Who Would Win: Unarmored Berserker vs. Armored Knight? WITH ‪@dequitem‬

Welcome back you womanly women. I am Dekitem, an armored fighter in non-choreographed night fights. And I'm Trollo, a man. A peasant. We are going to fight on armored versus armored, shield and axe versus fully armored knight and we will go over the results with you after the melee. So in the first fight you got me with your shield. I was actually surprised that I had no big opportunity to hit you with this knife tool. Yeah the goal for the first fight was to try and close distance as quickly as possible because I'm so incredibly utterly exposed without armor like you really just feel like you're just I can't imagine actually going into the battle like that you would need hallucinogenic mushrooms or be drunk right in order to have the courage to do that I feel. I was not concerned at all about your axe. I know that axe impacts can hit different so they you feel them actually and they can make dance even in hardened steel. So I should be afraid but it looks so tiny and you're actually not that afraid about it and in the end it doesn't make a huge difference. In close combat you were not able to rip it and push me with it you go full shield in it and that was actually it turned out great in the first half but in the end I was able to to punch you with the fist and get the dagger to to step you but unfortunately out of camera. Yeah I know. Because you pushed me so hard I actually slipped like in the last fight but yeah. Yeah and the other thing that was funny that kept happening is you know there's like the cliche of like the helmetless warrior with long flowing hair we had two battles that both got stopped because he went over and his gauntlet got caught in my hair and he was trying to. It was never the gauntlet. Oh it was that it was that both times? It was this one I hit your head. So I guess we know why long hair was not advantageous. When I was trying to hit down and then hit upwards I hit in angles where I came over your shield and hit your head and and here this would of course if it's steel it's not steel this is you can bend them they definitely hurt and yeah leave some of your bruises there yes but you didn't felt them so heavily on your head because I stopped a little bit when I was sure that I hit it and then it caught your hair and yeah I could rip you a little bit and move you around. But I will definitely say like the whole cliche of like the flowing hair in a battle it's really a disadvantage like that was absolutely that was dicey I even had to pull back a little bit but once it got caught in there it was just like you can just whip me around wherever you tried to go back with a shield back just to kind of surprise in a way not as quickly as possible and that was fun because we were just trying to show like you can still catch someone off guard right like someone may may win eight out of ten times but there's still two times where they might get caught off guard and if people are of a similar build or one stronger even if they have worse equipment they can still catch someone a little bit off guard if they're able to make that move when it counts. I was a little bit happy that you played my game before you don't have much reach but you stay out of reach a little bit and I had the feeling that I now can try to feint to your leg yeah and then turn into something to your head or stuff like that but in that moment where I only feinted to your leg you you catch the right moment to to attack me and push me with the shield even if I yeah should have known that it will come right yeah yeah so it's it's like it's probably a one trick pony like if you do that against a person they'll probably catch up to it really quick it's just like throwing a really heavy cross multiple times in a fight it's not going to work but if you do it well and execute it well one time and catch someone off guard you might have a shot but the biggest takeaway for me was just the difference in the scope of just feeling the vulnerability of trying to engage with someone who's coming at you in full armor and being like oh my gosh I you know I can't headbutt strike elbow kick you know it's like you have such limited options and you know that they are really going to tank anything you throw at them especially like a little axe yeah yes the axe can work but it's hard to find the gap where you can do stuff so I was concerned that you take my dagger out of my hand yeah and finish me with it because the axe yes if you have the perfect option to get under my my arms I think that's the only part where I mean and it wouldn't it wouldn't pierce it would just hurt I imagine make your arm go numb yeah if I don't have mail there then it can actually cut deep of course but on all the other parts it only can do concussions and make me stumble and it's not a finisher weapon to kill them yeah absolutely so what's the what's the takeaway no helmet no armor is is a disadvantage guys it's very much a disadvantage yeah you need that lucky moment yeah even when I'm on the ground so I'm still you're still dangerous on the ground it's like because I'm on top of you and then it's like I'm trying to think of like how do I if I don't have anything pointy in my hand I can just sit there yeah that's it and then you can like after a while you'll probably make a move get out so I need to find something yeah like maybe lift up your visor I don't know like yeah but lifting up my visor isn't that easy there's a strap on the back okay yeah then you have a pin to push it and pull at the same time you need two hands okay it's not easy yeah but um there's a battle scene do you know the um kingdom of heaven scene where um balling um takes a rock or a sharp other sharp object on the ground and pushes into the helmet of the opponent I don't remember that scene no no I think it's in the extended maybe and yeah imagine to to take a rock yeah and try to smash me how long do you will yeah do it yeah till I say it keeps boring yeah I know inside the helmet it will be boring even the smashes if my my head is on the ground I didn't feel it at all yeah I think the most terrible is is when the dust come into my eyes yeah I think the only thing I unless I can grab your dagger it's just like hang out and wait for buddies right if I can keep you pinned like then that's like a victory if I have some friends that come yes you know that's the way to only yes or or find my other weapons yes yes to to get nasty yes well good times man that was fun brave man you may have defeated me with your womenly armor but now we do a man's day we slow boot come for you soon on three
