Vintage watches 1968 Omega speedmaster ref 145.022-68

Hey how it goes, it's Jimmy here and I've got this 1968 Megaspeedmaster to show you. It's a reference 145022-68 and it is about as mint as they come. I'm very proud of this watch. It is 100% original, unmolested. It's on its original stretch link, flat link bracelet. I've got it resting on my Moonwatch Only book. This is the same reference watch on this page. This is the caliber 861. So this watch is a transitional model. It's the first Speedmaster with the caliber 861 but it has the same dial as the previous model with the caliber 321 movement. It's quite unique because even though the dial is the same looking, it's actually a unique dial that can only go into this watch because the feet of the dial will only fit on the 861 movement. So I think it's hard to hard watch to be faked because you can't get a dial out of a 321 and fit it onto the 861. It won't fit. Anyway as I was saying, it is all original. It's got the original plexiglass, dial's original, handset's all original, dot over 90 bezel, crown and pushers original. It is unpolished. Now there is one thing that you can distinguish between, difference between this and the previous model is I've got the previous one here. So this has got the 321 movement. The chronograph second hand is different. On the previous one it has like a teardrop counterbalance and on this one it's sort of a triangular shape. So that's the probably one of the quickest ways to tell the difference. Anyhow, I'll just move this one out of the way. I'll show you guys the bracelet. I left that sticker on there when I bought it. It apparently wasn't for sale but I ended up acquiring it so I'm very happy about that. Yeah it's just gorgeous. I really really love this watch. I'm just a bit hesitant to wear it though. I don't want to mark it. That's why I tend to wear this one. Don't have to worry about marking it. It's got plenty of marks on it already. Okay guys I hope you enjoyed that.
