Hey, our little friends come and see a beautiful world made by God for you and me from nothing at all with just his word
God made it all and it was good
For God made the light, God made the sky For God made the seas where the fish swim by
For God made the land, the flowers too
And God made the world and me and you
And God said, it is good
On day number one God said let there be light
The darkness ran away and the day was bright
Light for the daytime, dark for the night
God looked and smiled, oh what a sight
And God said, it was good
On day number two, up high and far and wide
God made the blue sky and waters deep and wide
Clouds floating, fluffy waves that clap and play
God's world was growing in a special way
And God said, it was good
Day three, land
On day number three, dry land came to stay
Mountains rose up and flowers found their way
Tall, tall trees and green grassy ground
Fruits and seeds and flowers all around
And God said, it was good
On day number four, God made lights to shine
The sun in the day and the moon at night time
Twinkling stars to guide our way
Shining bright in the milky way
And God said, it was good
On day number five, God filled the skies
With fluttering wings and birdie cries
Down in the sea, the fish swam deep
And God's new world life began to leap
And God said, it was good
Day six, number six, God made animals play
Lions and tigers, sheep and horses say neigh
Then God made people, Adam and Eve
To love his world and all believe
And God said, it was very good
Day seven, grace
Day number seven, the work was all done
God rested and blessed the world in the sun
A day to remember, a day to pray
To thank our God and
God said, it was very good
Light and dark, sky and sea
Land and plants for you and me
Sun and moon, birds that sing
Animals and people, God made everything
And God said, it was good
Yes, God said, it was good
And God said, it was very good
