helpless in the raging river. In that moment, we knew we couldn't just watch. We had to save him. She perched above, watching silently, her eyes filled with what seemed like hope, waiting for the male to regain his strength and rise back to the sky of freedom. In that moment, I knew they truly belonged together. She's actually coming closer. He's sharing his catch with her. They're staring straight at each other. They're staring straight at each other. He's returned to the sky of freedom. Today truly was a wonderful day for us. The bald eagle, the symbol of America's freedom, has returned to the open sky. From the raging flood to the moment of flight, I realized true strength comes not only from wings, but from faith and the bonds we share. And today, in Alaska, we witnessed a rebirth.
