Hello everyone!
Hi guys! How are you all?
Your brother got me a new haircut. How do I look?
You look like Champu.
What are you saying? You get it done yourself.
You even get it threaded.
You come and ask me how I look.
I look like Champu.
No, you look good.
Today we are going to introduce you to a couple who live in our society.
We will arrange an interview with them.
The girl is an international student.
She studies here and has come from India.
The boy works in MNC.
It's going to be a very good combination.
We will talk to them and share their experience with you.
Let's go downstairs and meet them.
Let's directly ask them about the students.
We can't say anything better than that.
It's not only about the students.
We will share their life experience.
How they study.
We will talk to all of them.
We will clear all your doubts in this video.
Are you wearing a suit?
No, I am not wearing a suit.
You should have a professional look.
I am meeting people.
It's not like I am wearing a suit.
I think you should have a professional look.
I have to save my studies.
That's great.
You have lost weight.
I was talking about losing weight.
Hi uncle.
Hello.
She is Kajal.
She is studying here.
We will do an interview with her.
Her husband is not here.
He is working here in MNC.
He works in EMI.
If he comes after taking a bath,
we will cover that.
Otherwise, next time.
He will miss the opportunity to come to India.
Without wasting any time,
we will interview her.
Today, we will give her a celebrity feeling.
We have shortlisted some questions.
Many people ask these questions.
We will ask them directly.
Start. People are waiting.
Kajal, tell us about yourself.
What do you do here?
My name is Kajal.
I am studying in Brunei University.
My course is MBA.
My specialization is in digital innovation.
All the innovation is for UK.
All the Indian innovation is gone.
I am also an MBA.
I did marketing in India.
Sometimes, I feel I should study again.
Let's start with the first question.
What is the procedure to get admission?
Many people don't know this.
How to get admission?
First of all,
you have to shortlist the university.
Where you have to go.
At the same time,
you have to check
whether you are eligible or not.
If you still have doubts,
you can go to the counsellor.
The best part is that
these counsellors don't charge fees.
They charge the university.
You can consult them
and make a list
where you have to apply.
If you have a counsellor's link,
we will put it in the description.
If anyone is watching,
they can follow it.
What are the other steps to follow?
The second step is
to check the deadline.
If it's gone,
you cannot apply for that.
You have to start this procedure
at least 6 months before.
You should be really mindful of that.
Also, you have to check
whether there are scholarship options or not.
Many universities
provide scholarships.
If you require,
you can check the options
which is important.
Have you come here for scholarship?
No, I got a scholarship
from Brunel University.
Many universities
provide scholarships.
You should check whether you are eligible or not.
The second requirement
was for IELTS.
There are two types of IELTS.
One is academic
and the other is general.
For UK, you have to take
academic IELTS
which is a very important criteria.
What is the second one?
If you are coming here for work,
that is for general.
Okay.
So, in your personal experience,
you took the academic IELTS.
What else did you apply for?
That's it.
My counsellor
did the application on my behalf
to the university.
You get a confirmation
in the mail.
You have to fulfill
the requirements
of the college
for the deposit payment.
Okay.
There are many cities in UK.
You have to select
from Bristol,
Birmingham or London.
How did you choose?
My preference was
to stay in London city.
There are many options
like Birmingham or Nottingham.
You can see the requirements.
My personal requirement was
to stay in London city.
Okay.
Many people want to study in London.
Let me tell you one more thing.
The cost of living has increased a lot.
If you don't have enough budget,
you should prefer
outside the London city.
There are many other good universities.
Recently,
my cousin went to study
in Bristol University.
He chose the study course
and came here.
Before coming here,
everyone was thinking
how to choose accommodation.
What is your take?
What do you prefer?
Which website
or which accommodation
should students choose?
I came here with my partner.
We live in the same society.
We got the opportunity
to co-ordinate with a student
and get to know their experience.
If a general student comes here,
do you have any recommendation
for him or her?
Many of my friends
chose Amber Student Accommodation.
It is very budget friendly for students.
You should definitely check it out.
We have already told you
about Amber Student Accommodation.
Amber Student Accommodation
has more than 16,000 properties
and more than 100 cities.
It is not only in UK,
but also in Australia, USA
and many other countries.
I would like to add that
it is very easy to search for properties.
Just go to their website
and enter your city.
You will get all the locations.
You will get all the prices
including council tax, electricity bill.
It is a hassle free experience.
If you buy a normal property,
you will have to install Wi-Fi.
Everything is installed here.
As it is a student accommodation,
you will get many things easily.
You will get many extra benefits
like dining hall, fitness center,
gaming room, parking space,
study room, swimming pool.
If you buy from outside,
you will have to pay a separate price.
In Amber Student Accommodation,
you will get everything inclusive.
It is a very good deal.
We have put the link of our website
in the description box.
You can check it there.
What was your experience
here for studies?
It was a very good experience for me.
The fees are
approximately 24,000 pounds.
After the scholarship,
I have paid 17,000 pounds.
That's the amount
of scholarship that I have got.
You have to go to college twice a week.
It is a hybrid culture.
You can attend online as well.
Due to COVID,
it is almost over.
So, it won't be a hybrid.
You have to attend
the classes fully.
It is good to meet your friends
How is the party going on here?
The party is going on very well.
This is the main question.
Is the party going on or not?
There are many parties going on.
There are many college parties as well.
The first week is
Freshers Week.
You meet people there.
There is interaction and networking.
It is a very good thing
that you can make such friends.
How is the education burden here?
Is it easy and relaxed?
It is a little hectic.
When you have to go for two days,
it is from morning to evening.
It is from 10 am to 8 pm.
It is very hectic for two days.
On the other hand,
you have to do assignments
and personal studies.
So, it is not very relaxed.
But it is kind of hectic.
Can it be a little relaxed from India?
Yes, it can be a little relaxed from India.
If you are studying for two days,
are you doing a part-time job?
I am not doing a part-time job.
But many of my friends are doing it.
They are managing it.
With part-time,
studies are also managed.
So, it is very much possible.
You can definitely do it.
But one thing is that
there is a cap of 20 hours a week
according to your visa.
So, you can't work more than that.
What kind of jobs are your friends getting?
The easiest jobs
are available in retail.
Like Boots,
Subway, McDonald's.
You can get it easily here.
And the pay is
approximately
9 to 11 pounds per hour.
So, it is a good pay.
Yes, it is a very good pay.
Now comes the main question.
Many people come here
to know how to
search for a job
after completing their studies.
Ultimately, people's motto
is that you need a job here.
You have to survive.
So, what is your personal experience?
I had a one-year course.
I came here in September 2021.
Now, I have 3 months left
I have just started job search.
College placements
are not that common here.
So, just be careful about it.
I am shocked.
I thought it would be common here.
In India,
many people get campus placements.
But it is not like that here.
No, it is not like that here.
You are on your own to find a job.
So, there are many websites
like LinkedIn,
Indeed, Total Jobs,
Read.com.
There are many such websites.
You can also check from there
according to your eligibility.
I would like to add that
when I came here on a dependent visa,
I also found a job from the websites
they told me.
These websites are very effective.
People say that
they don't get interview calls.
So, it takes time.
Definitely,
you will get 10 calls
if you do 150 applications.
You don't have to be disheartened
that you are not getting anything.
You have to just keep applying
and update your resume.
You have to make a resume
according to the catch in Artificial Intelligence.
You have to make a resume
and upload it.
So, you have more chances
of getting interview calls.
As you are saying that
your study is about to complete.
How far has your research reached?
How many interview calls have you got?
Tell us about it.
I have done approximately
30 applications.
I have got only 4 interview calls.
Which is difficult.
It is very difficult to come here.
So,
that interview is still in process.
It is still in process.
One or two rounds have been done.
So, it is still in process.
Another thing I want to ask is
that
the package here
when you want to start a job as a student.
From where does the package start?
How much salary will you get?
Tell us about the PSW visa
which is made for students.
So, the new
PSW which is
post-study work visa.
So, when you come here
you get 1 year student visa
and 2 years to find
extra job and get sponsorship.
In between all that
if you get any sponsorship,
it is a very good thing.
Otherwise, you definitely have 2 years to work here.
If you are in entry level,
you can expect 25,000 to 30,000 pounds.
If you have
Indian experience,
approximately 5 to 6 years.
So, it starts
from 40 to 45.
So, you can expect that much.
Do you have Indian experience
or you are totally fresh
and applying for job here?
No, I have Indian experience.
I had 4 years experience
in logistics business which was
my family business.
So, definitely I have some experience which will help.
Many people ask that
they are not getting field related job.
We are getting less package.
Is it okay to start from any
where so that people who
get negativity that they are not getting job
should wait for their package.
What is your experience as a student?
If you are getting sponsorship,
you should go ahead with it.
Because getting sponsorship is
very difficult.
If you are not getting package
but you are getting sponsorship,
just go ahead and take it.
You can wait for some more time.
But if you are not getting
and you are on entry level
then you can start
from 25,000 to 30,000.
I would like to add that
some of my friends
who came here on dependent visa
started at 18,000.
Today their salary has increased to 35,000.
Sometimes you have to
just make a decision that I will start
and then you will get somewhere.
This is just a motivational factor for you guys.
Don't think that
you will get 25,000 then only you will go.
You can even start from 18,000 to 20,000 as well.
I started my career as a 21,000 pound
because I had only one year
of experience in India.
So I thought that's fine.
I just wanted to start it.
So I started as a coordinator
and today I am in a position of manager.
So this was our small experience
We will catch her husband later.
He is still taking bath.
If you want a job directly in UK,
then we will catch her husband.
We will interview him.
We will tell you our experience.
It was a nice round with her.

She studies here,
so she will know more.
We don't have much idea.
We will put her Instagram ID as well.
In case you want to contact her.
We will end this video here.
We will meet you in the next vlog.
Do follow us on Instagram.
Follow her ID as well.
If you want to know more.

Bye.
