Finally completed my rear deck and it sounds amazing but I need more from my horns so I pulled the trigger on these DS18 drivers. They're rated at 300 watts rms and they should be able to keep up with the DS18 EXL pro speakers.

What's good YouTube man, it's your boy Yon Dub coming at y'all with another video.
Y'all see there's another box on the table man, I got another update.
I know I did just unbox my Crescendo Symphony S1 amp.
Yes, that is a monoblock amp and everybody has been asking,
hey man, you running a mono on your mids and highs?
The mids and highs are all across the rear deck of the Malibu man.
I will do a video this weekend showing that, I might do a demo
if I can go ahead and get this stuff hooked up man.
Right now, the rear deck of the car is like the DS-18s, the horns, and then the DS-18s.
With me mentioning the horns, that's a great transition to get into what this video is about.
Right now, I do have my PRV horns.
The PRV horns are amazing, they sound great, but with a lot of power
that I'm running on those DS-18 speakers, I want the horns to be able to keep up
to give kind of that tweeter sound.
With that being said, that is the reason for the update in this video here.
Let me get this, y'all know what I do when I cut the box,
so I don't have to go fumbling around for some scissors.
Yes, that is a lot of sky-high car audio tape on the box.
Long story short, we got, I don't know, not necessarily some Peck of Peanuts,
but we got a lot of little foam pieces in there man.
Got another update.
Y'all know I got some Rockville's in the doors.
Right now, screw you Rockville with all your little will it blow.
Somebody just give them a shove and let them dig their hole, but I got DS-18.
So I got two Rockville Pro Speakers in the front doors.
As far as Rockville's Pro Speakers, they're amazing, so I can't recommend that.
I will not recommend anything else from that company because they lost my respect.
But rear deck, I do have DS-18.
I have DS-18 Pro Equipment.
This has a little tear in the box.
I don't know if y'all can see that on camera or not,
but let me get this thing open so I can make sure she's good to go.
Well, now you can see it.
Let's see what's going on.
Y'all know how I do, man.
I order everything off of eBay, so I got a sticker and the owner's manual,
but I want to make sure this thing is good to go.
All right.
So the box, she's got some...
I mean, I don't know.
Maybe the box is too small for this stuff or maybe the shipping was rough.
But this is some DS-18 horns.
I did not order the flares.
I'm going to just keep the wave horns from PRV.
But as far as the actual horn itself or the driver itself,
it's actually going to be a DS-18 piece of equipment.
So take a look at that, man.
This thing is huge.
There we go.
All right.
So she's got the DS-18 speaker on the back.
1.75-inch voice coil, titanium diaphragm, and 600 watts.
That's max.
These things are 300 watts RMS.
That's the one.
And based on the way that the box came, all beat up, man.
Let me get the other one out here.
But just doing a little quick unboxing update on this here.
There's the specifications, but let's get to the other one.
Like I said, with the box being beat up like this,
I want to make sure everything's squared away.
It comes with the crossover.
I don't know if I'm going to actually use that or not.
That'll be another update video that'll be coming soon here.
So stay tuned for that one.
But let's get this one.
This box has been through hell too.
But at the same time, they're horns, so they should be good to go, man.
These things, they're just basically a magnet with the voice coil built inside of it.
Let me get this one out of the plastic.
I'm trying to press that right there.
But I know this isn't necessary.
I mean, it's all important, but this won't necessarily break anything.
You see these four screws.
You actually take these screws off.
You can see the voice coil is right inside of there.
Basically, like I said, this video, it's just to let y'all know.
The magnets are going across each other, man.
But as far as this video, it's more or less just important to just let y'all know, hey,
the PRV horns are great.
They sound amazing.
They're just not keeping up with the amount of power that I got going to the DS18 speakers.
So with that being said, I went ahead and grabbed these.
So should be good to go, man.
Like I said, hopefully this weekend, I can get these DS18 Jokers in the car.
Get everything across the rear deck plans.
So like I said, I want to do a video and get an update.
And like I said, that could be an update and a demo video.
Mess around, find somewhere to go to.
That's, you know, another closed building or something like that.
And we'll shoot a video going from there, man.
So hopefully that'll answer a lot of questions that I'm getting as far as
why are you running a monoblock amp on your mids and highs.
That should help out.
And then like I've also been saying, like I said, I got the Rockville speakers in the front doors.
So as far as stereo imaging, I still get my left and right.
So when it comes to my front doors, I'm still getting the stereo.
Like if it's coming from the right, something's coming from the left.
I'm still getting the stereo imaging.
Also on the super tweeters right now, I'm getting that as well.
I'm gonna have to try to work that out with the little ill, what is it?
Illest car audio, I think.
My little RCA distribution block.
I'm gonna have to work that out, man.
Like I said, buying more stuff and swapping things out.
It's just gonna give me more time to look at the way I'm setting up my build.
The main thing I wanted to do was get my mids and highs out the way.
And then that way I can get to the bass.
And once we get the bass going, that'll get demos and stuff like that going.
It'll also leave me things out so I can know what I'm
gonna do for future giveaways and things like that, man.
But there is a big giveaway coming soon, man.
Like I said, when I get to 1,000 subscribers, I wanted to put together a nice care package.
So that'll be on here soon.
I'm getting closer and closer, man.
So once I hit that 1,001 is the mark I'm shooting for.
But once I hit that, man, there will be a nice package going out the door, man.
So y'all stay tuned for that.
Hey, y'all know the deal, man.
Any questions, comments, concerns, go ahead, hit me up.
I'll try to get back to everybody, man.
It's your boy, Yung Dub.
Y'all have a great weekend.
Enjoy yourselves, man.
And put out some positive vibes, man.
I'm out of here.
Bye.
