Chile vs Japan Highlights ｜ FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025

Day two continues at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup and the excitement mounting with the host nation Chile facing off against Japan. Free kick taken by Ryu Sato. Nice disguise on that. Chile haven't read it. Went all the way through. Good press from Sato, looking for Takaoka. Great challenge from Sandoval. Oh, referee's given a penalty. Suggesting there was a push. Oh, it's saved brilliantly by Meyer. The man who won the penalty misses the penalty, Takaoka. Calderas being tested here to retreat in Chile defence. Referee, great positioning there. Man feel that they might have another penalty. It's a penalty. The stadium holds its breath. Ishihara holds his breath. Oh, how about it? Coolest man inside the stadium, Rion Ishihara. Nicely flighted. Oh, my word, the goalkeeper's not getting there. Japan were runners-up in Asian qualifying. A title won by Australia. As Yokoyama! What a finish! And what an entrance. The home nation find the quality. That's a lovely take from Godoy. And here is quality, Rossell! Excellent goalkeeping from Pisano. So it goes to the final group game for the hosts. Full-time in Group A, FIFA Under-20 World Cup, Chile nil, Japan two.
