Welcome to my channel. This is our very first lesson video. Today we are learning Lǚ xíng zhōng wàng jì, forgetting our journey by Yuan Yawei, Tie Rui. I'll split this song into two videos and today we'll cover the first part. It's a slow gentle song about memories and moving forward, perfect for beginners. I know, Chinese pronunciation can be tricky, especially with the four tones and those pinyin mouth positions. Singing actually makes it easier because the melody softens the tones. That's why in this video, I'll sing each line very slowly with three-line subtitles, Chinese characters, pinyin and English translation. Then I'll read the full verse so you can feel the difference between singing and speaking.
