HORRIFIC Breeding EXPERIENCE On The FARM!

[Music] Go ahead. Morning guys. Welcome to today. Today is Saturday and I have had an eventful day. So we went outside we went out today to do all our shopping and I wanted to show you a haul of what I got. Okay. And I only just want to show you one thing and I'm super excited about it. I told you guys yesterday that I started reading my Bible and suddenly for some reason it started clicking with me and I started like falling in love with it. Like I even has been I have even been asking God to clarify things in my life that I have questions about. Where's that Bible? And then I read the Bible and then suddenly I have clarity. It's like the craziest thing. Let me show you my Bible. Okay, so this is my Bible. I have a few other Bibles, but this is the biggest Bible that I have. And I really am addicted to it. I love the color. I love all that. And I love that it's got these string bookmarks. And but this is what it looks like inside. So, if you guys are over the age of probably 35 or 40, you guys know you can't see this stuff. So, I've been taking off my glasses and putting my nose right up to the Bible to read it. I like that it has space so that you can write in it, but it's a really cute Bible and I love it, but it's really hard for me to read. It's really easy for me to hold and like I said, I love these things. So, anyways, now that I'm into my Bible, like into it, I started looking for my dream Bible. So, this whole last week, so I've been reading the Bible for like a couple of weeks now. So, this last week though, I've been looking up Bibles. I told Sam, "I want a new Bible and I've been trying to look up my dream Bible, what I want." And he said, "Okay, I'm going to buy you one." So, he was going to order me a Bible and he's been looking at Bibles to see which ones that he's going to buy me. So, I was looking them up and I saw and I saw so my dream Bible from researching Bibles is a giant and this is what was in my heart was in my heart. I wanted a big giant f like I knew I wanted a family Bible. A Bible that you can write all your information in. They my grandparents had family bibles. They were big and brown and they kept kept record of all your family, the kids that were born, your marriage, like everything. So, I knew I wanted it. I knew I wanted a white one because I saw white ones on Amazon. And my friend taught me that my friend taught me about some important features that you want in your Bible. And so, I wanted all those features. I'm going to show you guys. So, I went we went shopping today and I decided to stop by this one second this one thrift store. All their Bibles are free there. And I was going to keep going to any thrift store because we don't really have a Bible store that you can buy Bibles at where we live. So I was going to keep going to every thrift store in like a huge area today to find a Bible. I was getting ready to settle for any Bible that I could find. And let me show you what I found. So literally the very first store that I went into had this Bible. Isn't it like it's exactly the Bible that I saw on Amazon that I wanted. This was like the dream Bible that I wanted. It's It's not bad. It's a little bit dirty. It's in excellent condition. See that? This side a tiny bit dirty. I'm going to wash it, but And it was free because this store that I went to, it makes all the Bibles free. Inside, it has all the family information. It has your um marriage certificates. I can copy down mine and Sam's marriage certificate information. It has our genealogy, husband and wife. It has your children's records in it. It also has a concordance. So, that's one of the features that my friend I didn't even know what that was. My friend told me that when you're like reading your Bible, a concordance is like it's like um it's like a reference. So, if you want to look up thing uh Bible verses or Bible things that are about the about the word bitter and you want to learn more about being bitter, then these are all the Bible pages that you should look up that talk specifically about each thing. And that's like such a good study guide for a Bible. And there's it goes so long. Like it's a huge it's huge. Anyways, you guys are probably not interested, but it's just crazy to me that I walked into one store today and found my dream Bible. It's big. The letters are big, so I can read it. I don't have to take off my glasses and stare at it. It's got it's got pictures in here. And the other feature that my friend talked about that she said that I'm going to want are that Jesus's words are written in red. So, all this red in this Bible are things that Jesus specifically said. Isn't that so cool? Like, I am so obsessed. I have been obsessed with reading this Bible. Like, I I when I'm not reading it, I I feel like, "Oh, I can't wait to get back to it." And I've never been like that before in my entire life. It's just never clicked. So, I know God wants me to read the Bible now. So, the only thing that this Bible does not have that I wish it did is these things. So, I'm going to order some magnetic bookmarks. But I really like these. I like I just I like how it feels. I like everything about these little strings. I might see if I can figure out a way to make some and put it in this big Bible. It's huge. It's not going to be something I can carry around with me in my purse, but it's a family Bible. It was free and God led me to it today. It's just crazy to me how like you only need to just say what you want and leave it with God and then he will lead you to it. If if it's meant for you, he will just lead you to it. But anyways, it's happened to me so many times in my life and it's just overwhelming and I'm excited to delve into my Bible. And now that it's been warm out, these bugs, oh my gosh, Sam Sam needs to come out here and spray these. They have taken over. They've hardly been bad this whole summer, but it's wet and warm right now. Kind of dark and gloomy today and not so so hot. And my whole family is watching The Samurai Turn Pretty from the start again. I haven't watched season 3. I'm excited to watch it. I don't even know if I watch season 2 to be honest because it's hard for me to just sit there and watching it in the daytime and I never watch TV in the daytime. All right, who's in heat? She's already been bred, so we're not breeding her again. Oh, is Cricket in heat? I might put somebody with cricket. Huh? Oh my gosh, you guys. You're not going to believe what happened last night. See that little chicken? Okay, so you guys don't know, but last night we came down to do chores. Oh, she is totally in heat. in like an insane heat. So, last night I came down, we came down to do chores, Sophie and I, and it was a little bit later because we had friends stop by a little bit later than I thought it was going to be and it was starting to get dark. Just starting to get dark. Usually, we come down before dark. So, it was starting to get dark and we came down and we put everybody to bed and poor little Mia the chicken. Our goat chicken Mia was missing. And let me tell you, I was so upset about it. Sophie was so upset about it. I think Sophie had tears in her eyes. Like, we lost some chickens this year to predators and that was really hard on us. We lost some ducks to predators. Like, it I got to the point where I was terrified to go into the coupe in the morning to let them out because I was so afraid. Like, I just I can't see that stuff. Like, it's just so hard on you. Any loss is so hard. When you have farm animals, there's going to be losses, especially things like chickens. So yesterday we were out there and we were making fun of her and I said right in front of her, this is her last weekend in the go area. She has to move up to the chicken coop. Um, we went down last night and she was missing. Totally missing. I was freaking out. Sophie was freaking out. And then Sam said, "Don't freak out." Well, that was a dumb choice. A bee landed on through the camera. Don't let Sam see that. Whoops. My gosh. I threw my gosh. Yep. Because there was a be. Anyways, back to my story. We were so upset and Sam said, "Don't freak out." Famous last words. And he said they hide at night and but if she goes inside, and she has gone inside before, she hides in like a a feeder, one of the hay feeders, and she buries herself in there. And we looked in every single hay feeder. Poor camera. So, um, she was missing and she was gone and Sophie and I wrote her off as dead and it was awful. Like so awful. And Sam said she'll be there in the morning and I came down this morning and she was in the boys stall and she was looking for her breakfast. She even designated one of the feeders in there for herself. So yeah, she's okay. So let that be a lesson to you. Don't freak out first. Wait, wait, and be patient. All right, Ellie, I got stuff to do. I'm going to show you what I'm going to do. So, he's watching that show. I really need her down here, but I don't want to go back up there and get her because I'm going to put some goats together. That's the strongest heat I've ever seen cricket go in. I think I'm actually going to get Sophie. I'm going to go up to the house and get Sophie. I'm so worried about my camera now because sometimes when you throw it, it breaks. Oh, I just saw him blink, you guys. He's laying there with his eyeballs open. I thought he was dead. He's not dead. Oh my gosh. This has been a bad season. So, before I go down and get Sophie, I'm going to try and clean out this stall cuz we can't even open the door right now to get in here. I swear I thought I for sure thought that that do that that goat was dead or that pig was dead. This is literally my favorite stall to clean. And it's the first one I do every year because basically you just rake all of it outside, every single bit of it, and then you just scoop it up outside. And I don't know why it's easier, but it is way easier. The other thing that I need to do is get this hose and put it away in the barn for the season. So sad. I've actually never seen this goat go into heat. Like not really go into heat. Come on. Let's see. She's Oh, she's in heat. She's in standing heat, I think. Come on, little man. It'll be your first time. I have a friend that has like all her bucks this year are babies at like his age and we're worried. Actually, she got a new buck. Come on. We should have gave him the little I know. Yep. She's for sure in heat. >> Can I go up now? >> Uh can you wait with me just for a minute? Because if she gets bred, I'm going to take her back out. See, she she's in heat. So, I guess I'm not calling the vet on Monday. There's a whole lineup. Pick our choices. We can't use him because she's pulled and he's pulled. So, >> that's going to suck because he runs in as soon as he can. >> Yeah. So, I don't think that it's going to work with him yet. I think he's still See, she's loving him. He's still a baby. That sucks because I really want his jeans. Or I at least want to see one baby of him this year. >> Stop peeing on your face. >> All right. You say we switch him out. Put Ziggy in cuz I don't think this is going to work out. >> Grab him. >> All right. I'll grab him. He's easy. He's easy. It's actually crazy how easy it is to like switch out boys when the goats are in heat. Like it literally took us 5 seconds to get these guys together. Now we got Ziggy in there and he will tell us if it's time. I know. >> See that we don't This is what we don't like about him is that he like needs her he needs her to be running around. >> Screaming's not going to do anything. >> I know. I can't stand it though. I hate this. >> Then just leave him alone. I know. It's the most annoying thing. I feel so bad for my beloved little girl goat. Okay, I let her out. That was awful. So, she's standing for him and he's just screaming. Come on. Out. Come on. Get out there. Get out. Get out. Everybody out. Oh gosh. Every time I do this, that turns into a disaster. Okay, so I think she's ready. She's definitely ready. She's All the other goats are saying she's in heat, too. So, I'll put them back together tonight. So, what happens is that he is awful. He just screams hysterically, and she's such a gentle like sweet goat. So to her it just feels like so much aggression even though he doesn't like hurt her but he's so aggressive. So so it can mean that she's really not ready yet. Like not quite ready a couple hours for a goat because they're only going to hate for 3 days mostly. But she's in a really strong heat right now and she's probably just coming into it. She probably needs like another 5 6 hours or so. I will throw them together again tonight. That was honestly awful. Like so awful. Like he's just screaming so loud and she's just standing there waiting for him and he didn't. He's an experienced buck. So I feel like he knows better than us if she's completely ready. And he didn't even try and hump her once and neither did the other little guy. So I'm just going to wait. I'm on my second trip of stuff from that stall. Probably take me four or five trips. Know that you're beautiful just the way you are, just the way you came. Don't you know that you're beautiful?
