Hey friends.
In today's video, we are creating this look.
I wanted to create something that was cool tone,
that was neutral, light and airy for spring,
but most importantly, it had to be easy.
So let's go ahead and jump right in.
Okay, so in today's look,
we are gonna be featuring some products from Jane Iredell.
They just launched their Elemental Nudes collection
for spring.
And in the collection,
they have two of the pure pressed eyeshadow trios.
They have two shades
and these really beautiful cool tone neutrals.
So we're gonna be playing with these.
And then they also launched two new lipstick shades as well.
So we're gonna kind of tie the look
around the new Jane Iredell spring launch.
I did team up with them.
You guys know I'm a very proud partner of Jane Iredell.
So that'll be coming later in the video.
I've also got some other kind of random products
to share in this look.
For this look, I really wanted to create
something that was neutral, that was easy,
that was everyday, that was just a little bit fresh
and kind of light for spring.
So when I was thinking about foundations
that I wanted to use in today's video,
I actually grabbed the Jane Iredell powder foundation,
the pure pressed mineral base.
And I grabbed this one.
It's one of my favorite foundations regardless.
I love this foundation.
I always go to it.
I know I talk about it a lot on my channel.
So when I do these videos,
I always like to introduce new things to you,
but then I also wanna show you how to use the products
that you're purchasing from my video.
So I know a lot of you have this foundation
and I think this is a great one for spring too
because it has that additional SPF of 20.
And I don't completely rely on my foundation
for my SPF.
I do apply a tinted SPF,
but it's always a bonus when you can get SPF
in your foundation.
I know some people that this is their SPF for their face.
I like to layer one underneath.
But anyway, all that to say,
we're outside in the springtime.
The sun is out.
We spend more time outside.
So I like to get a little bit of additional coverage.
So I'm gonna go in with this.
I am the shade golden.
And you guys know the deal on this product.
I love this product, but if you're new to my channel
or you don't know,
or not familiar with this powder foundation,
this powder foundation is truly
like any other powder foundation.
It actually looks like skin.
It doesn't look flat and matte.
It's reflective.
So it reflects light
and gives kind of this radiant matte finish.
It's buildable depending on what tool
you use to apply it with.
I'm going in with the BK Beauty 111 brush.
This is a moderately dense brush.
So it's designed to pick up a lot of product
and apply a lot of products.
So I'll get pretty good coverage from this foundation.
Yeah, I just love it.
It's so quick and easy to apply.
It's good for your skin.
It has good for your skin ingredients.
It has SPF of 20 and it looks great.
I mean, it looks like as good
as any other liquid foundation
or cream foundation that you might pick up.
So why not, right?
This is the one we're gonna go in with.
And I'm just gonna really kind of build
the coverage across the face.
I always start in the center of the face
because that's where I have the most discoloration
and things that I need to cover.
And then I kind of buff the product in
and work my way out.
Now, I always recommend applying this
on freshly prepped skin.
So whether you apply your moisturizer
and then apply this shortly after,
or you use one of the Jane Iredell primers,
they're designed to work really well with this product,
but you don't wanna apply this on really dry skin.
You wanna make sure there's a little bit of prep there.
So I just applied my tinted SPF
and I'm applying this right on top.
And look at that, so good.
Okay, I need to go in with some concealer though.
I'm gonna go in and conceal underneath these eyes.
I'm gonna be going in with the NARS Radiant
Creamy Concealer today.
And I have the shade Custard.
This is just such a great concealer.
It has been a favorite of mine
pretty much since I started my YouTube channel.
Like, what is that?
It's hydrating, it's creamy, it's got great coverage,
but it looks natural underneath the eye.
You know, coming out of this cold weather
that we've been having in Austin,
you know, we're coming out of winter.
So most of us have experienced more cold weather recently.
Some of you guys are still living in it
depending on where you live in the country.
My skin is so dry.
So I always look for products that are hydrating,
that have more of a skin-like finish,
especially underneath the eyes,
because that skin is already dry
paired on top with winter weather,
and it's just very dry.
And it just accentuates texture.
So I wanna use concealers that are hydrating.
And this one's a really great one.
And I'm going in with the BK Beauty A506,
and I'm just gonna blend this out
by tapping and pressing the product in.
I'm gonna take any excess that I have
and just kinda run it on my lid
just to brighten the lid a little bit and prep it.
Okay, so, so quick and so easy.
The skin is done.
We've got foundation and concealer.
It took no time.
Let's go in and warm the skin up.
I'm gonna be going in with the NARS Bronzer
in the shade Laguna, and this is matte.
I'm playing with a mix of powders and creams
and different textures and finishes
just to kinda balance out the overall look.
I want a little bit of a glow for spring,
but I also want to kind of have a controlled glow
so that I just have longevity in my makeup.
So this one's a matte bronzer.
I'm gonna use the same brush
that I used to apply my powder foundation.
This, again, is the 111.
It's kind of large, so it really applies bronzer
in a very kind of soft and natural way.
This shade is a little dark.
I find that the Laguna matte is slightly darker
than the one with shimmer,
so I'm gonna be a little light-handed with it.
I'm just gonna warm up the skin
by pressing the brush onto the skin.
So I'm picking up some product,
but then I'm also balancing it on a paper towel
to remove any excess.
It's a little trick you can do
just to have a lot of control
and avoid going in and applying too much product
and then having to fix it, you know,
because you've got too much product on the skin.
So I always do that.
I always like to tap it on a clean towel.
So good.
So yeah, it just really warms up the skin.
Okay, for cheeks, I'm gonna go in
with my just favorite blush of all time.
This is the Jane Iredell blush stick in the shade Balmy.
No surprise, I love this product.
I think it's a great color and shade for all year round,
but particularly spring because it gives your skin,
this beautiful youthful glow.
It's got this warm peachy pink tone to it.
And I just love it.
I think it's so beautiful.
This look is really gonna be kind of focused
on the cheeks and the lips.
We are gonna be using the new Elemental Nudes palettes,
but they're nice, soft, light, airy, cool tone shadows.
So the eyes are gonna be light and fresh.
You're really gonna be, for me,
it's all about skin and kind of this color on the lips.
So I'm gonna go in with the 112 brush.
I'm gonna load the product up onto the brush.
What I love about this brush for cream blush is one,
the size of it, it's small, so it gives you a lot of control.
You're not going to apply it in too large of an area.
And two, it's kind of light and airy.
So it's not a real dense brush,
which means it's not gonna pick up a ton of product
and apply a lot of product.
And I think particularly for blush, that's great
because we can overdo blush really easily.
And this brush just makes it real easy.
I'm just gonna bounce it on.
And you can see color and you also see that glow.
Do you see that really beautiful glow that's happening?
The blush is a cream, but it's not a heavy cream
or a really like wet, dewy cream.
So I love it.
It stays all day.
You have some glow, but it's not too shiny.
It is so, so pretty.
And for blush, I always kind of start a little light
and then I might go back and add
after I have the eye makeup on and the full look.
I feel like blush is always one of those things
that you can go back and evaluate
once the full look is done.
Okay, good.
Now I'm just gonna kind of take a little look in the mirror,
see if we're even.
I wanna see some color on the apples of the cheeks,
but I really wanna bring that up here
to kind of lift the face a little bit and lift the cheeks.
Fun fact, you can actually put a little bit of this
on the lips if you want.
It's a nice little kind of peachy pink lip color.
Okay, I've got an eye primer here.
This one's just from e.l.f.
It's just a little translucent eye primer.
I always recommend an eye primer to everyone, you know,
because an eye primer is going to keep
your eye makeup on all day.
It should, a good eye primer will keep it from creasing
or fading throughout the day.
It also gives the shadow something to adhere to,
so it intensifies the color of the shadow a bit.
The key is just making sure that your eye primer,
you have a nice thin layer of it.
You don't wanna have it be too heavy or too thick.
So I like to use the N16 brush.
I don't have one in front of me, so I'm using my finger,
but I'm really spreading it out
so it's a nice, even, but sheer layer of product.
I think we might use both of these.
What I do love about these little
pure pressed triple shadows is they are small and compact,
but they always give you the shades
to complete a full eye look.
So they're great for traveling.
I have several of these that I travel with all the time,
but they're also just great for everyday eye makeup
when you don't want to have to think too hard
about what you wanna do,
and you just wanna grab some shades
that you know are gonna work together.
So these are the two new ones.
This is Riverstone shade.
You can see it's really beautiful, triple shades.
They're all matte, they're cool tone, they're neutral.
And then we have Driftwood,
and Driftwood has a little pearl shade
in between those two mattes,
so that's nice to add a little pop of highlight to the lid.
These also are cool tone, neutral.
You have a little bit more warmth in that matte brown there,
but you can see that there's a similar tone.
These two actually work really well together
if you wanna pair them and use them together
to create a little bit more of an elaborative look,
which we might do that today.
We might start off with this one,
and I'll show you guys kind of a look
you can create with this one,
and then I'll show you how you can pop this one
if you wanna add a little bit of depth or glam to the eye.
Why don't we do that?
Okay, so first what I'm gonna do
is I'm gonna take my N13 brush,
the Nikkila Rose Crease brush,
and we're gonna go in to Driftwood,
and we're gonna go into the lightest shade right here,
and we're gonna sweep this underneath the brow.
It's just gonna give a little bit of a highlight
to the brow, a little bit of lightness.
What that does is it tricks the eye,
and it lifts the brow, which is gonna in turn lift the eye.
I usually don't like to use a real frosty
or shimmery shade underneath the brow.
If anything, I might use something
with a little pearl to it, but I don't like to use shimmer.
So it's either matte,
or it's a slight little satin pearl finish.
Okay, next I'm gonna go in
with a deeper matte shade right here,
and this is a good kind of, I would say, medium tone.
It looks a little darker on screen than it is.
It's not light, but it's not dark.
It's kind of right in the middle,
which is perfect for a creased kind of transition color.
I'm using the same brush.
What I love about these shades
is they're so easy to use and easy to work with.
Again, what I love about these little triple shadows
is just the ease of it.
You know, it takes out all the complicatedness.
Is that a word?
Takes it all out of doing your makeup.
So I'm gonna pop this right in the crease.
I'm gonna start in the outer corner,
and I'm gonna softly sweep back and forth into the crease.
And then I'm also gonna pull it down to meet my lashes.
So we're almost creating this little V in the corner.
Now, I want most of that color here on the outer corner.
So once I think that I've got most of it off the brush
onto the skin here in the outer corner,
then I'll start to sweep it over a little further.
But I don't like to have this part of the eye
to be too dark or too heavy.
Not in the crease, not on the inner corner, not on the lid.
I always want the most dark shades to be in the outer corner.
And we're just gonna go back and forth
till we get a really pretty soft blend with this.
You can go back and layer
until you feel like you have an even blend.
That looks perfect.
Okay, go and do the other side.
What I love about this brush
is it's a nice size for the crease.
It's got a really nice tapered tip,
so it gives you a lot of control.
Let me actually show you the tip a little better.
It gives you a lot of control.
Even though it's a long crease brush,
that tip is very tapered.
You see how it almost comes to like a nice pointed tip?
That's gonna allow you to work in smaller areas
without making a big mess.
So if you have smaller eye shapes or hooded eyes,
this brush will work for you.
By the way, I always get asked about my mirror.
This is a Niki La Rose mirror,
and I use it in all my videos,
and I always have it linked
in the description box down below.
But I get asked so many times,
what mirror are you using?
And this is from Niki La Rose.
So you can go to her website and pick one up.
They also come in black,
and they come in like a chrome color.
This is the opal one, and I love it.
Next, I'm gonna take this middle shade right here.
We're gonna pop this on the lid.
I've already put it on my left eye.
You can see how beautiful and soft that is.
What I love about these pearl shades in these palettes
is they're just so refined.
So they are very, very over 40 friendly.
If you feel like,
I think one of the biggest myths that I hear
that drives me nuts is that you can't wear shimmer
after a certain age on your eyes,
because you absolutely can,
but it's all about finding really refined formulas
that highlight the eye, reflect a light,
give you that beautiful sparkle,
but in a very refined way,
avoiding those really chunky, frosty shades,
and finding shades that are just beautiful pearl shades
like this one.
And I'm using the 203 brush.
I'm loading the brush up on its side.
I'm just really packing it on the eye.
And I'm taking this from the inner corner
all the way to meet the outer corner.
So I really want you to see that lightness on the lid.
What I'm gonna do next is I'm gonna go back
and I'm gonna take my crease brush.
I'm not adding anything to this,
but I am gonna just kind of run it right on top
just to kind of merge those two shades together
in a very seamless transition.
So far we've used all three shades here.
We've used the lightest one underneath the brow.
We went in with the darker one
and put it in the outer corner in the crease.
And then we packed on the shimmer pearl shade
on the center of the lid.
Now I'm gonna go ahead and pop on some eyeliner
and some mascara.
And then I'm gonna show you how you can kind of bump it up
with maybe a deeper shade,
if you'd like to kind of add a little drama.
But for the spring look we're doing today,
I'm gonna keep it kind of light and fresh.
So I'm gonna go in and line the eye
and I'm using this gel liner pencil from Trish McEvoy.
This is the shade deep aubergine.
And what I love about this formula is it's very creamy.
So it just blends onto the skin really easily.
You don't have to put a lot of pressure.
It's not gonna tug or irritate the eye.
And it's also gives you time to like wing it out
or smudge it or soften it if you want.
And then when it sets, it stays in place.
You don't have to worry about it smudging or anything.
I'm gonna keep this line pretty light though.
I'm really just gonna try and define the lash line.
I'm gonna keep it really light.
For me, spring is all about light, fresh,
kind of airy looks.
I don't want too heavy of a liner.
So I like to lay the pencil on its side
so I can get right there and rest it on the lashes.
Then I am gonna go in.
I'm just gonna soften and smoke it out.
I'm gonna take the 210 brush.
I'm gonna go back into the shadow right here
with the tip of it.
And we're just gonna kind of run it on top of that liner.
That's gonna work the liner into the lashes
and just create a really soft, subtle, smoky finish to it.
Perfect.
Oh, look at that, lovely.
So we have some nice definition at the lashes,
but I didn't take up the entire lid with that line.
It's very nice and thin.
Okay, so I'm gonna go back and curl my lashes
now that I have liner done.
And then I'm going to go in
with the Clinique High Impact Mascara.
Now for lower lashes, I do want some definition there,
but I don't want a harsh line.
So I'm gonna go back in with this shade right here,
do the 210 again,
and we're just gonna run this on the lower lash line
to create a little bit of definition, but keep it soft.
Perfect, okay.
And I'm gonna put a tiny bit of mascara on the lower lashes,
but again, I wanna keep it very, very light.
Just a little coat, not much.
Perfect.
Okay, for lips, I'm gonna go in
with the City Beauty Lip Liner in the shade Blush.
And I'm gonna line the lips,
but I'm also gonna slightly fill the lips in
with this color.
This color is almost an exact match to my lip color.
It's just a little bit more rosy.
And this formula is very soft, very creamy.
It glides on nicely.
I have really been enjoying these.
Okay, so let's go in with the lipstick.
I've got two shades from Jane Iredell.
These are the two new shades
that launched with the Elemental Nudes collection.
So let me swatch them for you so you can see them both.
This is the shade Desert Rose,
and this is a medium nude pink.
I'm pretty sure this is the one we're gonna go in with,
but it complements the blush really nicely, balmy.
It's that beautiful kind of warm, nude, rosy pink.
Just a great, great shade for the spring.
And we also have Copper Dune,
which is a warm caramel shade.
So let me show this to you.
Yeah, this is pretty.
It's more of a peachy, caramelly, warm shade.
I'm gonna go with Desert Rose.
It's kind of more my vibe,
but I do wanna show you this one.
If you lean more towards these caramel shades,
really, really pretty.
What I love about this formula,
this is the Color Luxe Hydrating Lipstick,
is they're so hydrating.
And the pigment is rich, but buildable.
So if you want just like a sheer layer, you can,
but if you just layer it up a couple of times,
you'll get full pigment.
Great longevity, very comfortable on the lips.
There's some shine to it,
but you can also pair a gloss on top
if you want like a really high shine gloss.
They feel lightweight on the lips.
I also love the bullet.
It's like the perfect size.
It's not too big.
Oh, so good.
So creamy and so pigmented.
I love these.
This is such a pretty shade.
Ooh, they feel so good.
I don't know.
Do I wanna put gloss on top of this?
I think I'm not going to.
I think I'm gonna leave it as is.
This is so, so beautiful.
Okay, so now that I have the whole look on,
I do feel like I wanna add a little more blush.
So I'm gonna go back in with Balmy.
I'm gonna take the 112
and we're just gonna add a little bit more blush.
Just right here in the apples, just a tiny bit.
Kind of light up the face.
Oh, so pretty.
Lovely.
Okay, and you know what, you guys?
I'm gonna leave it as is.
I was thinking about taking this and bumping it up,
but I really feel like we have a good level of glam here.
It's light and fresh, but that eyeliner,
that smoky liner really kind of elevates it
to a little bit more of this kind of daytime glam look.
I think we're gonna leave it.
I think we're gonna leave.
We're gonna keep it simple
and just keep it kind of pared down.
So this is the finished look.
What do you guys think?
I love it.
The skin is flawless,
but I have that glow, especially in the cheeks.
The finish of the foundation is nice and natural.
It's not really dewy and glowy, but it's not matte either.
I love everything.
So I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial.
I'm gonna list and link all the products that I used
down in the description box below.
So be sure and check that out as well.
I will tag anything that I can
in the YouTube shopping platform as well
if you wanna shop that way.
Thank you guys for watching this video.
I hope that you enjoyed it
and I will see you in my next one.
Bye.
