ProStar 4/0 Welding Cable

but now [Music] what is good youtube man it's your boy yo what's up coming at y'all with another video here man got another update update of the update uh i'm probably gonna go ahead and get into a couple of things on this video here uh shout out to my man father's the base i just got his package shipped out uh so that's on the way to the west coast um i just did a video on the temco uh four odd welding cable your boy y'all know what i do i'm that good old driver uh so i got enough got inside of another company with the good graces of getting discounts on welder cable man so i'm gonna go ahead and uh unbox it well it's already unboxed i took it out or whatever uh but i'm gonna unwrap the cable that's behind the camera here uh we'll get into that and i'm thinking this video might run a little long i'll probably just go ahead and do some wire comparisons because i ain't got number time today uh so why not uh let's go ahead and get to it man welding cable galore all right folks so what y'all see right here in front of you some good old pro star might be able to see that uh it is by lindy uh so like i said man i get a discount on these products uh so this is some four off welding cable and what you see down here is the um the temco 4-0 uh that we just did unboxing on so since this plastic is already ripped right here i guess i'll just go ahead and pull it open don't really need to conserve it for anything uh because it's welding cable so when i get around to using it uh she will get installed in a truck and that is some heavy wire right there man so yeah same deal uh only thing i will say compared to temco it looks a lot cleaner as far as the writing and whatnot uh because make sure i'm doing this inside the camera uh you can see that um 4-0 tough flex i'm going to cut it because why the heck not all right so what you can see right there is that 4-0 tough flex heavy-duty welding cable um 600 volts negative 50 degrees celsius 105 um positive on the celsius side of there made in the usa uh you can see the same thing on temco uh but it's just not as clear and this wire i don't know man there's always something with temple i don't know what's going on the warehouse it just feels ashy i know that's probably not a good description of wire but that's the best way i can say it it feels like like you need some lotion but this right here we're good to go we're nice and clean uh so let me find that good old end of the wire all right so that's that good old temco 4-0 let me grab my company's end of the 4-0 so pretty much the same uh as far as the amount of wire that goes inside of there uh just depends on what company how they wrap it and whatnot man but i would say essentially the same jacket and whatnot but um yeah i'm gonna give a shout out to my company because it's just like i said i mean it seems like it's just a little cleaner uh the ride is clear on it but since we got um some rolls so this here temco is 20 20 feet this roll of the pro star is 24 feet or not 24 it's 25 travis here see pro star let me get that focus going see 4-0 pro star coil uh like i said i mean it is 25 feet i don't know if it says it on here anywhere but it says it on my receipt um yeah 25 so pro star welding cable 25 feet premium quality yada yada try to pull that all out front yeah so 600 volts will never get to that point but it is available if we need it so hold on just a minute uh since i got all this 4-0 last year and then well yeah last year or whatever and apollo in the impala was running 3-0 let me grab some of that three okay but i got a whole bucket of wire over here let me get that let's take a look at it all right folks uh so i got to digging through the bin here man um i have a ton of wire um i just said screw it i'm gonna move the camera down uh pull this bucket of wire that i got over here because i have a ton of wire man uh so first things first um i tried to set the smaller wire on top of the um the bucket or whatever uh so we have this sky-high car audio some of their uh four gauge uh obviously ofc hopefully y'all can see that down there uh i don't know how long how long ago i bought this blue wire i don't i can i don't know i can't tell you the last time i bought four gauge i guarantee it had to be it's this wire the lime green the blue all of this is a couple of years old uh but four gauge compared to four ohms yeah imagine that if you're working with this and your lady cheats on you with somebody with this you ain't coming home no more so go bigger go home but yeah so we got some four gauge ofc uh compared to the four odds i did find this uh this is a old uh piece of that white for all that i had uh from the white tahoe uh so this wire here i believe is two years old so you can't really see it other than jacket comparison uh but yeah so the white 4-0 is good to go as far as the welding cable all the popular sizes and whatnot and just for the heck of it i won't use this one but i got this um zero gauge nvx silver 10 wire you already know i still got the discount code going with them so definitely grab some of that wire uh but hopefully you can see that comparison down there uh one odd versus the 4-0 uh this is this 4-0 is pro star once again this is temco and this temple is supposedly it's supposed to be flexible but man that stuff is not working with your boy here try to get a nice side-by-side comparison right there so yeah there is a ton of wire uh um as far as the gauges and whatnot a ton of wire out there available to us uh like i said man since i'm going i got another tahoe uh god willing i beat the fish out of that truck like i plan on doing uh but yeah since we're doing wire let's just throw it all in here we got this down for sound obviously this has been used um this is super flex i don't know if is i'm gonna go with superflex because that's what it says on there uh i don't know if this is the part of the certified bass head or if all of that uh cca or whatnot but more of that and let's see the red one come first of green looks like red we have this well it's been scratched off it's gp audio this is brand new wire hopefully we'll use this part of it hopefully y'all can see that this is some gp audio zero gauge and move this out of the way once again i'll try to compare this to the mvx wire so that's the only thing man i don't know how many strands is in this gp car audio wire uh even though we all know uh it's basically rebranded welding cable and we have this big deal here the sky high uh zero gauge ofc wire uh this is some lime green i just bought this not too long ago maybe like end of last year so i would say that probably ranks right there with the gp car audio wire temco 4-0 still got that major difference and just for the heck of it y'all know i started it uh dibbling and dabbling in some cca uh still never used it got the purple and the blue the blue there i'll set this stuff off to the side because i'm still since i got all this wire man i kind of want to do a comparison and sunday fun day since i'm just down here doing stuff man i figure i might as well just put it on video and this is one hell of a comparison that i definitely want to do give me just a moment all right this is the prv double lock gauge uh so this is supposed to be 2-0 but y'all know 2-0 is essentially 4-0 and welding cable so let me know what y'all think about that man would you go with the temco 4-0 or the prv uh double lot uh i will say this this prv is a whole heck of a lot more flexible uh the jacket looks better because it's matte black um but yeah let me keep going here this is the prv uh zero gauge hopefully y'all can see it up there but my hands getting lost in that exposure but that is zero gauge prv and let's see more prv to get out the way this is more of the 2o and here we are finally 3 odd welding cable all right obviously that's one of the used strands let me grab one of these here all right come on girl so i don't know you know that scissor right there i don't know it's very faint hopefully y'all can see that so this is the 3-0 welding uh cable of temco double lot prv and where's that for all all right so temko 40 double up prv temco 30. temco prv temko 3 oh man so i was going to go back to the 3-0 just say screw it because once again it's all rated for 600 volts we're not ever going to get to that uh as far as using that in the car man but um i just wanted to have some major power available because i still got the wolf from amp uh the aw 9k and i i'm gonna abuse it brutality don't you think shocking yeah well that was nothing jerry seinfeld versus newman abuse it [Laughter] yeah big boy abuse so and then we got this uh this is way back from one of my malibu's i think one of my white ones it's very faint uh but it's 2 welding cable y'all probably can't see that but i can promise you that says 2 welding cable right there um this is when i first started to make that transition from buying uh stuff like this here this sky high car audio wire and saying you know what for my long runs i'm definitely going welding cable and that's what i've been doing ever since uh because for the price you can't go wrong with it and uh i mean look at that you got your 4-0 welding cable you can't go wrong as far as the strands of wire the abuse that it's able to take some of this wire like this here i've sold a lot of it uh but when i did have it i did use it in multiple builds uh so no complaints when it comes to and this is that royal excellent hopefully y'all can see that this is
