Last year I went black and lime green for my color scheme well this year the black stays but white will be the counterpart. This big boy cable should be plenty for what I need in my new build featuring two Resilient Sounds 12 inch subwoofers.

What's good YouTube, it's your boy Young Dub coming at y'all with another one.
Just doing an update on the channel.
Like I said, I've been having some stuff
sit around for a little while man, so I figure I might as well just go ahead and get up and
get to unboxing some of this stuff man, just
trying to get motivated. I've been chilling out on YouTube for a little bit man, so that does help motivate me to get going.
Try to get up and get going on a new build. It's a 2020 deal. I mean, it's November now, so
everything that I'm gathering at the moment is for the 2020 build in a Tahoe.
Yesterday I did do an unboxing of those DS18 EXL six and a halves.
If y'all check that video out, y'all know it came. One of them was perfectly fine,
the other one came busted up as far as the basket. Whoever the seller was, Max A1 on eBay
decided to use the actual boxes that the speakers come in and just wrap tape around them and send them in the mail.
That's not smart, so
this here is for some welding cable. I've been the type of dude, sky-high car audio,
GP car audio,
new concepts,
full tilt. I just got some in there speaker wire. I haven't used it yet, but as far as car audio,
I've used pretty much everything except for
Certified Basshead, which is a JP, down for sound.
Stereo wire, I haven't seen it in person, haven't yet to touch it, but other than that,
when it comes to the cable that I like to run to the car, I usually like to stick with welding cable.
It's just, to me, is the way they wrap it as far as the jacket on it,
and then it has like another protective layer inside the jacket, man, it's flawless.
So, this is some 4-0 cable, and the reason why I've been talking,
the way this cable, this is 4-0 welding cable.
4-0 welding cable. It's not speakers, but it came packed like this.
I'm not gonna be able to tilt it down because the table is not gonna be strong enough to hold it, but look at this.
Welding cable, y'all. This is a product that you can pretty much smash
I've ran this stuff under the car for years, haven't had any issues with it,
but welding cable came packed to good graces, man. This is crazy.
I got welding cable packed with more cardboard and protection than some doggone EXL speakers did, man.
And this here,
it's some heavy stuff.
Hopefully, I probably ain't gonna be able to see that. Let me see if I can find the end of it.
This is 25 feet, so it is rather hefty.
I don't see anywhere where I can grab a part of it. Let's see.
Here we go.
I'm still not liking it.
Here she is. So, this is some 4-0
welding cable
from Royal Exling.
600 volts.
I'll never be able to put that many volts through the welding cable, especially for a 12-volt system, man.
But this is gonna be part of the wire that's gonna go through the car.
Well, the truck. It's gonna be part of the wire that goes to the truck from the front battery to the rear
battery. Batteries, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with that yet, man, but
it's a work in progress.
I'll go ahead and say right now, I'm probably giving myself till
Memorial Day weekend to get the truck up and running, get her up and ready.
God willing, no things, no, um...
I don't foresee anything that's gonna
give me any hiccups as far as that debut time.
Hope that that's accurate. It always seems like something happens.
But God willing, I can go ahead and get that, set that as the debut date.
I got a lot of work to do because, I mean, keeping honest, I ain't did a damn thing.
I still got that, um, that dual stereo in the deck or in a dash and, um...
I guess I'll just be waiting to see what Pioneer, or like I say, even possibly Kenwood drops, man.
But just doing this as an update. Like I said, this is 25 feet
of 4-0 welding cable, and it came packed like it was some speakers. Like they got all of it. They had all of this
on top of the, uh, the wiring. Had these, I don't, y'all probably hear them or seen those little parts falling down.
Had all of this little cut up...
Had all these little cut up pieces in the middle of the cable that I guess to keep it as a perfect circle.
So shout out to...
Real excellent. I'm not even sure who the seller is on this one, but shout out to them for packing welding cable.
Like it's a high commodity, which it is, but I'm, like I said, at the same time, I've ran this stuff under a car.
I've ran this stuff under multiple vehicles.
Transferred them from one vehicle to another and haven't had any issues with it, man.
So, uh, shout out to that seller for packing this like they should have done the DS-18 speakers, but
sooner or later eBay will hit me back and I'll get the return on those.
Send those back, and I'm not gonna trip over it because I'm gonna go a little bit bigger, so...
We'll see what we can do this time around, man. Like I said, I haven't, I haven't cut into the truck.
I haven't done anything but put that dual in there because it had the factory stereo, which was cool.
I had a six-disc CD changer, and I had to go find some CDs from God knows what year, so...
Had to get that deck out of there.
Pioneer would have been my first choice if she would have, I don't know, whatever the hell happened, if it wouldn't have
zapped out on me. I'd still roll with the 8200, but like I said, we'll figure that out early 2020, so...
Stay tuned.
I guess at this point, it'll be more unboxing,
probably walkthrough videos, things like that, man. It's just, it's cold, so...
There'll be more things to come as far as
pulling stuff out of boxes and going from there, man, so...
Any questions, comments, concerns? Go ahead and hit your boy up, man. I try to get back to everybody.
It may take a minute, but I will more than likely hit back and reply to your comment.
I'm thinking giveaway around...
Thanksgiving.
So, I got stuff...
I got stuff.
I'll put it that way, but I got stuff.
So, let me figure out, I guess, kind of get to the drawing board, figure out what I'm gonna do with this truck moving forward,
and I'll go from there as far as seeing what I got laying around that I'm cool with shipping out the door and going from there, man, so...
It's your boy, Young Dub. Y'all have a good one. Stay positive. I'm out of here.
