In the coastal city called Kosgoda, in Sri Lanka,
a group of swimmers found two sea turtles trapped in a large fishing net.
The swimmers and workers of the restaurant called Orua Beach Restaurant,
without hesitation, began to help them.
The fastest and easiest thing was to cut the nets, so they started doing that.
The sea turtle was very calm, as if it knew that they were helping her.
After cutting the nets that caught her neck, they began to release their pectoral fins.
Cutting the fins' strings was a bit complicated, as it is a delicate area.
However, they managed to free the first of them.
The second turtle was patiently waiting for her moment.
She was as or more trapped than the first turtle.
Without a doubt, they could not have been free again alone.
Luckily for them, these heroes appeared on their way.
Cut after cut, the turtle was feeling more and more free.
It moved as if it wanted to return to the sea.
They still had to release their front and rear fins, which were very trapped.
After a few minutes, the second turtle was released and returned to the sea.
Navigating the Atlantic Ocean, in Florida, United States,
the sports fishing YouTuber named Logan TD Etty,
spotted a sea turtle trapped in what appeared to be a beach chair.
Without thinking much, they brought their boat closer to the turtle.
They did not know if she was still alive.
When they got to her, they saw movements, which caused them to try to free her.
They held the old PVC chair, opening it to get the turtle out.
They managed to free her, and the sea turtle swam towards its freedom
after spending weeks in a tiny cell built by humans.
In the town called Islandia, in the wild part of Peru,
a dolphin from the Amazon River was found trapped between sticks and a raft.
The defenseless animal was only looking for its mother.
Luckily, locals noticed this situation,
coming immediately to release this animal in danger.
This dolphin, of the Tukushi species, is one of the two species that inhabit the Amazon River,
along with the pink dolphin.
Maybe you didn't know there were freshwater dolphins, but they really exist.
Sadly, they are a species in danger of extinction.

On the coasts of Australia, to be more exact, on the solitary islands of Southern New Wales,
a diving group called Jetty Dive Centre, led by Mike Davy,
on one of his expeditions to the seabed, found a shark with its tail trapped in marine garbage.
They, lovers of marine life, began to help the shark,
even though they had spotted another 40 sharks in the area.
With the help of a rod that is used to untangle whales,
which has sharp scissors-like tips, they tried to cut the rope.
They failed several attempts.
After many attempts, they managed to cut the rope that caught the shark's tail.
Mike Davy expresses that the rope that caught his body was going to generate infections in the shark,
that were going to end, surely, in a tragic end.
Fortunately for the shark, they were able to save him.

On Toad Island, located in the Maldives, a diving group called Subaquatic Diving Centre,
spotted a giant manta ray with a rope to tie boats to its body.
The great marine animal was prevented from swimming,
because the rope that caught its body was stuck in some marine reefs.
However, the diver Damian Goodman knew he couldn't leave it like that.
Goodman, after removing the rope from the reefs,
approached the manta ray and began to remove the great rope from its body.
The manta ray was swimming and Goodman continued to try to untie the rope.
Finally, after several minutes, this great diver managed to remove the rope from the manta ray's body,
which was able to swim freely again.
