Benkyou shimasu.
And, ongaku wo kikimasu.
So, which one is the main action?
I would say, studying.
Benkyou shimasu.
And, we say, ongaku wo kikinagara benkyou shimasu.
Ongaku wo kikinagara benkyou shimasu.
So, sub-action nagara main-action.
Benkyou shimasu.
Okay, how about this?
Two actions.
Ongaku wo kikimasu.
And, taking shower.
Shower wo abimasu.
So, which one is the main action?
Shower wo abimasu.
So, the rule is, sub-action nagara main-action.
So, ongaku wo kikinagara main-action.
Shower wo abimasu.
Moichido.
Ongaku wo kikinagara shower wo abimasu.
Okay, how about this one?

Benkyou shimasu.
Main-action.
Ongaku wo kikinagara shower wo abimasu.
Main-action.
Utaimasu.
Utainagara sub-action.
Heya wo souji shimasu is main-action.
Okay, so O plus kiki.
Utai.
They are masu form.
So, kikimasu.
Just omit masu.
And utaimasu.
Omit masu.
Utai.
So, kyou wa masu form nagara verb.
Kore wo benkyou shimasu.
So, just don't forget.
Sub-action nagara main-action.
Okay, let's practice more.
Motto renshuu shimashou.

Just an example, okay?
So, keitai wo mimasu.
Kuruma wo untenshimasu.
Yes.
Keitai wo minagara kuruma wo untenshimasu.

But, please don't do it.

You can say...
Sub-action...

Keitai wo juuden shinagara...
Denwa shimasu.
Hai.
Keitai wo juuden shinagara...

Okay.
And, I can hear some questions from you guys about keitai.
When we write keitai, we use hiragana, kanji, or this katakana.
So, everything is correct.
Depends on your teacher, depends on your textbook.
So, just keitai.
Phone.
Keitai.
Okay.
Then, next.
Kouhii wo nomimasu.
Do some work.

And...
Gitaa wo play.
What is play in Japanese?
Gitaa wo hikimasu.
In this situation, it's difficult to decide which one is main action or sub action.
In that case...
Docchi mo daijoubu desu.
Both are fine.
Docchi mo daijoubu.
So, you can say...
Utainagara gitaa wo hikimasu.
Or you can also say...
Gitaa wo hikinagara utaimasu.
Okay.
How about this one?
This can be also difficult to decide which one is more important.
So, just example...

You can change it.
If reading...
If eating breakfast is more important for you, then you can change.
