Incredible Place to Camp and Fish

All right everyone, welcome to a new fishing mission. We are about to abseil down this cliff. There is a cave down there that I'm going to set myself up in and camp the night. And I need to catch something for dinner. I haven't brought anything out to eat for dinner. Oh crap. But I got a few things to go with some fish if we can catch it. And the sunset is not that far off. I'm running a little bit behind schedule today because I had some stuffing around I had to do to get this spot ready. I'll explain more of that later. Let's get down there and get stuck into it though. Here we go. Nearly there. Surely there'll be some good fish in here. Oh look, I've been here before. It looks like there's still a few skerricks of firewood left behind. Sick. I'm gonna get some burley in. Might deploy the burley from up higher here. The reason why I'm running late today is I actually came down here earlier today. I hiked out with some bolting gear because I wanted to set up for a hammock. There's not really anywhere good to pitch a tent here. The last time I was here I put my bivvy bag just here. But it's like it's borderline works and then there's a slope there and it all just slopes away into the ocean. You can't pitch a tent here. Not really. It'd be a bit scary. Maybe you could. You'd tie it back. But you'd need to place bolts probably because there's no gear. So I've placed one there, one there and I'm going to string a hammock up. Anyway, I'm going to get myself sorted, get some burley in the water and we'll start fishing in a sec. Okay, I'm all set, ready to go. Heavy set up is a Ocean's Legacy Genesis PE8 rod paired up with a Saltiga 20,000 80 pound Taz line on the reel and I am throwing on that a, what is it, a two ounce jig head with a big catch fishing I think it's called a livey. It's just a big long jerk shad. I'm going to throw that in, see if we can get anything quickly. If not, I might come back up and rig up some bait. Hopefully, hopefully something nails this. Let's go give it a go. I want something for dinner quickly. All right, let's sort this rope management out. This is going to be my fishing spot down here. There's like a little, a little divot for me to sit in. Bummer. Do I want to back it up? Bummer. That's good. Let's go get my cliff gaff set up down here and then I'll come back up and I'll grab my rod. All right, that's about there. Let's get my rod, let's catch something for dinner.
