Look at that thing. That thing is massive. Awesome.
These are ghost peppers. They're super hot. Don't mess with these.
Check out these chocolate habaneros. Awesome. Wow. What an amazing harvest this year.
Wow.
Oh man, this is a nice one. This has got to be the biggest tomato I've ever grown.
Look at the size of this thing. That's crazy. Absolutely beautiful.
Oh man, magnificent. That's a nice one. It's just insane the harvest this year. It's pretty nice.
This is one of my favorite varieties of cherry tomatoes to grow.
It's very prolific and very sweet. All right, so that looks like that's it for this plant.
Hi baby bell. Oh, she sees something. No, no, don't kill it. Don't kill it. No. Okay,
I'm going to take her in after I finish this so she doesn't kill that little mole or mouse.
I think it was a mouse. No, baby. Oh, look at it. Oh, that's a cute little guy. Oh,
oh, buddy. Oh, poor buddy. What happened to him? I won't let her kill you. Don't worry, kitty.
This plant produced so many tomatoes that it fell over, got super heavy, and just took a tumble.
Nine feet tall sunburst plant. Oh man, guys, I got to go inside and get a new bowl because
these two bowls I have are already getting filled to the brim with tomatoes.
Oh, that's fiery right there. This thing is going to be absolute fire. These are the super sweet
100 cherry tomatoes. Super beautiful, and they taste even better. Oh yeah, we got two nice beef
steaks. Actually, more than two. Ready to pick. Beautiful. This variety is called yellow pear.
It's a really cool variety. It ripens to a nice bright yellow color, and they're just absolutely
gorgeous cherry tomatoes. This super sweet 100 plant right here got so top heavy, it just fell
over. So next year, I'm going to need to install some more sturdy steaks for my tomato plants.
Still lots of beautiful tomatoes on here though. Oh, a nice big cucumber here. Let's pick this one
stunning. It's honestly something I would see in a dream, this plant right here. The plants don't
look overly healthy right now, but that's because it's later in the season. This is the mother-in-law
habanero. It ripens to a nice brown color, and this is the first time I've grown this variety.
It's pretty neat because it's the color of chocolate,
and I've tasted a piece before, and it actually tastes pretty good. It's pretty hot though.
but the other ones on the plant do. So I think it was just that first one
that just didn't form perfectly. Ha ha! This is amazing.
Looks to me like this plant is about
eight feet tall right now, and it still has over a month of growing left to do. So by the end of
season, I think it's going to be well over the top of this 10 foot tall tomato cage.
Time to harvest some super hot peppers.
So today I'm going to be doing a harvest of my pumpkins.
All right, so there's the pumpkin. The stem looks really cool in my opinion,
and also it prevents the pumpkin from rotting, and also it's a good handle for
when I'm trying to carve this for Halloween. We're going to be cutting it off and seeing how the
pumpkin looks when it's stood upright. All righty, so my dad already stole some of these
yellow pears, but they don't really look like yellow pears. They look like a cross or something.
See, they're not pear-shaped, but they are the same color, so maybe it's just bad seed I got.
Yeah, I'm sure this will taste good. There's a cucumber right there, but
it's a little too small to pick, so I'm going to leave it on for a bit longer.
This is a chocolate hob that I grew in the ground, and it didn't produce much. I only got a few
peppers off it, but I'll take what I can get. I have so many ghost peppers. Hopefully my garden
isn't haunted. Look what we got here. Yet another ghost pepper plant. One of the things that I love
about gardening is that it's a very rewarding hobby, and anyone can do it. One of the things
I love about gardening is that anyone can do it. It doesn't matter what your income is,
how much you make, how old you are, you know, how smart you are. You don't have to be a genius to
grow a garden. It's not rocket science, and you can be as smart about it or as dumb about it as
you want, and you can still have great success and great fun with it. So I think gardening is
just one of the best hobbies out there. This one did pretty well. Peppers did not fully ripen,
This is a pickling cucumber called County Fair Hybrid. This one got too big. It's probably not
that edible right now, but I'll pick it anyway. This is more about the size what you want.
A nice small cucumber. You can use these for pickling. That's what they're meant for, but
sometimes I just eat them fresh like this. Can you hear that crunch? Delicious.
This is an orange habanero plant. I grew it from seed, and it's not overly productive,
but as you can see, we do have some peppers on it. So these ones are actually ripe, so I'm going
to pick them. There we go. There's one, and there's two nice little habaneros. Nice little cluster of
tomatoes here for me. Pretty nice. Some sun golds. Beautiful. This sun gold plant is a volunteer,
so I actually didn't plant this one. It just grew, and I just let it grow. So
it must have been from last year's sun golds. This variety right here is called Big Beef. It's
a beefsteak variety. As you can see, rather large tomatoes. So this is actually a hybrid variety,
which means that it's pretty disease resistant, and it's very productive, very vigorous. As you
can see, I've got probably like... Dad, what's making noise? It's just amazing. It wows me every year,
just how many tomatoes I get. So this is what the black cherry tomato looks like. As you can see,
it looks really pretty. It's got this nice long dark green calyx, and I think it would be a great
addition to any salad, or it's also great for snacking just right off the plant.
