Sundown Audio SFB-1000 Unboxing

What's good YouTube man, it's your boy Young Dub coming at y'all with another video. Uh, good morning, happy Saturday. Hoping everybody's having a good start to the weekend. Uh, this is one that's going to make a lot of people happy. Um, this is going to be one out to the fanboys, the nuthuggers, whatever you want to call them, man. I know I've been saying for a long time, uh, that I wasn't going to try, um, products from Sundown. Uh, nothing against them. It was more or less the fanboys, man, but they didn't hit me with some that I had to try out. Uh, this is something I wanted to get a little while back, uh, for down for sale, but he's quickly sold out. Uh, so I had to go to, uh, Wolfers, et cetera on eBay. And let me get this out here. As a matter of fact, I'll just flip the box up. Hopefully y'all can see that, man. I went ahead and grabbed the Sundown SFB 1000, man. Um, I've been keeping track on these, uh, via the, I think that was Sundown official, uh, YouTube channel with Derek Haddock. I think his last name. Um, when they dropped the, I think it was the three K and the AK or whatever it was, I think maybe the AK or the three K, whichever one was the first one that came out, man, I started paying attention to these and, um, had to hop on, uh, Sundown's Facebook page or whatever, man. And I started seeing the lineup. They have the 1000, the 1500 to the 2000 and, uh, the 200.4, the 500.4, man. So, um, y'all know me, man with the amazing highs last year that I did in Malibu, I went all crescendo. Uh, I just did unboxing of my crescendo PWX 10s, uh, still going to run the crescendos in my rear doors, uh, for 2020. And I'm going to use the S2 amps to go along with their speakers. However, uh, everything else that I have is DS18. And, um, when it comes to the build of these amps, I like the way that these are built, man. So, um, I guess I'll try to get a close in on the ratings here. Like I said, man, Derek does these on, uh, Sundown unofficial on his channel. Um, and there was a, um, they did a dyno on this. So, um, I think it did like 1400 watts. It did. Yes, on there. So 1400 watt certified, try to get that on there so y'all can see it without the glare. Uh, but let's unbox this Joker and take a look at it, man. So based on the box, uh, it's pretty small. So let's see if that's accurate as far as, uh, the amp itself. All right, that's the box open. So it comes with a little, little sundown thing. I know they said they had a sundown audio and I guess they cut them in half to, uh, I guess, please the customers that usually rock with them. So yeah, so it comes with that, uh, it comes with this here, um, cable for the bass knob comes with the bass knob. Let's take a look at that. So she's metal has a power and clipping indication, man. So that's what's up. Um, I'm not going to use this for base, man. I'm going to use this on my, uh, DSL speaker. So probably won't use the knob, but let's get that amp out. Comes with your mounting hardware and some Allen keys. This thing is extremely small, man. This is crazy. So there you go, man, 2020. Now you can hold a thousand Watts in your hand. Let's take a look at it, man. Let's see if I can zoom in on her. So as far as, uh, RCA, there are Tiffany style RCA, but there's an input and output. Um, I might use, uh, splitters on that just to make sure I know it's a model block amp, but still I want to make sure, uh, sometime when signals fade or not signals, but the, um, the audio on a song, sometimes they go left to right. And that's why a lot of guys trip about using these because of stereo imaging. Uh, I'll have that on a crescendos. Um, didn't have stereo imaging last year. Sounded great to me. So I'm not going to trip about it this year either. Uh, but I'll probably use splitters on that just to be on the safe side, man. But y'all see it. Uh, she has, she'll focus. Here she goes. So you see the crossover, you got the high, the low, uh, you got your gain, your level, obviously where the remote now would go. And they said, these are oversight, oversized, a gauge, uh, speaker inputs. And then you got your power, your clipping, your protection lights, those flip her over nothing crazy on this side, other than your, um, your power remote ground. So I know most of the focus is going to be on this side of the amp. I want to hopefully get that in there for people to see, man. Cause I know, um, I was a JP down for sound. He did, um, in-depth look on a man, but sometime when you're a person like me, you want to pay attention to the settings and things like that, man. So hopefully I can get that in there for y'all where the glare is not too bad. So if I can, maybe that might be too close and she's not finding it, but hopefully right there, maybe that'll, that'll help y'all get a good look at it, man. So there it is. Um, yeah, I went ahead and decided to go ahead and try a sundown sundown audio amplifier. I know this is FSB, uh, clearly y'all see it on the box. Um, I don't know, somewhere it says made in China. These are Chinese made amps. Obviously they're going along with tar amps and stetsom and Tapano going with the full bridge design. Yes. Like they've been saying it's not exclusive to Brazilian, but obviously when you think of a full bridge design, you think Brazilian amps. So this is the sundown full bridge 1000. Uh, this will be going on my front doors. Um, maybe one or two more of these coming along. Uh, I'll have to see how this one performs and, uh, we'll go from there. So yeah, your boy on dub decided to go ahead and give sundown a try out, man. We'll see what happens here and see if she's good to go. I'll see y'all know the deal, man.
