There will be a separate display video in the future where I will show all the fans in the garage on all speeds.
Hey guys welcome back to another video and as you know today is national ceiling fan day
so in honor of that i'll be showing you the fans installed around my house
and as well as the fans in the garage which is basically the display uh i'm sorry if i do sign
a little stuff and there's where i am feeling under the weather a little bit which is why my
voice is kind of very deep at the moment but i'm gonna try to get through this video without trying
to cough or die but anyways we're gonna start off here in my room this is the main spot of my room
we have this 1980s Power's Brass Casablanca Four Seasons got this from the Fanimation group trip
has the variable speed system the Casablanca Fan Company sticker with a genuine Casablanca
schoolhouse light fair that's not an original Casablanca uh glow but it looks pretty nice on
there having installed on a fan lifter it originally came with a slide-up canopy that
kind of melting system but with me being six foot seven obviously that won't work in this room so i
always had to put on the fan lifter and i had a spare Power's Brass hang through this laying around
so i mean it works pretty well i was originally going to put it on a um an LCA for a little bit
of extra clearance but this works out i can walk under it pretty safely here this is not
the lowest that it goes but this is the lowest i have it on right now it's pretty nice little
speed here over my bed we have here this Hunter's Robinson Meyer 36 inch original
also got it from Fanimation and as you can see it's running fairly slowly that's because i
converted this fan to three speed if you watched my previous video on this fan um you would know
that i converted this to three speed and also added a light kit to it that is a genuine Hunter
light kit and uh listing said it was a black light fitter but i mean you tell me if that's black
not really but um yeah i converted this with a 10 microfarad capacitor which gives me a nice
aesthetic low not really much for air movement really you can't really feel the air until you're
like directly under it and even then you can't really feel it but this is over my bed so i was
wanting to have a nice low speed because the factory low as you know is always too fast on
these fans it has a smc mounting which is honestly repulsive but that's what came with it
well this one didn't come with mounting actually that came the mounting came off of a 52 inch
Robinson Meyer original but i decided to use on this fan because it it means obviously safer
to use a ball socket with a baby original than a 52 inch original um yeah i'm actually proud of
this low speed i made with this fan i'll try to get a dual shot of both fans here it's pretty nice
i guess i could show this to this uh a regular wicker swag light kit that i got from an antique
store in lafayette indiana it looks really good in this room all right on to the other fans
here in my grandfather's room we have this
brobs excuse me brown and brass hunter original with this beautiful light shade on it
also picked this up from fanimation new in box the blade arms are antique brass but i mean it's
no biggie i picked this and this light shadow from the same seller at fanimation got a got a
beautiful fan this is in my grandfather's room so this is probably going to stay unless i find a
cooler fan in here to put in here at least it's really beautiful fan all right on to the next
here in my mother's room we have this hunter excuse me hunter vista ceiling fan this fan
has been installed in the house the longest it's on this emerson four speed remote just to make my
mom's life easier so she doesn't have to reach up for the chains every time she needs to turn the
fan off but she really loves this fan in here matches her room pretty well blows a lot of air
it has an air max motor in it so very nice it's a big challenge fan for me and like i said this
fan has been installed in the house the longest so i don't think this will be changing anytime soon
unless my mom wants it changed but as of now she's pretty happy with it she leaves it on high
most of the time so i'm not going to bother messing with it a really nice and powerful fan
all right on to the next all right here in my dining room we have this casablanca 20th century
ceiling fan i will try to get the dates to come from a day tag but my legs are spinning i can do
i got this fan from facebook marketplace surprisingly
for fairly cheap it's an antique brass with these genuine casablanca light shades
i was actually going to put bevel glass on this fan but since this fan
came with casablanca glass i might as well utilize them it's on the lca
because it originally came with like a five foot down rod because it was hanging in the foyer
the previous owner said they never used the fan they only used the light because they really
couldn't use the fan in the foyer so the fan never ran they only use it for the light kit
and it is slumber quiet with a k63 motor i could be wrong i'm not really good with
what kind of motors are on these fans unless i actually look at them but according to self
collectors this is kind of a rare combination because nobody really sees slumber quiet um
20th century there's usually variable speed on intellitouch in some cases three speed
but yeah the slumber quiet does work this isn't the lowest speed obviously i just have it running
but this fan will be remaining permanent in this dining room it looks well on my dining room table
my mom wishes that this was in polished brass but i told her the story that only one of these
fans in polished brass was ever made and that's currently in the museum but yeah once this fan
slumber quiet system fails then i'll replace it but then it'll be going right back up immediately
it is absolutely perfect for this dining room all right on to the next all right here at my
mother's home bakery we have this casablanca panama 5 ceiling fan in antique brass
the date sticker if i can get it to focus there we go this fan is variable speed has been converted
to variable speed because the slumber quiet failed got this fan i found a mention from
a fellow collector he converted it to variable speed put these bubble shades on it which honestly
look amazing oh yeah this is this is my mom's bakery i might find a different fan in here
and put like a three or four speed fan in here so she doesn't have to keep reaching up
for the variable speed knob but now for this fan over here we have a view fan mn36
installed in this spot there used to be a light here and then i put a um
newton slim line and then now i put this fan i think this one does much better
than a slim line got this fan in a box from um facebook marketplace i have this light
coming here because we obviously need some light down here but this fan does a really good job
so this might be a permanent install unless this fan craps out which most of the times
these small view fans usually do either capacitor issues or bearing issues
but for now it's doing pretty good all right on to the next fan
all right here in my basement slash my guitar area studio whatever you may call it we have this falcon
corporation uh i forgot what the name of this fan is it's not 30 excuse me it's not 42 inches
this might be a 38 inch fan i got this fan from ebay new and box it's a little
pitting on the switch housing but yeah this fan came new and box from ebay
because i was curious on what this fan was but you know it's perfect for this area because my
head doesn't hit the fan because these ceilings are very very low these are like seven foot ceilings
in the basement yeah it's a really nice fan for this area and now for the newest addition
to the basement we have what used to be in my bedroom this casablanca lady delta
installed here over my drums the strobe is honestly terrible so i apologize for that
but this fan is a powerhouse honestly have it installed on the lca i'll turn it off so we can
minimize the strobe may i have this fan installed over my drums because usually when i'm recording
down here i have to turn the air conditioner off so i don't have to hear the feedback noise
from there so i usually have these fans running because this fan is very quiet
okay this is one of the best fans i've ever had installed over my bed
but you know it's down here in my basement so it's still doing justice
two white and polished brass fans down here pretty nice all right on to the next fan
all righty here in my basement we have this smc m36 this is in the washroom
the laundry room in my basement is the only unfinished part of the basement
this thing used to hang in my garage as one of the industrial fans in there this is probably
one of the best industrial fans i've had in the garage but having installed on some
dimmer switch slash solid state control here doesn't give a good low speed but it's all right
this might be a permanent install for this basement for this laundry room
and it does get pretty moist down here it's a really nice fan set at least i got this
fan new and boxed from my local goodwill many years ago there's the canopy right there
but a really great fan anyways on to the next here in the living room which is currently
being redone i gotta get a new ceiling down here but we have this hunter arborville fan
i got this from my uncle's house when he was remodeling i got three of these along with a
harbor breeze fan this fan is currently not plugged in so this won't be a part of our
tour tonight this fan will get replaced though soon with a cooler fan in my opinion
but um anyways on to the next fan all right guys now we've made it we've made it to the final stop
of the fan tour so here in my garage i'll start with the fans to my left
so right here is the newest addition we have this ritz tangier ceiling fan
this fan is not currently hooked up yet kai just threw this fan up here last night
so as you can see it doesn't work so this won't be a part of our tour tonight either
because like i said i just threw this fan up last night before going to bed so i have to
you know get some wiring up there running through an outlet but over here the fans are currently
powering on we have this turn it down to low we have this hunter original chestnut brown
i got this fan from fanimation the recent group trip that we had
it has these u brackets on there which i really love there's no oil in it right
now because i just threw out a testing bracket test it now good to change it
they're a really nice fan has a 1.1 amp motor as well and over here we have this thing
there we go we have this mystery fan here don't know what it is i don't know who made it
really really cool fan i don't know if this fan has ever been videoed
on youtube there will be a youtube video on this fan separately soon i got this fan from
fanimation from gabriel justice um if i'm correct he had two of these fans and he had to sell this
one and i promptly jumped on his fan before anybody else could so this fan will be staying
in my collection for quite some time if i would do so it'll be going back to him nice ornate blade
arms and these cane blades and a brown finish really nice so over here we have these two
kontech industrial fans i got from an estate sale i got three of these fans i sold one at
fanimation and i'm keeping these two here installed in my garage on this um variable speed control
i'll let it run up to high real quick bring it down because these fans do take forever to get
up to speed with these heavy steel blades i'll showcase that one the furthest one over there
since um it's easier to access uh they're pretty six inches in brown
and what i found interesting is reversible and it's not like a newer reversible fan where you
have to uh hook up a wire to make it reversible it's just a regular switch which i found pretty
cool and these fans are out here in the garage i might try to find some 48 inch industrial fans
no band belt makes newer ones but those are you have to get those imported i don't feel like
dealing with all that they're from canada but over there as you can see we have a
new tone uh c island i have this hooked up to the outlet which is controlled separately by a
breaker so i'm just trying to break off when i don't need it because the garage is currently
in need of being fixed got this fan animation as well a unique design to say the least but
you know it's not really that well of a performer but it's really nice we'll also find weird about
these fans is this one this contact moves much faster than this one and i'll try um
switching them to like switch the fans move this one over there and that one moves slower
when it was in this spot so i don't know if it's the power going on with it i don't know
i'm not that full on i don't have that much knowledge on electrical stuff i'm going to
trade school so um i'll have much more knowledge of this stuff in the future
oh the uh that fan stopped which is where it usually doesn't stall out
you just turn that up a little bit well like i said i am revamping this um
display start adding some more fans down the line here as you can see i added that one
i do plan maybe plan on tapping off that light socket right here but i don't know what kind of
wiring is in that ceiling i don't know if it's 12-2 or 14-2 i do have some rum actually that's
14-2 but anyway using the back shed the final stop of the tour we have these two fans installed
back here right here we have a hunter robinson meyer original from 1980 it's two speed this is
low speed i thought the pull chain thing which was weird because it goes high off low off which
i've never seen on a hunter original before i guess these earlier hunters did have that
over here we have my moss heirloom ceiling fan it started but it stalled out there we go
one of my favorite fans in my collection this will be switched out
with another rm original that i do have that hasn't been showed on this channel yet
it's a really nice fan to say the least let that spin up a little bit over here we have this
chestnut brown hunter reverse air original uh this is not powered up as well it can be powered up
but as of now i am currently in the middle of converting this fan to three speed as well
which is why i still have the guts out with the three speed pull chain in there
these beautiful king blades i got this fan from marketplace for free
uh these blades didn't come with all these blade arms the blade arms were actually antique brass
but um yeah i got these blade arms and blades for fanimation because i came on these
those blade arms and these blades came on the black rm original i have in my room so
obviously it was a match made in heaven yeah this is kind of wired up all i gotta do is plug it in
and make it run but obviously there's no capacitor in there so i mean probably could still run on a
high and low speed but i really don't feel like doing that but yeah it's wired up there
yeah i got this fan from fanimation uh about two years ago i got this one this year's recent
that's pretty pretty hot back here so i'll just turn this one up
like i said this will get replaced soon but back here is where the rest of the fans
hang up in storage i'm going to change all of this really all the excuse me all the you know
lightweight fans are going to go on shelves and all the heavier fans like this new fan
and the originals that's fairly heavy too those will hang from the studs just just so i can clear
some space and potentially um install more fans back here for display because like on the ground
right here we have this moss caribbean breeze four wood blades and a stencil which is pretty cool
and over there we have a canarm 36 inch industrial fan um this came from
brian griswold i can't pronounce his last name correctly so i apologize for butchering that
that came from him at fanimation and that camera came from rick rick muller at fanimation as well
and that's the other arborville i got for my uncle i don't like the blades and i like that
i had to clear clear some space in here to get it sitting properly and moss wf series
i got two of these fans along with that are the original back there free
got a sears emerson right there but um yeah that's pretty much the fan display um in the future i
will do a separate uh video of all the fans in my garage running on all the speeds
but um just for today this is what is um being shown for national cilic fan day
but um oh and here's the sears lasco turn of the century i have the lasco version
and the emerson version which i find pretty cool but um anyways thank you for watching
and happy national cilic fan day
