AR7 or U.S. Survival Rifle Slim River Sling. This is the only sling option I've found for this rifle.
The Henry Survival Rifle is really compact.
It's great for camping, hiking, just sticking in a pack.
Also, it's great as a survival rifle, as it's called.
And this really makes a great little bug-out rifle.
It's a 22-long rifle.
I've done a couple of different reviews on this system.
I'll have it linked right here
and down in the description below.
But one of the downfalls to me of this system
is there's not really a way to attach a sling.
And especially if you're in a survival situation,
it's really good to be able to have
both hands free at times.
And then you expand this out and you have it ready to go,
but then you've gotta carry it everywhere.
And so I started looking around for a system
to be able to carry this, and I was on eBay,
and found this little sling system.
This is called the Slim River AR7 or Henry Rifle Sling.
Really simple, has little Fastex buckles
to be able to release your sling if you want to,
and it just fits on here very nicely.
What's really cool is it's so lightweight
that you can take this off
and you can stuff it in your pack very easily.
And as you can see, it slides right over your shoulder.
You can adjust this.
It's fully adjustable to be able to have it,
but it just keeps it definitely out of your way.
I can put it around, I can do what I'm doing,
bring it back around.
You can also have this sling attached
whether the rifle is assembled or in the buttstock,
just to be able to carry it on your shoulder
instead of having it packed away.
So it makes it a lot better, a lot quick access.
And to me, that really makes this rifle
even more viable in a survival situation,
or for that matter, in any situation.
Now here, of course, you see the Fastex buckles.
You can just remove those really easily
and be able to carry this like you would without a sling.
The harness sits on well.
On the other side here, it has a QD as well.
This is gonna retain it to the back of the stock.
And then you have a little triangular D-type ring
right here to attach other things.
To remove the sling system,
just unbuckle and go over the rifle.
Here you have a neat little small package.
You can actually fold this up.
You can put it in a pouch, you can do whatever.
But it really folds up well.
It is fully adjustable to whatever length you want.
It really gets long.
In fact, even when I was demonstrating it a minute ago,
I really needed to pull this up
a little bit closer to my arm.
I mean, it's just got that much room
to be able to do whatever for whatever size you are.
It only weighs 2.6 ounces.
It's really lightweight.
It's a really simple system with all the different buckles,
so it's very versatile.
Now, I got this on eBay.
I think I paid $19.99 free shipping.
And they have a number of them on eBay.
Plus, they have some mag carriers that fit on here
and some other things.
And you can look at the website,
which is slimriver.ecrater.com.
I'll have the link down below,
and, of course, right here where you can check it out.
But there's some different accessories
you can get with this.
I think they even have something
that'll have a cheek riser.
So, you know, there's a lot of different things you can do.
This rifle is so versatile that it's really cool
to be able to have some really unique things like this.
In fact, this is the only sling system I found anywhere
for the U.S. Henry survival rifle or the AR-7.
So, check out slimriver.ecrater.com
or go to eBay and just put in Slim River Slings,
and you'll be able to find them.
So, pretty cool little system
that I think will really make your AR-7
or U.S. Henry survival rifle really up to date.
So, the Slim River Sling
for the U.S. Henry survival rifle, thumbs way up.
Be strong, be of good courage.
God bless America.
Long live the Republic.
I'm gonna get you to help me with something.
You know what's heavy?
Climb a tree.
I'm not getting into all that bull crap.
Man, how high do you want me to get up in this tree?
Higher than that.
You crazy.
