An iconic Georgian Bay property unlike any other - 1216 Big Ship Island

Good afternoon, we are at the south shore of Big Ship Island, about 15 minutes by boat north of Honey Harbor. This property is particularly special to me because 30 years ago I was asked to help collaborate on the design and construction of the lagoon behind us, and the boathouse, and the cottage up on the hill. So it's a Scandinavian dovetail wall system, and it's a full scribe round log roof system, and believe it or not there are three large fireplaces in this building. this beach, which is often used for volleyball, is a perfect transition between the boathouse and the cottage.
