Shelter Me: Meet Smoke!

All right, in today's Shelter Me, we're meeting a real cutie. Well, Smoke from ACCT Philly loves cuddles. Oh, Smoke, come on home. And is looking for a place to be his forever spot. Wait, I'm feeling something here. Yeah, but Henry would be like, girl, get out of my house with this other dog. Cecily Tynan shares his story. For this week's Shelter Me, Akilah is here from ACT Philly. Thanks for joining. And this handsome and very affectionate guy, Smoke. Tell me about Smoke. Smoke is a super sweet boy. So he's estimated to be about three years old. He was surrendered to ACT Philly last week when his owner unfortunately couldn't afford to care for him anymore. So we are seeing that a lot more lately as the price of things are going up. A lot of people have to surrender their dogs. But from all we can tell, Smoke is such a sweetheart. His owner said he lived with dogs and cats. He's joined the shelter play group with the other dogs. He's done really well. He has what they call a dainty push-pull play style. So he does really well with other dogs. He really doesn't want any personal space from his people. He wants to be getting cuddles at all times. He's microchipped. He is not neutered yet, but he will be before going home with an adopter. He seems to be pretty low to medium energy. His previous owner had said that he is pretty playful in the home. So just someone who can give him that attention and take care of him. He has some skin issues. He just needs some maintenance on moving forward. But he's a pretty easygoing boy. He really is just such a sweetheart. So what should somebody do if they're interested in meeting Smoke? Yeah, so he is actually available at ACT Philly. They're open any day from 10 AM to 6 PM for the public. So you can go right to the shelter, into our adoption center, and fill out an application right there and speak with our adoption coordinators there to meet him. All right. He's looking for more hot dogs. Yeah, sweet boy looking. Oh. Cecily and the pups, it's my favorite part of the day. If only she had like a park for her backyard.
