hello 大家好 so today we are going to buy some food for this week we gonna go to india, korea, chinese, and american american whole food store yes so let's go the best coconut milk yeah it's so much more creamy than the stuff at walmart Jimmy have you ever seen this on TV what this is just a radish right the radishes at american store they are never this big they are like this small i've never seen one we have a lot in china oh really that's really great it's bamboos this is bamboo yeah the bamboo roots they are little mountains yeah what are you making we buy some bamboo roots and mushroom mushroom together 像我們這種生活在海外的華人 這種新鮮的香菇我們買不到 所以就只能買這種 乾香菇 然後這種乾香菇還挺貴 然後再把這個香菇焯一下水 下一點點這個花椒和這個乾辣椒 小火 小火炒出這個香味 加上這個蔥和生薑 香菇鍋裡頭 筍鍋裡頭 把這個水分炒出來 i want to marry you two times when i see you cook in china we call 抓住一個人要抓住他的胃線 means if you want to hold a person you have to hold her stomach first oh that makes sense 然後呢我再做一個菜 這個是三文魚本來是生吃的 然後我們就煎一下 so this is jay's finished salmon can't wait never tried this jace how do you eat this without alcohol hello 大家好 又到了吃飯的時間啦 吃飯啦 今天呢簡單的做三個菜 然後我們昨天去了這個亞超買了很多東西 a lot of people ask me about american daily like what you eat in a week as an american so i will say if you are an average american family and also what i grew up eating you have a lot of pizza that's kind of your go-to easy meal and i love pizza actually so i was always happy whenever we would just put a pizza in american people can eat pizza everyday i feel like maybe what's the normal is it good am i good very good so what's the normal food for normal american family we'll have burgers pretty often chicken noodle soup is considered a classic and you eat that when you're sick and then we have also another classic that probably me and all my friends ate growing up is mac and cheese oh mac and cheese american people love mac and cheese yeah oh another classic is spaghetti so you'll have just your spaghetti noodles you open up a can of the sauce maybe you add your own hamburger meat you mix it all together put some parmesan on top that's your classic spaghetti interesting so i had that quite a bit growing up i remember when i went to mom's house then you will cook traditional american food but you all this food are your memory like your childhood memory right so the difference we noticed when we visited my family and other american families is we have the concept of just making one big dish oh yeah maybe a side of bread for dinner but for lunch usually you just eat that one dish like if you make casserole you're having casserole if you have a chicken pot pie which is like a pie crust but with meat and vegetables inside you just will have that one dish one dish yeah yeah you don't have many side dishes but in china when friends come to our house we usually will cook a table of food like usually like maybe two of the vegetables and some meat and a soup but not a big portion you know 嗯 你嘗嘗這個 我嘗嘗這個 在我遇到你之前 我不知道我有沒有吃過竹筍 味道很好 那你長大之後 你媽媽或爸爸通常會煮什麼 在你家裡 就是一個快餐 在冬天的時候 我記得我媽媽會煮中國香腸 她會把它放進鍋裡 然後把它切成小塊 還會煮一個蒸蛋 我曾經為你做過 把一點溫水放進去 對 然後蒸 那個蒸蛋很好吃 很簡單但很好吃 或是炒一些蔬菜 像香蕉和香菇 香菇和一些乾豆腐 炒一炒 很普遍的中國食物 因為我的家鄉是中國南部 所以我們的食物跟其他地方的完全不一樣 你去中國 你可以看到 你去不同的地方 他們在家裡吃不同的食物 這很酷 這有點像 在美國 就算我們有普通的美國食物 如果你去加拿大 你會吃很多維生素的食物 真的嗎 新鮮的食物 因為那是很流行的 很受歡迎 如果你去北部 你會吃很多溫暖的食物 火鍋 幾乎是溫暖的食物 因為那裡比較冷 你只想要溫暖和舒適 這是我媽媽做的風格 然後 在南部 傳統的南方食物 也是舒適的食物 但是很多炸食物 像炸雞 我們有炸蝦 餅乾和醬汁 這些都是你南部的食物 所以你會感覺到 食物和餐廳的分別 視乎你住在美國 我和Ari在家裡 通常一星期 我們可能會煮三天的中式食物 一天或兩天的美國食物 有時候我們會吃披薩 有時候我們會吃 如果我們覺得懶 對 有時候我們會吃馬卡龍芝士 薄餅 Ari也有時候會煮漢堡 對 或牛排 如果我們有錢的話 牛排 然後 隔天我們會選擇 煮其他國家的食物 比如說 韓國食物 泰國食物 墨西哥食物 諸如此類 對 諸如此類 因為我們會吃一切 所以我們不能每天都煮高級的食物 對我來說 當你煮中式食物的時候 我覺得有點高級 真的嗎 但是對中國人來說 這是很正常的 對 對我來說 哇 你真的花了很多時間 我意思是 當Ari的朋友 說我煮中式食物的時候 他們會很驚訝 他們總是會說 哇 你現在在做什麼 哇 他們也會說 哇 Jay 你這麼快 對 我們剛剛在聊 我們一週內吃什麼 作為國際情侶 而且 這跟 中國家庭 和美國家庭 是有點不一樣的 當我們在一起的時候 我們希望你們 享受這部影片 然後 下次見 再見 拜拜 謝謝你 不客氣
