Our time in Leiden is complete.
That was incredible.
This place is definitely a highlight.
Yes.
Now we're off to Amsterdam to catch our train to Hamburg, Germany.
What are you getting, Hamburg?
Bread.
We have fresh cheeses, breads, meat.
Where do we go from?
Where do we go from here?
Private cabin, six people, comfy seats.
First changeover of the day in Osnabrück.
We just spent three hours having the most wonderful conversation with Vivian and Charlie
and their travel nurse.
Well, their nurses that are traveling.
That was awesome.
So now we're going to look for our train to eat in Hamburg.
Good day, good day.
Look right there.
Pommes und Currywurst.
Wow, we're almost in Hamburg.
And then I'm going to get some bread.
Just the bread.
It's fresh-baked.
That is an ice train.
The ice trains are very dangerous.
Unfortunately, you'll be heading backwards.
Yeah, well, half a dozen the other, you never know how the other one is.
Could even be six in one.
Six in one.
You notice we just keep our bags with us now.
And look how small they are.
And the ice train goes fast.
Welcome to Hamburg.
This place is big.
This is a little different.
Got digital bracelets.
We got a little cabin.
It's called your cabin in the hood.
Check this out.
It's kind of like a hostel, but it's more private and more better.
This is cute.
This is better than I expected.
Check this out.
We got robes.
Got a little queen-size bed or full-size bed.
You look for a teeny-tiny place.
That's pretty cool.
Also, the bed's pretty comfy.
It's nice.
This was, I think, like 70 or 80 bucks, as opposed to most places around here, well over 100.
So, score.
Tour in Hamburg.
Got to find some food.
And now I'm looking for the Lange Rehe.
Which I guess is like a food street.
We're going to walk to the lake.
When there's tons of choices and you don't know what to get and you're hungry,
you never go wrong with a donut.
Oh, there's a letter.
Holy cow.
Look at that thing.
I love these places.
Does it taste as good as it looks?
I'm really moist.
Try one of those fries.
I tried them already and they were incredible.
They were amazing.
That place was absolutely delicious.
That was great.
That was wonderful.
Last time to go explore the lake a little bit.
I don't know what I was expecting down here.
But this certainly surpasses it.
There's like a nightly regatta going on out here.
This is gorgeous.
The guy at the hostel suggested we go down and walk at the lake.
That's beautiful.
Hamburg's pretty.
Pretty darn cool city to walk around.
Look who we found.
Swans eat the swans.
Last little bit of sun, glinting off the clock.
It's early, but it's probably getting time for us to head back and go into the night.
Let's race back to the Batcave.
That little cab, cab 20 if you're in Hamburg.
It's small, but that was amazing.
Comfortable, the staff's wonderful.
It's clean.
Clean, yeah.
Tons of showers that are all private.
Tons of bathrooms.
That's the coolest hostel type thing we've ever stayed in, I think.
I think so, yeah.
Except for maybe the one in Kyoto, Japan.
But, you know, Japan.
We should be on a Danish train today.
So we'll compare those with the German trains, and the Scottish trains, and the Irish trains,
and the British trains, and the U.S. trains, and the Belgian trains.
I think we'll be on forever.
Had any travel anxiety this morning?
Yeah.
So I think we hung out with Des for a few days, and Katie got all nice and comfortable.
It'll pass as soon as we get on the second train.
Probably.
At least it's not raining.
Very true.
Nice.
Hey you, welcome to Denmark.
Well, thank you.
How many times have you been to Denmark?
Not one.
That's right.
Every border that we've crossed, we have to get checked by Border Patrol.
So, stuff's changing, but that doesn't cause us any trouble.
It's just, they come through the trains.
Check your passport.
Welcome to Copenhagen.
A little colder than I thought.
Still warmer than Ireland.
Yeah, very true.
Big drinking of coffee.
Like the thumbs up, and subscribe.
No, no, that was good.
That was good.
