Robert Gardos comes from behind and takes the first golden point he plays in Major League Table Tennis.
Gardos has played for top clubs in Germany, Russia, Spain and France. Now coming to the
United States for the first time and it certainly looks like the Chicago Wind are lucky to have him.
It's over and Kim's forehand completes the sweep. What a big swing by the paddlers to go up by three
points into the golden game. Could have literally been a seven point swing in the standings right
With a little bit of table tennis artistry reeling in Wong and then smashing it by him.
Paddlers take game one.
Unbelievable Nordberg backhand winner return to give the paddlers a five-point lead heading
into the golden game. Can you believe it? What a go for it gutsy move.
Mishit by Kumar and Chicago finds a way improbably to steal game one.
Bold choice by Nordberg to run around his forehand.
Mishit wins the golden point and brings the paddlers back within one. Huge turning point
there. Kumar was patient and sometimes that's a virtue. Paddlers get the golden point in game two
and this match is even at one thrilling game apiece. Mishit by Chomon and Robono escapes.
That was an absolute Houdini act by the Frenchman.
Seemingly in control and then seemingly lost it and then snatches it back.
Into the net it goes and Gardos delivers a crazy comeback. Six straight points. Game point down.
But they don't. Tole generally has the same expression whether he wins or loses.
