What's good YouTube men, it's your boy Young Dub coming at y'all with another video here
man.
It's been a minute since I've been on the channel, it's been a lot going on outside
of YouTube.
Working like crazy.
I know it's not even Halloween yet, but I'm doing my best to get ready for Christmas.
But moving along, what we see in front of us is a Pioneer smartphone integration package.
This has a Bluetooth head unit, single DIN, with four speakers in it.
And apparently you can add touchscreen controls via the Pioneer SmartSync.
One of those good old deals where you go to Walmart and speaking of the holidays, they
got all these little packages and things available for purchase.
So I was like, you know, I got my truck outside, my little S10, I had that dual, I don't even
know what it is.
I'll probably just put it integrated in the video somehow man, but I had that dual head
unit installed in the truck with a 10 inch screen and it was so freaking big and it had
it to where you could adjust it forward and backward as far as the tilt, but it wouldn't
go up and down.
So that thing was so freaking huge that I wasn't able to shift my truck into gear.
So obviously we ended up taking that out man, so if you're taking a look at getting that
dual screen, make sure you got hellified real estate within that dash area.
But moving along, good old head unit with speakers, let's take a look and see what we
got here.
Alright, so additional features in the package, we got Bluetooth, obviously CD-free design.
I don't know if it's a short chassis or not, but it has the EQ, USB, and the speakers included
and obviously compatible with all this stuff, Pandora and whatnot, Spotify and all that
via Bluetooth.
And integrate your smartphone with your receiver.
So I don't know how soon I'll get this installed, it really comes down to time man, like I said
I've done the extra crazy thing of trying to take on 3 trucks and we'll see how that
ends up working out here.
But let's go ahead and pop the top on that box.
First we get this touch screen control little pamphlet here, newsletter looking thing.
And we got the freaking speakers man, it looks like two way, I don't know if they ever put
that on the box or not, but I'm assuming this is the head unit so let's go ahead and get
her out.
Scoot that back, so there's our power harness, or wiring harness, mounting hardware, and
there's that head unit.
So I don't think it is a short chassis radio, or maybe it is, maybe it is.
It actually is pretty short.
So apparently it's a removable face, so that's what's up.
I didn't know that that was one of the features, so I guess that actually is a plus with me
having my little S10, apparently it's an NVH S320BT, obviously that stands for Bluetooth.
Put that over there.
Say we got something else down in that box, let's move all this stuff out the way.
Alright give me just a second, let me get some boxes out the way and then we'll pull
the speakers out.
Alright so we got the speakers out and they came in like a cube style.
We got one, two, three, and then four is down on the bottom.
I'm not going to trip on that because they're in styrofoam so they should be just fine.
But once again these are just some six and a halves, good old easy peasy integration
system.
Let's see here.
I probably should have done this before I took this off the box, but as far as the speaker
features, as a matter of fact, I'm going to put this back in the video.
Alright hopefully y'all can see that.
For the speaker features we have reinforced IMPP cone, polypropylene, double rubber coated
cloth surround, two way coaxial speaker design, heat resistant voice coil okay, and then a
steel stamped basket, shallow basket obviously.
You do that to keep the cost down.
For adding more bass you should get that 12 inch power subwoofer down here.
RMS on the speakers is 25 watts man, 88dB I would have liked to see more than that.
I would like the speakers to be highly efficient, but hopefully with that good old head unit
it probably should push out about 17 watts RMS and it did come with the Bluetooth mic
that I got out of there after I turned the camera off, but yeah, so just a cool little
quick one and for the heck of it, let's take a look at the speakers.
I know somebody will be like, oh man you didn't show the speakers.
It's probably because I don't plan on using them, but just in case you do, let's get you
guys a shot of those.
I give them props on that man, it's a nice little cube design as far as packing them.
It does have the little Pioneer branding right there, your little super tweeter and the quote
on quote two way woofer where you can kind of see the voice coil poking out a little
bit there man.
So itty bitty magnet, 200 watts max, hey come on Pioneer, stop that, but yeah 25 watts RMS,
these are four ohm speakers man, so once again, nice little factory integration man.
Stick around, because there's a whole heck of a lot more going on around here.
Shout out Kyle Powell, got in touch with him, 25 hertz of life, won the NVX bass knob.
I'll get those items shipped off sometime this week and we'll go from there man so y'all
know the deal.
Any questions, comments, concerns, get at me man, I'll try to get back to everybody.
I'ma just go ahead and go it, I'm outtie man, y'all holla back.
